18/09/2026: We were here on the last day of our vacation. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect ending. The multi-course surprise menu was absolutely sensational and a true culinary delight. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and the chef cooked just for us, making it a dinner for two. Monsieur Rabanel even came to our table to greet us. Simply wonderful! Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and went out of his way to serve us expertly despite the language barrier. All in all, this visit was an extraordinary experience, and we highly recommend it!

17/09/2026: Robinel put out a delicious meal. We had mussels with herbs and chorizo for the first course that were outstanding. Fresh and delicious. The passilidiare with onions and arugula was fresh and sweet. The main course I got was a slow cooked lamb that was very tender and perfectly seasoned. We also had a pavlova with pineapple that was the perfect ending

31/05/2026: We spent two nights at the end of May at the Château de Besseuil. It was simply enchanting. The superior double room in the annex that we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast offered consisted mainly of high-quality, local products. We also dined at the restaurant La Table de Besseuil, located at the entrance to the château. The setting is superb, and the cuisine is refined. The chef uses local and seasonal produce. The wine pairing recommended to us was perfect. This dinner was a delight for both our palates and our eyes. Moreover, the hotel and restaurant staff are very professional and pleasant. Special mention goes to Lana, who looked after us during dinner. The swimming pool was also very welcome during the hot weather.

07/12/2025: A very pleasant surprise! There were three of us, and we each ordered a different dish, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The steak was succulent and cooked perfectly! We'll definitely be back... and the price is extremely reasonable!

02/12/2025: We had a slightly late Saturday lunch, but received a very warm welcome on the covered terrace. The steak and Caesar salad were excellent, accompanied by a glass of red wine. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere in the market square is always pleasant.

21/10/2026: A must-try in Lagny! This is my third visit and everything is still perfect! Delicious, incredibly generous portions, homemade and very fresh. The desserts are amazing. Fast service and a fantastic team. One of the best restaurants around!

20/10/2026: Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've encountered staff who are grumpy, unwelcoming, and condescending. But yesterday, I decided to take my parents to this restaurant, and this visit was definitely the last straw. The service was awful, incredibly slow, and the staff were far from pleasant. To top it all off, the half-cooked steak was nowhere near as cooked as it should have been. My sister and I had stomach aches after the meal, which is frankly worrying. When you go to a restaurant, you expect at least decent service, respect, and properly prepared food. Here, there was none of that. It's all the more disappointing when you're inviting your family and want to have a good time. Too expensive for what it is. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. For me, it was the last time.

06/10/2026: €20 set menu (main course and dessert) 30-minute wait to be served even though the terrace wasn't full (and there was no one inside) One dish looked more like a children's meal or a starter (ravioli in a tiny dish, see photo), small portion, overcooked, and no sauce left... I absolutely do not recommend it. P.S.: The dessert did absolutely nothing to redeem it; despite the waiter's claim to the contrary, the chocolate mousse looked like a mass-produced one.

04/10/2026: Order errors throughout the entire service, a rather unpleasant waitress (not the young one), and the starters from two different menus arrived with the other dishes, meaning two people received their meals after everyone else had finished eating! No apologies and not even a complimentary coffee! A terrible experience!

17/08/2026: We had breakfast here: two sandwiches, two croissants, and a coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious. The quality and price are unbeatable. The service was excellent.
