22/09/2024: We had an excellent evening for my partner's birthday in this authentic place.
The welcome, the meal and the setting are perfect.
I will give an extra star for the waitress's explanations for cooking the meats and her kindness towards my little daughter.
Congratulations to both of you for the quality of service and meal.
Thank you very much and we look forward to returning to your beautiful establishment.
15/09/2024: In an authentic setting (take the time to admire the 16th century parquet flooring) you will taste very good dishes prepared with care. In particular the deer mouse cooked at low temperature.
The welcome is very warm and friendly.
In short, we do not regret the detour we took to spend this great time.
We will not hesitate to come back....
And we came back in September...and still just as nice and delicious...so I'm giving it the 5th star and adding a photo.
Sauerkraut of the Sea...a real treat....really. And to finish, a delicious faitselle followed by a homemade fruit salad.... all this for 25 euros.....I say BRAVO

12/09/2024: Very disappointed by the cooking of the almost burnt pancakes and the industrial ham, yet the dough seemed successful so they made our pancakes burn, I don't know why, no luck, and why industrial ham? You are on a nice site opposite the court, lawyers come to eat at your house sometimes I imagine, why serve them this product? Otherwise the rest of the filling is good so it's disappointing but potentially can become good with effort! Butcher's ham please not this swollen filth you find in supermarkets! It's a shame !
31/08/2024: The pancakes are excellent, the welcome is identical to the kitchen, perfect. Very good address to discover Breton gastronomy.

29/11/2024: Belle surprise en découvrant la crêperie "le blé noir" et son menu à 15,90€ (entrée thonade, galette 3 ingrédients et dessert).
Accueil souriant, carte complète et variée de galettes, prix corrects pour Biarritz. Moyennant des suppléments, nous avons pris deux menus et demandé une galette plus élaborée.
Les crêpes sont généreuses et bien garnies.
Endroit et ambiance agréables, je recommande.
26/09/2024: Se trata de una excelente crepería que sirve una amplia gama de crepes salados y dulces. Nos sentamos dentro (han reformado bien el interior desde nuestra última visita en 2018 ) pero también hay una terraza. Está situado justo al lado del mar y disfrutamos de hermosas vistas de la puesta de sol sobre el mar. El servicio fue rápido y cortés y los precios son muy razonables.

10/09/2024: Nous avons organisé notre repas de baptême pour 40 personnes à l'auberge des Hetz et nous avons été ravis. Nous étions déjà venu il y a 6 ans pour notre premier enfant et malgré le changement de propriétaire entre temps pour était très bien.
La cuisine est très bonne et le chef s'adapte à nos envies pour l'organisation, la décoration de la table etc...
Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons également en plus petit comité.

14/09/2024: Quick welcome and service, a limited menu and choice of menus but a real Chef in the kitchen. Top seasoning, neither too much nor too little, well thought out and superbly executed dishes. “Tasting” quantities but it’s the exercise that requires that and it’s a shame, because we would have happily dived back into certain dishes. In short, an excellent address that I invite you to try.

11/08/2024: Arrived on the 6th August with our caravan. The pitch is tight and right opposite the noisey park with inflatables so screaming kids in the evening makes it hard to relax. The electric hook up doesn’t have water also as other campsite do in France. There needs to be a swimming pool
On this site as it is very hot in the summer and the lake isn’t comfortable to sit on a slop. Can I suggest you make the beach area longer! So it’s not comfortable to sit on. The staff in reception are nice and the animation. The staff in the shop are super slow. don’t just go and buy one thing at this shop as it will take you 10 minutes to pay . You are best off getting supplies from Lidl up the road. Will not stay here again it’s too busy for me and also actually quite expensive for 70 euro a night.
11/08/2024: Beautiful campsite well located, 5/10 minutes from the beach depending on your location.

26/08/2024: Repas entre amis, un samedi soir, excellent lieu et très beau cadre repas de qualité avec un service de qualité.
Nous avons été servi rapidement et comme il faut. Manque peut-être de choix au niveau des bières pression. C’est quand même un repère des bons vivants, dommage qu’il y ait deux choix de grandes marques connues, on pourrait y trouver des bières locales, ce qui serait plus intéressant.
Aucun café gourmand en dessert, ce qui pourrait être un point à améliorer. Il y a un seul rhum arrangé qui est d’ailleurs excellent, mais je pense qu’il pourrait y en avoir d’autres.
et sinon, nous sommes très satisfait de ce repas entre amis .

23/08/2024: A stone's throw from the motorway, an excellent village restaurant with good products and a warm welcome. Menu at €15.90 unlimited starter (quality), main course and dessert plus wine, all excellent: for the same price you have a stale sandwich and a Coke on a motorway rest area...
