08/04/2026: I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. A very nice place; you can either order à la carte or choose from the buffet. The decor is modern and looks brand new. The terrace is pleasant, and the food is simple but delicious! The service is excellent, and the manager is incredibly welcoming! A great find in the Médoc!

30/05/2026: One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to served us Coca-Cola when we ordered Coca-Cola Zero. It only arrived 35 minutes after we ordered, and they said the fryer was broken. Why couldn't they have served us sooner?

22/05/2026: The chef himself ran the entire place. He was very kind and you could tell he loved this place. The food was delicious, the steaks were first-rate – and the side dishes were also lovely.

15/07/2026: We ate with five friends; they all received their meals, but I had to wait over an hour for a pasta dish, and when it was finally brought to me, the waiter Dimitri was disrespectful and took it away. The portions were ridiculously small. Shameful; I definitely do not recommend it.

15/07/2026: Unfortunately, both the service and the food were truly awful. We ordered the salmon, which was completely raw, and the potatoes as a side dish were tiny and had apparently been sitting in the pan for quite some time. Absolutely not recommended.

Having known the restaurant for a while, you shouldn't be in a hurry to eat there. Avoid this place; there are other restaurants nearby that deserve to earn a better living.

04/12/2025: Maison Vérot is, of course, a benchmark for gastronomic quality. I particularly love their catering service: impeccable seasoning, perfectly cooked dishes, even when reheated at home. The result is a meal that surpasses many Parisian brasseries, even if it's reheated at home! But above all, Vérot is a true neighborhood institution, thanks to its exceptional service. They care for our elders, watch our children grow up, and are there for us through life's milestones: a duck, fig, and foie gras pâté en croûte to celebrate a special occasion, a Mother's Day menu, a comforting dish delivered to a loved one... A model neighborhood business with a team that puts their heart and soul into their work! Bravo and thank you!

12/11/2025: I visited with high expectations and was quite disappointed. The promise is grand, but it's not fulfilled at this price point. The foie gras (homemade terrine) was overcooked, barely cooked, and lacked flavor. The pâtés en croûte were also really bland—they lacked spices, aromas, and any real zing! The crust wasn't crispy… The slices were cut too thick—yes, they had asked me if that was the right thickness—as if to inflate the bill. In short, I'll stick with Arnaud Nicolas's pâté en croûte.

30/06/2026: Excellent fast food in Île Rousse, offering hamburgers, sandwiches, and Caesar salads at affordable prices. Friendly staff and air conditioning for when it's 40 degrees outside. Generous Caesar salad.

16/05/2026: Polite and welcoming waiter, generous portions and very affordable prices, clean restrooms. Nothing to complain about, a very good place. 👍

24/07/2026: A warm welcome. Quick and perfect service. We ordered the pho set menu and it was very generous. Just one dish would have been enough. It was delicious. I recommend it. Thank you ☺️

02/07/2026: A lovely, quiet restaurant with delicious food at a good price. We had a stone-baked pizza, which was generously topped and served very quickly. Pleasant atmosphere. Choose between a large, air-conditioned interior or a terrace. Takeaway is also available. Reservations weren't necessary during the French off-season.

14/06/2026: Three of us arrived at 7:15 PM, ordered three pizzas, and they were served at 8:15 PM... an hour for three pizzas... all that time for two of them to be completely burnt... one and a half waitresses for a full terrace... They were overwhelmed. I can understand the waitressing, but it clearly indicates a lack of staff. Furthermore, the owners weren't there. It was a holiday weekend, go figure... With all that, I'm not sure I'll go back. They definitely need to improve the quality and service.

17/07/2026: The products looked nice, but the taste was completely disappointing. The marbled cake was bland and hard. The cheese and vegetable sandwich was hard and tasteless. A real letdown. Once again, you can't judge a book by its cover... What a shame!

10/07/2026: A lovely bakery in a great location (opposite the Collège de France and in the heart of the Latin Quarter). In addition to classic options (sandwiches, wraps, salads), they offer daily changing lunch specials, including coffee or a glass of wine. You can enjoy the terrace or the very pleasant air-conditioned dining room, which has power outlets and restrooms. Note, however, that prices are typical of Paris, and there's a €1 surcharge on each item if you eat in. A great spot in the neighborhood.

25/01/2026: The hotel has just been bought. They sold the furniture, linens, and dishes. We'll see what happens to it...

16/11/2025: A lovely restaurant right next to the stage, offering two classic but good set menus served by a charming gentleman who took excellent care of us. We had a very pleasant evening.

15/07/2026: Unfriendly waiters, no generosity with the drink accompaniments (peanuts) despite a large table, €10 minimum for credit card payments. Walk another 50 meters to find much more welcoming bars!

11/07/2026: We went as part of an after-party and the servers were running around like crazy... the organization needs improvement... the server was friendly but overwhelmed. We were also poorly seated... avoid the virgin mojito as it's just sparkling water with mint...

11/05/2026: I'm an old-timer; I love the sound of machines, the coins dropping. Here, everything is virtual currency, except for the bills you insert into the machine. Nice casino, but the machines aren't for me, except of course for the gaming tables. 😀
