05/06/2026: A two-night stay at this very well-located hotel, perfect for exploring the area, as we did, partly using bicycles rented on-site. The welcome and service were top-notch, thank you! We appreciated the convenient on-site parking and the overall tranquility. There's a swimming pool if you'd like to stay in the hotel. Breakfast was very good. I highly recommend it.

25/05/2026: A beautiful, well-maintained garden. A few minor issues in the rooms (no light in the bathroom, toilet paper holder poorly attached, wall lights not working). We apologized when you explained that you had just taken over the property. The restaurant offered excellent food. The welcome was very friendly.

05/10/2026: Everything is great except for the stock management. No coffee today... a few days ago, no more Coke... these are basic items, easy to store and not really perishable... but it's hard to blame such a friendly team.

27/09/2026: Despite the late hour of our visit, we received a warm welcome. One of the saleswomen was well-versed in the 10-cent discount offer for coffee since we brought our own cups. Kudos to her, because often, except in the southwest, we have to explain this, and we've even had it refused in Normandy. When we're traveling, we always look for a "L'Ange" café for a coffee because the quality of the coffee, the bubbles, and the service are consistently excellent everywhere except in Normandy. Go there; their smiles are always guaranteed, and parking is always easy. It's truly two cherries on top.

24/04/2026: We discovered La Table de l'Alpaga during our stay in Megève, and everything was perfect. Delicate and flavorful dishes, a magnificent setting, and attentive service. We had a truly magical time.

22/02/2026: Undoubtedly an excellent restaurant, but I was still a little disappointed by the choice of dishes. A revisited onion soup, endives, beef, and vegetables in the style of a pot-au-feu—certainly extremely well-revisited and elegantly presented—but the ingredients were still simple. The staff was very attentive. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, which I had mentioned when making the reservation, and the chocolate plaque that accompanied our dessert was engraved with "Happy Wedding Anniversary"... what a shame...

06/08/2026: Evening meal on the terrace: High-quality regional cuisine. The forest-style cheese tart was a delight! Excellent value for money, efficient service with a smile every time. A wonderful evening...I'll be back!

31/07/2026: Fellow bikers, avoid this place on Sunday afternoons, especially if you're looking for a refreshing drink during a heatwave. They make absolutely no effort to serve you; there's no bar service whatsoever. So you have to eat, which is a shame and shows a real lack of professionalism. Perhaps hiring an extra person would help, but it wouldn't be as profitable.

20/04/2026: A very nice, quiet little hotel and restaurant with well-appointed rooms. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast is adequate, but don't hesitate to add some local charcuterie from the Berry region, even for an extra charge!

05/09/2026: We were delighted to host a family reunion in this charming house nestled in the peaceful Bourbonnais countryside, with such lovely and accommodating hosts. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We were able to have dinner in the evening, hold a video conference about our genealogy, sleep in, and have lunch the next day before everyone returned home. Everyone was thrilled with this short stay. The hosts are truly accommodating and charming. Thank you to them for making our reunion such a success. MC GUILLON

As for the setting, it is simply magnificent, peaceful, and ideal for relaxation. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will gladly return. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

For lunch: exquisite gratinated oysters—my friend and I had never eaten them before, and they were exquisite! Main course: seared tuna with a side of vegetables: everything was perfectly seasoned and expertly prepared! Bravo, everything is top-notch at Le Goéland!

17/09/2026: My sweetheart invited me to this surf and turf restaurant on the Mediterranean coast. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. It's a shame the service was so basic; we would have appreciated a reminder of our dishes and the ingredients they contained. But that didn't detract from the quality of the food. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The price, however, reflects the quality of the food and is quite high.

03/10/2026: The service was as friendly as a prison gate; not a smile, no welcome whatsoever. You literally feel like you're bothering them when you ask for something. The Pho (very small portion) and the Bo Bun weren't too bad, but not up to our standards, even though it was takeout.

15/07/2026: The waitresses were very friendly and pleasant, the food was decent, perhaps a little pricey for what it was? The chef wasn't there and had been replaced, I'll come back to form a second opinion ☺️ In any case, the atmosphere and setting are very pleasant; I think it must be great in the evening.
