06/10/2026: A wonderful discovery in Lalouvesc! Le Vivarais is a small, welcoming restaurant, run by a very kind lady who made us feel right at home. Special mention for the crème brûlée: simply the best I've ever tasted! An address I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return.

15/09/2026: The set menu of a main course and dessert was €25, good but overpriced for the portion size. To be served, especially for coffee, you're served after the locals and have to ask again and wait until the waitress finally decides to serve you. Tourists, steer clear, this isn't the place for us.

11/08/2026: Charming hotel, exceptionally quiet and welcoming, with a generous, unsalted breakfast. We didn't have enough time for the pool (2 days) 😉

30/07/2026: Beautiful manor house, magnificent hydrangeas all around the rooms. Very quiet. Charming welcome.

03/09/2026: Chortoya Cottage We booked this cottage for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is very pleasant, clean, spacious, and perfectly maintained. The only slight drawback is that the kitchen is a bit small, but it's still functional and has everything you need to prepare meals. Our interactions with the owners were particularly warm. We thank them for their trust and availability, despite their absence during our stay. We simply regret not having had the opportunity to try their cooking, which we'd heard so much about. A good reason to come back next time!

16/06/2026: The all-you-can-eat buffet wasn't very well stocked; there were a lot of missing appetizers. The daily specials were decent and plentiful. The service was quick and efficient.

02/03/2026: The dish of the day (hanger steak in sauce) and the seafood tagliatelle were excellent. Brasserie atmosphere.

15/08/2026: A pleasant restaurant with only one menu, but it's perfectly adequate, and at least care is taken with the food. The place is comfortable, and the waitress was very pleasant, smiling, and helpful. We will gladly return.

03/02/2026: An absolutely perfect stay! The welcome was exceptional from the moment we arrived: warm, attentive, and very professional. The breakfast consisted of excellent fresh, high-quality products. The room, simple but very comfortable and clean, offered plenty of storage, which was truly appreciated. The bathroom was spacious and pleasant. The host was always available, extremely friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The location is ideal, less than 10 minutes by car from the slopes. We highly recommend this place, especially thanks to the exceptional kindness of the host. We will gladly return!

27/08/2026: The pizzeria is clean, the honey is amazing, and the staff are respectful. I love this place! Several cream puffs for those who are offended.

21/08/2026: Ordered two pizzas: one Campione and one Extravagante, both 26cm, along with two calzones. They were good, with a very thin crust, but we were disappointed by the absence of eggs, or perhaps they were very well hidden. Be aware that the photos on the website don't match the delivery. The products listed in the description are correct, but the photo (Extravagante) doesn't include olives or propolis. Otherwise, we were satisfied considering the price.

21/10/2026: Today, October 21st, I ate at this cozy restaurant. The lady who served me was friendly and professional. The food was delicious, especially the Garbure, which I really enjoyed. Greetings from Catarroja (Valencia)

12/10/2026: The food was certainly plentiful and not bad in itself, but the dishes were completely uninspired, and not just made with mediocre local ingredients. Furthermore, the welcome was extremely unpleasant; you'd think you weren't welcome. As for the hotel, I don't know, I only ate there.

26/08/2026: Delicious! This restaurant has such lovely and friendly service. The waiter took plenty of time to speak with us and share his recommendations in good English. There is also a wide selection of homemade desserts. Tip for people with celiac disease: gluten-free bread is available (for an extra charge) to accompany the fondue 🫕

23/08/2026: I had the worst case of food poisoning in my life and I'm barely recovering. I ordered the Asian-style steak tartare, and just writing the word makes me nauseous. I had to be given two IV drips to rehydrate, which is very difficult in the mountains. The food apparently arrives already prepared (even though it's advertised as homemade), and the cold chain is clearly not being maintained. I didn't think I was risking my life by eating at this restaurant, and in hindsight, I didn't want to post a review, but the consequences were too serious for me not to do my part by warning people not to order their steak tartare. My mother spoke on the phone with someone from the restaurant who denied any responsibility in this problem; however, it has been proven by the fire department, the hospital services in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, and the Vallandry medical center that I suffered very serious food poisoning from what I ate at this restaurant. Perhaps the other dishes were a little more palatable, but I'm still recovering from a major health scare because of a single meal. I'm not expecting answers, compensation, or even apologies (they weren't offered initially): this is a matter of public awareness. Don't eat their steak tartare.

10/10/2026: We had a wonderful time at the NE/SO restaurant. It starts off gently, and then the cuisine truly comes into its own, enhanced by the perfect wine pairing! We embark on a journey from the sea to the continent with some bold choices. Bravo to the entire team, both in the kitchen and the dining room, for this truly beautiful experience! I would love to return!

09/10/2026: Very nice, well executed, not really any flaws, but now that we've tried it, we don't particularly plan to return even though we live nearby. Perhaps we missed that little something extra. But still enjoyable and a good time! Special mention for the truly delicious dessert that we won't forget.

12/09/2026: I came 20-25 days ago with my wife and children, and we received a very warm welcome. The food was very good, and the wait wasn't too long, but what I particularly appreciated was your new waiter, "Naïm" or "Nazim," a short, smiling young man who took excellent care of us and helped my children (who don't speak a word of French) choose their order (by the way, the fish and chips is delicious). He made us feel so at home that we were completely comfortable. We can't wait to see him and everyone else again as soon as you reopen.
