15/07/2026: While hiking in the area, we passed by on July 14th... could that explain why this designated "quiet zone" turned into a concert zone, accompanying us for kilometers of walking? I love music and gladly go to concerts, but when I'm in nature, it's 100% nature, peace and quiet. This hostel doesn't seem to respect that philosophy.

26/06/2026: The welcome was very good, but the food wasn't great, the meat was really tough, and quite expensive.

21/06/2026: An absolutely outrageous experience. We sat down on the terrace and a waiter came to take our order. We ordered two diabolo drinks (strawberry and grenadine). After a long wait, an employee finally came back to tell us they couldn't serve us because we had to "order" to remain seated. Excuse me? Since when does ordering two drinks not constitute a purchase? It's completely incomprehensible and, above all, disrespectful to customers. If there's a specific rule, it should be clearly stated before taking the order and making people wait, not afterward. A total lack of professionalism, deplorable organization, and an unacceptable way of treating customers. We left shocked and with a very negative impression of this establishment. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

28/06/2026: I only go there for afternoon tea; the ice cream and crepes are very good!

27/06/2026: The Nutella crepes were good and very reasonably priced. The ice cream was also delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

06/07/2026: Extremely disappointed. The dining room was very bright before dinner, and I was next to a group playing foosball 😞. It was very noisy, making it difficult to hear anything. As for the food, the baked potatoes were reheated. The chocolate mousse was an industrial concoction—an instant potion they call chocolate mousse. The service was unprofessional.

10/06/2026: Perfect welcome. Booked using a Smartbox voucher. Nearby parking is available for €15 per day. We opted for a paid upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the river and the old castle, which we were very glad we did! A beautiful, functional room with an en-suite shower room, tastefully decorated for our recent wedding. Very comfortable bedding 👌. The private spa session was much appreciated. A delicious dinner with delightful cocktails and wines that we selected from the menu to complement our meal. The dining room was pleasant with bay windows facing the old castle. Breakfast the next morning was excellent with a wide selection of fresh, homemade, and local products (both hot and cold). We received a wonderful farewell at reception, as always, with a charming welcome. We were delighted with our stay. We highly recommend this establishment. Thank you to the entire team 🤗

01/06/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western in Clisson. The hotel is beautiful and very well located, but what truly makes the difference is the quality of the service. The entire team is exceptionally friendly and professional. The receptionists are smiling, available, and always ready to help (Soulaimane, Stéphanie, etc.). The breakfast staff are attentive and ensure everything runs smoothly. The same is true at the bar, where the welcome is warm and friendly. A big thank you to all the staff for their kindness and good humor, which contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. We will gladly return!

05/04/2026: We had a wonderful meal! Sophisticated and inventive cuisine. Friendly staff. Attentive owners. Refined setting with views of Lake Bourget and the surrounding mountains. Modern decor and furnishings. One of the best restaurants we've ever been to. We highly recommend it.

14/03/2026: This isn't the quality I knew 10 years ago. The menu was very light, and the wine by the glass was a nice touch. It tasted more like a forgotten, everyday wine. It's a real shame.

02/07/2026: We were there for a corporate event in the summer. The venue is beautiful and pleasant, and the service was excellent. We were seated outdoors (some areas were covered, others not) with a few places to sit, but most people were standing. We were mainly indoors in the evening for the dance. I highly recommend this venue.

12/07/2026: - Great restaurant, simple, efficient, and well-run. - Several set menus are offered, daily specials and others; we tried both, and both were excellent, no complaints. - The only issue is that unfortunately, many people don't turn off their phones, resulting in ringing and calls during lunchtime. It's a shame, but I'm not taking that into account in my rating. - Well located and parking is easily accessible. - I recommend it.

20/06/2026: BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS The service team seems to have changed recently, and they're serving warm bottled beers while taking your payment before you even notice. They don't offer any compensation when you point it out. I used to spend long evenings here drinking pints of beer, but I'll bring my own drinks from now on!
