27/06/2026: Great restaurant! I always get the same dish when I come, I'm so used to it that my egg-free Bolognese pizza is always ready when I arrive 🤣 Thank you for this loyalty, a real source of relaxation to recharge in the afternoon ☺️

08/06/2026: To be clear this place is busy all the time. This means that if you go prepared to wait a long time for food then you are in luck. Two stars does not reflect the waitress ans waiters just the delay. I.e. this is an afternoon or evening out and not somewhere for a quick bite. It has the right balance of price and quality. Menu in French and English. Visited 3 times over a weekend. Had Coquilles Saint Jacques. Moules Marinier. Steak (don't bother unless you get the fillet). Pork ribs. Really nice service and atmosphere. Puddings include wide variety if ice cream, dame blanche and banana splits! Kids had those but they looked delicious. 3 course menus between €21 and €26 although maybe a little more at weekends. Wine not included but lots of choices for half-bottles.

06/06/2026: A wonderful discovery. The setting is fantastic, with several spaces including small private rooms, and a terrace that must be lovely in good weather. The dishes are delicious and original.

14/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The carbonnade was excellent: tender meat, a rich and flavorful sauce, served with perfectly crispy fries and a fresh salad. The portions were generous and the presentation was lovely. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere friendly. I highly recommend it for a great meal with friends!

27/07/2026: I highly recommend this establishment. Firstly, the quality of the food is impeccable; secondly, the setting is absolutely charming. Nestled between shimmering ponds and rolling forests, it was truly magical to have lunch on the terrace. A delightful moment of pure enjoyment, savoring the beauty of the surroundings and the dishes, which were as delicious as they were beautifully presented. Be warned, the portions are very generous!

26/07/2026: A truly delightful stay at this inn by the thousand ponds. The decor is incredible, the terrace very pleasant, the manager very welcoming and friendly, and the food perfect. I highly recommend it.

27/05/2026: May 26: Deserted and not a soul in sight, no information either… it smells like a permanent closure!!! August 24: Not for breakfast despite the tables being in great locations and a clientele… fueled by rosé and white wine from 9 am, definitely deserving of its name :)!!! No croissants, no pain au chocolat, no toast… we're sent to the bakery 😅

13/07/2026: Passing through Thiers this Sunday, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from the team – friendly, polite, and smiling. The meat and blue cheese sauce were excellent. Thanks again! 👍

19/07/2026: We called reception to ask if there were any rooms available. The woman told us she only had large rooms left. In a burst of kindness, she offered us a lower price. Then she asked, "You're two men." We confirmed that we were. After that, she hung up immediately and didn't answer us again. In conclusion, don't come here with friends.

12/07/2026: We only spent one night at this hotel, but we will definitely return. Even though it looks a bit dated, the rooms are very nice, as is the kitchenette where you can make your own breakfast. Everything is very clean and very quiet. The welcome was very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

17/05/2026: Very disappointed with my afternoon snack. The waitress was unfriendly and not very efficient. The crepes were overcooked, dry, and too sweet. I do not recommend it.

28/04/2026: The restaurant is closed on weekends, so be aware! Breakfast is basic and sometimes not very fresh. The room was almost clean, but there was hair on the bed and the bathroom had mold. Otherwise, the receptionist was great! However, the room key was deactivated the very next morning, even though we could have stayed until noon.

26/04/2026: Our second stay was just as enjoyable. However, there were two minor issues. A broken ceiling tile in the room and the breakfast was poorly replenished (even though there were only eight of us in the restaurant, there were no more omelets, ham, sausages, sliced ​​cheese, oranges for juice, napkins, and an empty jam jar). During our first visit, the service had been impeccable. We won't hold it against them and will return, hoping it was just a temporary problem.

14/06/2026: The cheapest bar in Paris! Noisy but very friendly staff and great drinks... a place for young people, but older folks are very welcome too (and the glasses are glass! 👍)

21/07/2026: Beautiful and delicious ice cream sundaes, and the Elbo cocktail was excellent. The atmosphere on the harbor on a truly pleasant holiday evening was wonderful.

20/07/2026: Excellent experience, absolutely nothing to complain about regarding the quality of the meal, everything was delicious. A special mention for the pulled pork bun, perfectly cooked and excellent. It's rare to find restaurants with homemade fries, so that was a real plus. We highly recommend it, especially considering the great location.

26/05/2026: Friday at the Feria with colleagues. Drinks at the outdoor bar and lunch on the terrace. We had a great time chatting casually and laughing, accompanied by good bottles of Costières wine. Thanks to Sandrine and Nicolas for their hospitality. Three or four appetizers and three or four main courses to choose from, all well-prepared and reasonably priced.

14/07/2026: A restaurant opposite the small Barrême train station, a place that passing tourists will never know about unless curiosity leads them to this picturesque spot. They will then step back in time, able to sit at a table on the lovely shaded terrace, and perhaps, if they are romantic, they will perceive all the magic of this place. Marie-Jo will welcome you warmly. On Fridays, aioli is a must... But above all, don't forget to book!

15/05/2026: It's a place that's truly authentic. The owner has been at the helm for over 50 years. The menu features dishes made primarily with local ingredients. A pleasant location, undisturbed by the trains, which are expected to resume normal service at the end of the year.
