10/09/2025: I came to the town on a trip, I wanted to eat meat grilled over a wood fire and it ended up on the griddle, I wanted rare meat and it was black, overcooked, the fries were terrible to cut with a knife. Avoid, disgusting, atrocious, a bad experience. As I told you when I left, I am really very disappointed.

10/09/2025: Sunday afternoon, we wanted to have a drink on the terrace with some biker friends, 8 people, but the young waiter kindly told us that he couldn't serve us, that he was inside upstairs, while people had all just left. Apparently, this restaurant doesn't run after customers. So, we went to have a drink in the city center nearby and, to our great surprise, when we came back 30 minutes later, two couples were on the terrace enjoying a drink, etc... A total disgrace.

16/09/2025: We go every year and always receive a warm welcome from Pascal and Wahaide. The food is excellent and such good value.

01/09/2025: A restaurant just the way we like them: authentic and friendly. Go there with your eyes closed: it feels like home. Thank you for this much-appreciated welcome drink.

13/10/2025: Friendly, bistro with a very nice family atmosphere, the food is excellent, in any case I am never disappointed with my dishes or the welcome.

30/08/2025: Thank you for your kindness and patience. This is the gentleman who has a problem with his credit card following the incident on Saturday, August 30th. I will come back and I recommend.

16/11/2025: What a disappointment... the waiter (a gentleman of a certain age) who greeted us, while certainly friendly, rushed us throughout dinner, serving us very quickly, bringing us the bill while interrupting our conversation, even though the coffee had just been served. He came back 5 minutes later with his card reader to take payment, clearing our table bit by bit, making it clear we were leaving at 10:30 pm... how shameful. Some dishes were more or less acceptable... the presentation of the chicken with the bones needs to be reconsidered. In short, I will not be returning and I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

01/11/2025: Drawn in by the menu featuring an omelet with chanterelles and black trumpet mushrooms, you discover an exceptional spot: a awning-covered patio, an island of tranquility in the heart of Nîmes. The service is outstanding, the sommelier offers excellent advice, and the cuisine is homemade using fresh, local ingredients, orchestrated by renowned chef Sébastien Granier, a Bocuse alumnus (photo visible at the entrance). The wine cellar is top-notch... a set menu at €25, the omelet at €19... it's top-notch without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

27/01/2026: We received a very warm welcome, the decor was quite nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Kidneys for one of us and veal Zurich-style for me; it was both very good and very generous.

08/01/2026: We had a wonderful meal on vacation. The menu was good, and the smelt with its homemade sauce, the skate wing, the calf's head, the crème brûlée, and the Norman apple tart were all excellent. All for a very reasonable price. The staff is fantastic. Thank you!

22/10/2025: We spent 14 days in Saintes Maries and ate 13 times at this wonderful, simple restaurant. We had fish or seafood every evening, which was amazing. The value for money is absolutely spot on. The service is friendly, fast, and courteous. One thing is for sure: we'll be back. Many thanks to the chef and his fantastic team.

29/09/2025: Perfect! Perfectly cooked swordfish, cuttlefish, excellent fries. And a succulent fresh fruit salad! All for a more than reasonable price. We'll definitely be back and recommend it.

12/12/2024: The room was dirty (carpet not vacuumed) the bathroom also (long-time moldy joints and clogged sink), the mattress was not comfortable (tired with a hole in the middle) and the welcome was not pleasant.

15/09/2025: I went for a cup of tea. I was served a cheap tea from Casino, in a cardboard cup. I paid €3.50. The setting isn't bad, but for that price, I won't be going there again.
