12/12/2025: Honestly, 1925 in Bordeaux… what a wonderful surprise! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warmth and attentiveness that is rare these days. The waiter recommended the scallop carpaccio with vanilla, and I must say, it was delicious. The next course was just as good and very fragrant: superb presentation, nothing to criticize. You can really tell that everything is done with care. We had a truly pleasant, simple, and genuine experience, and it just makes you want to go back.

26/08/2024: What a sublime place for gastronomic cocooning! Jason - your pro in the selection of meats and wines - and his other half who is head chef in the kitchen welcome you... deliciously in a temple of MEAT (but there is always a great fish too!) and with accompaniments of gratins, mille-feuilles and purees and other vegetables from Saiyson and the local area to die for!!! The gratin dauphinois is worth the detour! Just like the marrow bone (a tibia cut in two along its length!) which we will share with pleasure.... A very nice gastro 'bistro' without fuss, authentic, where you feel good and where everything savored with tranquility and joy. Well done ! Not to be missed and ideal for celebrating with friends as well as for an intimate or family meal..... See you soon!

23/08/2024: Visited this lovely intimate bistro with French friends. This place is excellent especially if you like beef and great wine. It is modern in style, classic in flavour using the very best, high quality produce. The service is also excellent - friendly, knowledgeable and happy to please. The steak is great and there was an amazing sausage made with pork and wagyu beef. The vegetable dishes were very good too with a delicious buttery potato and carrot mille-feuille and dauphinoise. The house sangria cocktail was the best sangria I’ve ever had. This maybe a small restaurant but it is big on flavour, style and not too pricey.

29/09/2024: For me the best restaurant in the village. The service is very nice and I found the food to be extremely good and fairly priced. Unfortunately we couldn't sit in the garden due to the weather, but the inside of the restaurant is nice too.

23/09/2024: A restaurant like us would like to find more. Simply excellent, crispy black pudding and squids, braised octopus salicornia caprons and small vegetables, local cheeses, plus the discovery of a white wine aged underwater in Socoa. And all this for a very reasonable price of €49 without wine and coffee. Add to that a perfect welcome and service. Well done, I will come back to enjoy other dishes like the duck roasted with Japanese Bb and garnished with summer truffle. Hmm!!!

04/09/2024: Fourth time going there with my wife. Top notch cuisine, very pleasant and friendly staff. The chef is always present and comes to present his dishes to you in person. The setting really has nothing to say. We will continue to go there just to support the chef in his eco-responsible cooking efforts, and who each time proves his culinary genius to us.

30/08/2024: The blind menus of this restaurant can be enjoyed with your eyes closed! It wasn't the first time we went there and it won't be the last! Everything is perfect, the dishes, the food, the chef, the service…. Everything is done to ensure that you have an unforgettable time. Without forgetting the delicate attentions to which we were entitled. A big thank you to the whole team, we will come back and recommend this restaurant to everyone around us. See you soon !

16/09/2024: ... c'est ce qui nous a agreablement surpris dans ce restaurant que, de passage, nous avons choisi parce qu'il se trouvait sur notre chemin. Si vous aimez l'andouillette, vous ne seres pqs decus par l'originale et excellente preparation du chef (ou de la cheffe ?). Jolie terrasse avec vue sur le Canigou.

22/09/2024: This was a first for my husband and me. Honestly an address to remember. It is the best restaurant in the Ardennes. In addition to a very hearty gourmet meal, the staff takes great care of their customers. In short, I recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. And I forgot to specify, a magnificent setting.

Without forgetting the excellent homemade desserts. A small family restaurant, perhaps, an essential address, certainly.

23/08/2024: Accueil sympa, ambiance superbe, vue sur le four à bois, serveuse efficace, très gentille et professionnelle. Quand aux plats, tout est parfait. Os à moelle, œuf cocotte aux cèpes un régal suivi d’une matouille et d’un reblochon fondue, très copieux, charcuterie délicieuse, rien à redire. Un petit génépi offert par la patronne. Merci pour tout c’était PARFAIT

09/07/2025: My wife and I stayed one night in the Désir chalet. The welcome was attentive and thoughtful. We waited over a complimentary drink while our chalet was made available to us, even though our arrival was scheduled for a later date. We appreciated this very kind gesture. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. As for the chalet, it was an enchanting getaway for my wife and me, as the setting was idyllic and peaceful. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and warmly decorated. As for the hammam and jacuzzi, we spent delightful moments of tranquility there. Finally, the property manager was extremely natural and charming upon our departure. We enjoyed her delightful conversation. Thank you again. We recommend it.
