13/09/2025: We are staying at the hotel, which is lovely and the staff are very nice but I had the worst steak of my life at the restaurant and will be avoiding for the rest of the trip. A tough and gristle filled, unpleasant piece of meat. I left most of it, and it wasn’t cheap.
18/08/2025: Extremely disappointed. From the department and quite fine gourmets and knowing how to cook well (according to our friends) we scour the surrounding restaurants, in all price ranges, to treat ourselves. Given the advertising of this establishment which prides itself on creative and original cuisine with seasonal vegetables and the fact that the establishment is listed among the Toques blanches du Roussillon (L'Almandin, La Balette, la Galinette, Le Clos des Lys which we loved) encouraged us to try it. Even though it is August, the menu is more than meager, very little choice and not very original. The lack of choice can sometimes be a guarantee of quality and freshness but there is a big disappointment. My husband orders an octopus carpaccio: microscopic at 14€ and tasteless. I ordered a melon and pepper gazpacho and watermelon brunoise with olive oil and basil, normally served with focaccia, but I was told there was no focaccia, even though that was the exact combination I liked. So I didn't order anything because foie gras at 40 degrees, no thanks, and I'm fed up with farmed salmon. In addition, we will appreciate the accompaniment of chicken carpaccio with raw vegetables (carrots, kohlrabi or celeriac (I have a doubt), bagged salad which, as everyone knows, are summer vegetables!? All unseasoned and no spices, herbs, NOTHING. As for the main dishes, there is still little choice. We opt for the fish from the market at 23 euros (sea bream fillet) and the grilled sea bass fillet suggestion. Already, only one fillet, not even 100 g of fish! On the other hand, regarding the cooking, nothing to complain about. If only to compensate for the meager portion of fish, the accompaniment was correct.... As seasonal vegetables in August, "cauliflower puree" which is still digestible because at 40 degrees we do better and sweet potato puree, 2 tablespoons of each. The best part: the lazy chef "taped" (that's the word that comes to me and which suits me) under the fillet The fish, the same raw vegetable salad as the octopus accompaniment (kohlrabi and carrots), always unseasoned. The manager wanted to offer us dessert, which is very commercial, but when it's not good, it's not good. When I got home, I quickly cooked myself a meal. In short, we tried it and we won't be going back. There's no shortage of good and excellent restaurants in Roussillon! The setting, however, is very refreshing and peaceful. In conclusion, poor value for money.

16/01/2026: Worst pizza I've ever eaten in my life… I ordered a tomato-based pizza with salmon that they call the Nordic. The salmon tasted like nothing but salmon, the tomato sauce was incredibly acidic, and they added something in the middle of the pizza that looked like crème fraîche—I don't even know what it was. In short, I was very disappointed. The pizza cost €15! I would have gone to the kebab shop near my house; I would have eaten better for less, and at least I would have known what was in my food. I do not recommend this pizza. NEVER AGAIN!!!

13/11/2025: While out and about in the Gers region, near Montréal where no restaurants are open on Mondays, we stopped in Eauze where we had eaten once before. There, on the lovely square, the Café de France was open, with its beautiful carved wooden facade and sheltered terrace. We went in and were greeted very kindly by the young waitress. We were seated and she gave us time to choose from the dishes, salads, and pizzas. The service was discreet and efficient. The pizza was fantastic, and I was even able to customize some of the ingredients. Don't order a starter; you won't be able to finish your plate! It was a real treat. The rosé was very pleasant and chilled. The dining room is lovely and uncluttered.

30/01/2026: Just a few steps from the Gare de Lyon station, the restaurants in front of the station seemed excessively expensive. After a few steps, I found this pizzeria. I was a bit hesitant, so I ordered a Napolitana pizza and I must say I was very satisfied. The pizza was good, incredibly easy to digest, and the service was very prompt. And the price was more than fair: pizza and a bottle of water, €13.50!

26/11/2025: Very disappointed. The veal stew was cold and had more sauce than meat—I'm still looking for it, and when I finally found it, I thought it was shredded chicken. It took 35 minutes to change a beer keg; that's a long time. Two hours for a weekday lunch is a long time; luckily, there were only six of us in the restaurant. The brasseries next door are far superior. I won't be going back. Avoid it.

10/07/2025: 60€ for two people, very expensive for a boiled potato (tasted watery when tasted and much overcooked and small) quickly put in the oven then reheated in the microwave, two pieces of vegetables and a mini piece of salmon and not even shrimp on it, a profiterole éclair, for which I had to ask for chocolate because only a taste at the start. and a drink. It had been a long time since I ate in this chain, and well this is the last one, I agree that the prices have increased, but increasing the prices and reducing the portions is theft. Restaurant to avoid, don't even bother looking at the menu because when you see the photos you will be fooled. Because the photos are tempting but in front of the plate you are disappointed.
