09/06/2026: I never leave bad reviews but this place deserves my first. This is a tourist trap. The pasta has little to no sauce. Very dry. The steak was dry. The duck was dry. We could only eat a few bites of each dish. It was really really bad. Service was mediocre at best. Worst place I’ve ever eaten at. The only thing I can say good is the bread and butter was great!

08/06/2026: The restaurant is actually pretty good! The service is brilliant but the food… Literally fell in love with it. The only negative thing is the plastic flowers decoration. I guess the owner lady controls everything properly with strong hands. Well done! Highly recommended place!!!

18/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Terrasse du Châtel. The food was delicious, and the sauces that accompanied the meats were truly excellent. A big thank you also to Stéphanie, our waitress, who was very kind, attentive, and always ready to help. We will gladly return!

18/07/2026: Avoid this place at all costs: it's completely neglected, the room is straight out of the 1950s and has no air conditioning, even though it has 432 square meters of solar panels!!! Dishes from the evening were still lying around in the kitchen the next morning, along with flies, and the pool was dirty… but above all, the owner is incredibly arrogant, he thinks he's the best at everything (all lies), he can't stand it when you talk, he interrupts you, becomes aggressive, and tells you to leave. We don't understand how any travel companies still dare to offer this place! Reported to Smartbox

13/07/2026: A fantastic welcome... a passion for leatherwork shared by Michel... the workings of the mill and electricity production explained in a very clear and engaging way (you can see the old teacher in you)... and let's not forget the delicious food and produce from the vegetable garden...

26/06/2026: A bit disappointed by the unsheltered outdoor seating in this heatwave. No tables in the dorm to stay cool, and it's not air-conditioned either. The coffee wasn't great, and it took ages to serve two cups. A quick note, though, for the vendor who remained pleasant and friendly.

05/06/2026: Very disappointed. The price is excessive, and the service needs a complete overhaul. When a customer asks for something, it's extremely difficult to get any information; it's better to just tell them to go and see for themselves. Absolutely terrible, frankly disappointing for a first visit.

21/07/2026: The staff were disconcertingly rude. A young, clearly inexperienced waitress brazenly lied to customers right in front of us, claiming there were no more tables available, even though we ourselves, who hadn't even made a reservation, had been seated without any problem. As for the food, while it was acceptable, it was nothing more than mediocre, lacking any redeeming qualities whatsoever. But it was this blatant lack of professionalism, bordering on injustice, that ultimately disappointed us, leaving a most unfortunate impression of amateurism.

11/05/2026: It was perfect. The meat was exceptional, cooked exactly to my liking. I had the hanger steak and parsleyed veal liver combo. It was delicious. The atmosphere was great, just the way everyone likes it. The owner, the staff, and the cooks were all excellent. Go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed. I also had a truly divine homemade tiramisu and a very good St. Nicolas de Bourgueil red wine.

09/07/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant with an unpleasant manager. His nonchalant and disdainful tone ruined the quality of the food, which was otherwise good. We will not be returning!

22/05/2026: I discovered this place tonight because I'd heard good things about it. Drinks and food while listening to great live music. I wasn't disappointed. Simple and friendly. Good singers and musicians, a wide repertoire of pop-rock, and even a bit of jazz.
