16/03/2026: I've never been there, but I've always heard great things about it. I wanted to eat there for lunch today, but apparently it's been permanently closed since Saturday. What a shame!

07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Venette! Le Méga is a restaurant that pleasantly surprises. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in the ambiance of a Savoyard chalet, with plenty of wood, warm decor, and intimate spaces reminiscent of mountain inns. The atmosphere is friendly and truly refreshing, especially considering it's so close to Compiègne. The dining room is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with tables equally suited to group meals and quieter dinners. The menu offers generous and delicious French cuisine: beautiful cuts of meat, cheese specialties, regional dishes, and a few perfectly executed classics. You can tell the food is made for pleasure, simple yet satisfying. Special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at ease. A welcoming spot where you can have a wonderful time, and where you'll naturally want to return.

11/07/2026: A pleasant little stop away from the crowds and in the shade, with tasty sharing plates at reasonable prices for the area, and a very friendly welcome.

10/07/2026: It was a very hot and sunny day. The team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. We needed shade, they provided it. The food was lovely, especially the home made chips. Well cooked and seasoned. Just perfect. We had the mussels and the Croque monsieur. Both were lovely. The Coca Cola was icy cold. The whole combination of service, food and atmosphere was perfect. It made our day in Paris.

28/05/2026: Super nice people, top chefs, and a great wine list. We also sometimes end up in the bar at the front, without eating. We are known there as “les Belges”

26/07/2026: A restaurant well worth the detour, with a beautiful, flower-filled terrace, a warm atmosphere, and excellent food. The service is impeccable; the waitresses truly go the extra mile to satisfy every customer, even when the restaurant is full. Bravo to the whole team! I highly recommend it!!! 😍

26/07/2026: A superb evening! Beautiful terrace, excellent atmosphere, and the food was top-notch. Special mention to the pizzas, which were delicious. The waitresses were truly dedicated and did their best despite the crowds. A place to remember, and reservations are highly recommended.

11/03/2026: Excellent home cooking! The meat is truly delicious. Generous dessert. The dining room gets a bit noisy when it's busy, but the service is friendly and the food is quick. 👍 I recommend it!

15/05/2026: On a girls' weekend getaway, we stopped in Beaumes-de-Venise for lunch and were lucky enough to get a table at La Part des Anges... We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious, and we received a very warm welcome... A glass of beer + main course (Gardiane de Taureau = a delight) + dessert (chocolate-coconut mousse) for 25 euros! I highly recommend it.

14/07/2026: A lovely experience at this well-located crêperie in Rambouillet. A warm and friendly welcome, generous galettes with good cider. Homemade is guaranteed when indicated, and the terrace is very pleasant.

12/07/2026: Very disappointing. The so-called pizza dough was made by an artisan baker, but it was just pre-made dough. The slice of bread was soggy, undercooked, topped with supermarket ham and Gruyère cheese. The order taking process was completely disorganized. Nothing arrived at the same time. In short, you wonder how this business survives. I won't be staying long. Avoid at all costs.

02/03/2026: Passing through Toul, we chose to eat at Brasserie K, nestled on the former Kleber site. We weren't disappointed by the menu. Everything was delicious and refined, and the service was impeccable. A special mention to Marie, who brightened our day with her attentiveness and lovely smile.

20/01/2026: A truly unique restaurant in an industrial estate, located near the A31 motorway. A very warm welcome and a good menu du jour. They also provided an additional suggestion that sounded excellent. Definitely a place to remember if we're ever traveling through the area!

28/07/2026: This is my second year in Nice,that means a must go back to Pain & CIE, close to the beach,french vibes & tasty restaurant. Lovely variety ! Always start with a warm welcome from the staff members and making sure you enjoy your time, make little jokes, make you feel seen and interactive , a very positive, funny, very local & warm atmosphere. Thank you again for the good funny laughter we had through out my experience in your restaurant/bar. (Insider: El Padre thanks for the shoe! Haha)

25/07/2026: A very disappointing experience from start to finish. There were three of us, and we all had the same conclusion: the matcha drinks were simply undrinkable. We asked for them to be remade, but the new matcha came back with cow's milk, even though we had explicitly requested almond milk. Another rather telling moment: when we asked what a "ube latte" was, the waitress told us it was... violet syrup. A basic understanding of the products offered seems essential. The worst part was the staff's attitude: unfriendly, dismissive, and incapable of admitting their mistakes. Instead of taking responsibility for the problems, the explanations given were contradictory and unbelievable. When the bill arrived, we ended up paying for three out of four drinks, and without any exorbitant extra charge for the plant-based milk that was never in our drinks. Mistakes can happen, but the accumulation of errors, the lack of professionalism, and the staff's attitude made this a particularly unpleasant experience. We will not be returning. Avoid at all costs!

23/07/2026: What a shame! There's so much potential... Tonight I'm passing by at 9:15 PM, only 5 trucks in the parking lot. But the barrier is already down, they're not looking for customers, it seems... You need to stop being so defensive with the drivers, it doesn't please everyone... Why isn't the restaurant on Truckfly anymore? Apart from that, it's a shame, the staff are nice. The food is not bad, and the restrooms too.

14/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening in a beautiful setting. The meal lived up to our expectations, with exquisite dishes served with great elegance. The waiters were very professional and attentive to our satisfaction.

09/07/2026: Overall, we were satisfied with our visit to the distillery. The food was good, however, the service was a bit slow (40 minutes for our cocktails; 1 hour 30 minutes for our main courses).
