15/08/2026: You'd have to be hard to please not to love this restaurant. There's a set menu, as you know from the start. For us, everything was delicious and well-presented. Even though the waitress was working alone, she performed her duties brilliantly and professionally. Well done for providing such a great meal at a reasonable price. Even if, according to the chef, it was just a stroke of luck!

15/08/2026: The meal was very generous and a big hit, so 5 stars. The only downside was the service, which needs improvement.

05/09/2026: A great and nice restaurant, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the center of Die. Lovely terrace with plenty of shade. The service and the kitchen are efficient. You get generous portions, and both the burger and the caillette were very tasty. Note that they only serve lunch and no dinner, but that was fine for us. l’etape is worth a return visit.

07/10/2026: I haven't eaten a lot of baguettes while wandering around Paris, but among the ones I've tried, the ones here were the best. In particular, the baguette with grains embedded in it is really nutty and delicious even when eaten on its own. That japchae

28/09/2026: Yesterday, I went to your bakery, as usual, because I truly find your products excellent. The only thing I find regrettable concerns some of your employees who mock tourists by openly laughing in their faces when they speak French. I find this very rude and completely out of keeping with the image of your establishment, which is otherwise truly excellent!

27/09/2026: The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! I was with my son, and we hadn't booked a table. The indoor dining area was closed, but they kindly seated us both and served us quickly because we had a movie reservation for 9 pm. I highly recommend this place to everyone, and our mussels were absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh! I'll definitely be back, but I'll make a reservation next time 😉

08/10/2026: The place itself, frankly, isn't particularly impressive—the interior and atmosphere are rather simple. But the views are simply stunning, and that's what makes this place special. It was especially pleasant to spend time here during the day and enjoy the panorama. The service is a bit lacking—there are some areas that could be improved: more attention to guests and a little more efficiency. This place has potential if the service is improved.

07/10/2026: Excellent food, beautiful view of the Bay of Nice. One drawback: the service was slow and unprofessional. Our reservation had been made 15 days in advance, specifying the table location, but upon arrival, we were told it had been reserved inside. Fortunately, the rooftop table we wanted was available!

14/09/2026: Arrived for lunch but the host was unwelcoming. Doesn't look very clean. But location and view are great.

07/09/2026: What a disappointment… and above all, what a strange way to treat customers! We arrived at this outdoor café with our dog and, as if by chance, were told that the establishment was full and that seating was limited to 30 people. Yet, looking around, several tables were clearly available… It's hard not to think that the problem stemmed primarily from the presence of our dog. If animals aren't allowed, why not simply say so? We would have perfectly understood. But to claim the restaurant was "full" when there were still tables available is a particularly inelegant way of doing things. We would have preferred a simple "sorry, dogs are not allowed" rather than what sounds like a convenient excuse. This café aims to be welcoming, but seems to have a rather peculiar understanding of hospitality and transparency. We certainly won't be returning, and we will be sure to share this experience with others.

10/08/2026: Good food, a bit pricey. The establishment refuses to serve tap water. On the covered terrace, smokers can... smoke 🤷🤷🤷.

31/07/2026: A very beautiful and peaceful place that truly lives up to its name, as the terrace is magnificent.

24/02/2026: The food is of very high quality. So, a top-notch establishment. Regarding what I've read about dogs, people need to understand that seeing dogs urinate on the front of the building or on plants is rather annoying. It's simply a matter of training.

22/02/2026: I had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant and visiting it with my two sons during one of my trips to Paris. From the phone conversations to make the reservation, I understood that we were in for a unique, original, friendly, warm, and high-quality experience. When I learned that Prosper and Fortunée were Chef Eric's parents, I realized that this was also a place where family and culinary traditions were celebrated. He was the star, working alone in the open kitchen and serving, while I was there as a spectator with my children, who also appreciate excellent cuisine. For over three hours, we were immersed in a sensory, gustatory, and visual feast, a truly creative experience, sometimes inspired by Sète, sometimes by Japan, and always showcasing top-quality ingredients beautifully. The flavors, textures, presentations, cooking techniques, and sauces were truly exceptional. I lost count of the courses, but I think there were nine, and yet we left feeling full but light and happy to have experienced this intimate moment, outside of time and off the beaten path. I will be back.

24/10/2026: I was lucky enough to discover this restaurant. The setting is modern and original. The welcome was very warm. The dishes were generous and delicious! I had a wonderful evening. Thank you. There was also a fantastic musical evening! I will definitely be back! I 100% recommend this restaurant.

12/09/2026: Thank goodness they're not open often! Because when they are, the whole neighborhood knows! The place closes at 1:45 AM... give or take... And the neighbors joke about it from time to time. "Have a good weekend, well... as long as the place stays closed!" Because when it's open, it's hell trying to get any sleep past midnight. And from a legal standpoint, I'm not sure it's even legal... I should have a word with the police about it sometime soon! The nights are shorter, and if you have to work the next day, believe me, your eyes will be stinging! The place burned down a few years ago. Probably due to insurance fraud, and that was a good time! I'm telling you! Because no matter how good the place and its food might be, when you're a neighbor, you can't get to sleep until 2:00 AM! 😐 So I know some of you will take the easy way out and tell me, "Just live somewhere quieter!" But to those people, I say this: You don't move and change your life just because of a place and its clientele that make a racket at night! It's probably very pleasant when you're just passing through, although… As a customer, when I arrive at a certain hour, I know how to behave, and I don't scream like a banshee being slaughtered or laugh like a pack of rabid hens. I've known owners who knew how to manage their customers, who educated them to respect the neighborhood that wants to sleep, and poor France, in a sorry state, that has to work the next day. 🥲

14/06/2026: A wonderful discovery of this peaceful and pleasant place in a beautiful region. The warm welcome from the owners, the delicious meals, and the ambiance made us feel like we were staying with friends. We were delighted with our stay.

23/05/2026: We chose this inn for its amenities (set menu, swimming pool, waterfront location), its promising photos and reviews, but once there, we were very disappointed. Our reservation for the set menu on the first evening was forgotten, so we had to go out again for dinner. The swimming pool wasn't open, and the grounds were poorly maintained. Air fresheners were placed on every electrical outlet in the hallway to mask the damp smell of the building, and the rooms smelled musty. The couple who run the establishment are English; while he makes an effort to speak French, she doesn't, which severely limits communication.

15/10/2026: A four-course menu for €23, a three-course menu for €19. Drink prices are very reasonable. We had a very good meal; the presentation was lovely and the portions generous. Reservations are essential. Large free parking lot in front of the restaurant. The setting is pleasant, and the welcome was very friendly.

29/06/2026: As long-time customers, we ordered two identical plates, each containing three pieces of meat that were tough and full of gristle. We pointed this out to one of the cashiers, who told us, "You're not the first..." No apology, no gesture of goodwill... It's a shame; it doesn't make us want to come back.

16/08/2026: The welcome was unpleasant, haughty, bordering on insolent. Under the pretext that we were there for drinks with friends (even though it clearly says "bar bistro" in addition to "restaurant" on the storefront). The tone was set when they brought us the cheese board: "You have to buy something here, we have a business to run!" So, with that kind of welcome, it's clear we weren't going to order anything more! It's a shame, because the cocktails were really good. But the welcome... with a nonchalant waiter who insisted with a mocking air, "Still not hungry?", "So, did you eat well?". We were accused of taking up other customers' seats... with two empty tables (one of which was for four people...). In short... no, the average bill isn't €2.60 as the other place claimed in response to my friend's review, but rather €18. Four drinks for a total of €72, from 8 pm to 8:37 pm. In short, the apologies were welcome and appreciated at the end when we explained ourselves, but lying in response to reviews that don't align with yours is just as poorly received as the service itself!
