30/06/2025: Very good food, nothing to complain about. However, they have a problem with gift voucher management: we had to specify this when booking (normal), then, upon request, call them back to give them the voucher number. On the day of the meal, at the end of the meal, we received a nasty remark from the waitress because we hadn't specified again upon arrival that we were bringing a gift voucher, which was hampering her handling of the cash register. (What was the point of providing all the information when booking then?) The service was also a bit rushed and cold, which didn't make you feel comfortable. The staff wasn't as attentive and caring as in good establishments, and for this price, it's a shame... It's a shame, but despite the quality of the food, we won't be back.

27/06/2025: Meanness or stinginess? We had a gift voucher valid for 6 months, but living 5 hours away and having a baby in the meantime, we were only able to book 12 days past the deadline. I was shocked to learn that the voucher was declined, despite three calls over a month before booking, with no clear response. I learned two weeks later that the voucher would not be extended. I hope this establishment isn't trying to be considered a fine restaurant, because it's not just about the food! Congratulations anyway on earning 100 euros without doing anything...

28/08/2024: We ate at the mill this afternoon, as usual wonderfully good, a warm welcome... The waitress was very friendly, no fuss, knows how to joke with us and that's what we like! Without knowing it, dish of the day, duck confit, our favorite dish for both of us! Don't change anything! We love everything about you ;-) See you soon! Juana and David

03/11/2024: Wir haben Foie Gras und Lamm jeweils zum Teilen bestestellt. Auf der Rechnung fanden wir dann 11 Euro mehr für einen zweiten Teller. Das ist schon heftig! Die Folie Gras war gut aber für 22 Euro homöopathisch, Kommentar Besitzer:"was gut ist ist eben wenig!" Das Lamm war mit einer sehr guten Sauce und Kartoffelpüree, es war ein Stück vom Gigot, ohne sonstige Beilagen und wenig, 39 Euro, schon heftig. Der Besitzer war sehr oberflächlich, wie man eben Massentouristen behandelt, die Frau war korrekter aber bei unserer Reklamation dann doch auch sehr unangenehm. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen, zumal es mit dem Clos de Mirande das beste Restaurant gibt, das wir in der Gegend kennen.

06/10/2024: On nous a recommandé ce restaurant lors d'une escapade à Saint Émilion. Et quel plaisir !!! Le soleil ☀️ était au rendez-vous, les propriétaires nous ont gentiment proposé une table en terrasse dans un cadre verdoyant et reposant. Un pur plaisir 🥰 Ensuite nous avons pu déguster des plats copieux et délicieux. Nous avons passé un très bon moment culinaire dans un lieu chaleureux et accueillant. Nous y reviendrons très prochainement.

18/09/2024: Assiettes plus que décevantes : un poisson médiocre, accompagnement très peu élaboré, ce qui doit être chaud ne l'est pas même après 1 retour en cuisine. Erreur de compréhension à la commande mais discutée par la serveuse, qui de plus a dû nous représenter 3 additions avant d'en proposer une sans erreur. Plein de petits détails m'insupportent dans le service : par 3 fois, pour l'entrée, pour le plat, pour le désert (donc n'est pas 1 hasard) la serveuse veut déservir alors que nous mangeons encore, le visage au-dessus de l'assiette, les couverts dedans ! Du jamais vu !!! Je déconseille très vivement

04/07/2025: We stayed for one night with our cycling group and everything was perfect: a very warm welcome, clean and well-equipped rooms, a gourmet dinner with the house specialty, the delicious tarte tatin, and a full breakfast. I recommend this establishment for its location and its amenities.

28/06/2025: Maison Tatin Tea Room Where we enjoyed the famous and exquisite Tarte Tatin 😉 The atmosphere is warm and the place very cozy. I highly recommend this place 😀

19/09/2024: We called on JLT for our wedding at Château de Champ Renard in Blacé on August 17 for 120 people. Everything went very well from the remote organization, the tasting in Chaponost and of course the big day. The JLT teams were very responsive to a last minute weather change and all our guests were delighted with the service and the quality of the appetizers and dishes served. Communication was very fluid with the maître d'hôtel, which allowed the timing established with JLT and other service providers to be respected.

17/08/2024: We used Lafargue Traiteur for our wedding and we were very satisfied with the result. The cocktail was very popular with our guests. Yassine took great care of us by bringing us trays so that we could eat. We thank the entire new team and especially Guillaume, the laboratory chef who prepared our meal.
