01/06/2026: What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was! The staff were incredibly attentive... and there was hardly any wait between courses. One small drawback: the duck tartare was far too small, even as a starter. I suggest you add it to the menu as a main course. The walnut cake was also a bit of a disappointment, being rather dry. However, the children's menu is nice, as it includes duck among other options. And above all, we had a lovely time in a friendly atmosphere!

09/05/2026: Absolutely fantastic. This restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but it's well worth a visit. The quality, taste, and price of the dishes are excellent. Everything is homemade, even the bread. The service is top-notch, with explanations of each dish served. A nice touch was the thoughtful service between courses. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

03/05/2026: We discovered it at her stand during the Fête des Mai in Nice and we had a slice of praline flan. Being big flan lovers, I found the texture just perfect and the taste amazing. It's a shame we don't live in Nice!

11/04/2026: We used Maryssweeties for our daughter's birthday and christening cake. Everything was done exactly as we'd hoped and with great care. The cream puffs were delicious and the tiered cake was magnificent. Everyone loved it! Thank you so much! 😋

26/05/2026: A family meal for 11, in a small (but we had plenty of room!) private room that was air-conditioned before our arrival. Since we had announced our choices in advance, everything went perfectly, at a very pleasant pace, with delightful discoveries on our plates, both visually and gastronomically. We felt right at home, but with Michelin-starred dishes. All the dishes were succulent (prawns, cuttlefish, fish, hanger steak...) and beautifully presented. Impeccable service. The desserts were perfect (chocolate or strawberry), with a special mention for the pea crème brûlée: daring, original, and a real treat. We lingered a bit longer than usual because we were so comfortable; I hope the restaurant doesn't mind, because we'd love to come back.

31/05/2026: We booked a room with a forest view for our two dogs. Despite their size, we were warmly welcomed, and the manager was very friendly. The supplement for them was very reasonable. The forest trails start about fifty meters away, and the lake is opposite the hotel. The hotel is quite quiet, and the room was functional and clean. The only slight drawback was the lack of parking in the evening when the restaurant is busy.

31/05/2026: An exceptional dinner at Le Suquet. A wonderful setting; we were treated to a fabulous sunset over the Aubrac plateau. A meal bursting with flavor, served by kind, efficient, and smiling staff who were never stuffy. The cuisine is exquisitely refined. You'll never look at your salad the same way again! And the cooking was masterful! Truly, an unforgettable experience.

25/05/2026: Pleasant restaurant, friendly owner, the meal was decent in the town center, priced for two Corsican specialties. Traditional Corsican cuisine, simple but effective. There's a terrace or indoor seating. The prices are rather high, though.

14/05/2026: Passing through, we ordered a Cévennes platter which was outrageously expensive: one sausage, two spoonfuls of salad with three chestnut pieces, and fries. We are polite people and ate without complaining. The bill wouldn't go through, even with a €2 discount, because my husband didn't order the salad. Very disappointed. Tourist trap.

16/05/2026: I've rarely had such good meat. And I'm quite a carnivore. If you want to spend a pleasant evening in a small, intimate setting with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. As soon as I'm back in Valenciennes, I'm going back!
