Industrial-style stuffed veal roll, tasteless; undercooked fries; three measly slices of bread; not to mention the butter for the cheese; sharp Gruyère; dessert cream, more like gelatin, tasteless. Coffee was okay. Service and welcome were very good.

03/10/2026: This is my second visit, and the owner and staff are always smiling and attentive to customers.
The owner is very friendly, and the seats are very comfortable. I will definitely return and will even invite friends because the place is pleasant and ideal for meeting up and chatting, away from the hustle and bustle.

18/10/2026: The setting is beautiful, but the managers are clearly trying to maximize profits (wobbly tables, negotiating to keep the heating above 18°C, requiring everyone to take their trash home after the event, substandard electrical wiring, etc.).
Furthermore, the venue is in dispute with the neighbors and the town hall due to disturbances (noise, parking, etc.). The mayor called me during the reception.

This venue is simply exceptional: the setting is magnificent and possesses all the Alsatian charm we love.

14/09/2026: The welcome wasn't very friendly when the manager told me I had a dog and that there was carpet in the room. Yes, the carpet was stained when we arrived. The shower cubicle had mold. We didn't sleep a wink because the room was so hot we had to open the window, and we spent all night counting trucks. Dinner was okay.
22/08/2026: A meal "just like home." Soup, starter, main course, cheese, and dessert for 16 euros on a Saturday lunchtime—that's quite rare.
We arrived late, and the chef accepted us, but without a set menu. We weren't disappointed.

04/07/2026: The tarte flambée tasted like frozen pie.
The staff at the counter were incredibly slow; they wouldn't even cut our pies because they were already in the box (as if it were difficult to open).
We asked the person at the counter questions, but she didn't even answer us.

The decor isn't particularly welcoming. The food is simple but perfectly acceptable. The dining room is of average size... reservations are recommended.
07/09/2026: I used Clos Mutaut as my on-site caterer for a corporate event. They were very responsive, proactive, and always accommodating. Their suggestions were perfectly suited to my needs and the food was delicious. I highly recommend Clos Mutaut for all your events.
