25/04/2026: Restaurant It's very well located and the tables are spaced far enough apart, which is very comfortable. The seafood platter was very fresh but ultimately rather small. For €49, I expected better: just white bread, a small bowl of vinegar for three people, some items sold by weight, so it's hard to say if it was reasonable for the price... The young woman who served us the platter put it at the end of the table without taking the time to present it to us. However, the more experienced waitress took the time to present their wine list to us. Not disappointed, but not blown away either.

25/04/2026: What a gem of a find?! Very French, delicious food, a perfect vibe and very lovely staff. In fact our waiter was phenomenal. An absolute ‘must go’ place if you are anywhere in this side of the hemisphere. Wish we had a place half as nice back in Blighty. Thank you.pup

22/03/2026: Good evening. Having stayed for two nights in March 2026, I found the hotel truly exceptional: the welcome, the room, the jacuzzi. Thomas is accommodating and attentive (and the pizza is very good (thank you Thomas, you'll know who I am)). The après-ski was top-notch, thank you for everything.

14/07/2026: Very clean room, TV, bathtub, comfortable bed, Wi-Fi. A big plus: there's a shared lounge upstairs with a large TV, a large terrace, and a refrigerator. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, smiling, and helpful. Breakfast was good, with local cheeses and charcuterie. Right in the heart of the village. Excellent value for money.

15/09/2025: A wonderful inn. The home-style cooking was excellent, with beautiful presentation. From the goat cheese and fig puff pastry to the galette and the tagine, everything was superb. The service was attentive and very efficient. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with rare warmth and attentiveness—a team that went above and beyond, immediately setting the tone for our stay. The cuisine is absolutely wonderful: flavorful, generous dishes, prepared with great care. The setting… a little slice of paradise. Magnificent, bucolic, and peaceful, with a view and atmosphere that invite you to completely disconnect. Honestly, this place is a gift. My colleagues were amazed and charmed from beginning to end—so much so that everyone is already talking about returning! Thank you for this unforgettable stay; we will gladly return ❤️

30/07/2026: I'm impressed by the responsiveness of this roadside assistance team that serves the Chénas area. Alex arrived at my house within 20 minutes on Saturday evening, at a time when I was worried I'd have to spend the night with a flat tire. She was attentive, patient, and quick, which saved me a lot of trouble. The quoted price was honored, which isn't always the case. I'm keeping her number safe.

Yes, a year ago I had lunch with my wife for her birthday. Surprise! I arranged for her to receive some treats with the help of the restaurant. Affordable, and they made the surprise cake the waitress had promised, in addition to the cakes on the menu. My wife, of course, ordered the surprise cake; yes, my wife was curious. The dishes were delicious, generously portioned, and made with high-quality ingredients. The vegetarian options were also particularly appreciated, which was a real plus for us and our guests. Beyond the quality of the food, we were won over by the team. Throughout the evening, the service was impeccable: the staff were discreet, smiling, respectful, available, and incredibly kind. Finally, we want to highlight the thoughtful touches they showed us throughout the evening. Without us even having to ask, they discreetly ensured we had everything we needed. As newlyweds, it was truly a comfort to be able to fully enjoy our evening feeling so well taken care of. 16/09/2026: You probably wouldn't think of having lunch in a tobacconist's... And yet, surely an exception in Le Bouscat, the tobacconist is a chef! Simple and very good, what more could you want at lunchtime? Unusual, L'Espérance on the corner offers taste, flavors, and the chef's modesty.
