14/07/2026: A rip-off, exorbitant price and not good at all!!! Salad swimming in sauce, questionable chicken: 60 euros for 2 salads, 1 coke and 1 glass of wine, we didn't eat anything: the owner offered us a free dessert… no sir, we either offer the salad for free, or we offer to make it again.

18/07/2026: I really don't understand some of the reviews that describe the owner as cold or unwelcoming. We experienced the complete opposite! He took the time to chat with us, we talked about our travels, and we had a wonderful time. He even shared lots of great tips and valuable advice. It was a lovely encounter that greatly contributed to making our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness; we will gladly return!

09/07/2026: An exemplary restaurant! I stopped there for the first time during a business trip and ate one of the best ribeye steaks of my life... I went back the next day with a more substantial meal, and it was indeed very high-quality meat, better than some of the fine dining establishments I've been to. 10/5, nothing to complain about, I'll be back! 👌🏅

24/07/2026: Suitable for a truck driver in an industrial area.

16/07/2026: The food was good, but we had to wait an hour and a half. If the waitress had been pleasant and polite, it might have made the wait more bearable, but that's not what happened. We also had to wait 40 minutes for a Perrier with lemon. There were only two of them, which could explain the wait, but in that case, they should inform the customer politely with a smile; it's much better. We also had to move the table ourselves because there were three of us, not two. Therefore, I don't recommend it.

31/05/2026: A bakery that listens to customer feedback and takes action. I worked with Nicole at La Panetière a while ago, and while not all the products are homemade, a large portion now are. They've even installed a slicer, which is fantastic! I want to emphasize that Nicole and the rest of the team are helpful and friendly. A personal recommendation: try the vanilla custard tart! 04/05/2026: DON'T PUT YOUR LAST HOPES ON THIS BAKERY... This is the fifth time I've found the door closed with a message saying "back in 2 min." Having already waited 10 minutes only to see no one arrive, today, Monday, May 4th at 2:30 PM, I decided not to wait. It's appalling for a business not to respect its advertised hours!

02/05/2026: I came to do some shopping this afternoon and went to the self-checkout for my pre-made baskets. I started scanning my zero-waste items. It got stuck on each item, so I called the cashier over, saying "please." I don't think I was being aggressive towards anyone. She came over and started yelling at me, saying, "Don't be aggressive, there's no need to shout, we can see with the light." Surprised, I told her, "I didn't attack you, so please be polite." The supervisor was right next to me. Since when does an employee have the right to be aggressive towards a customer who simply said "please"? I'll even describe her: she's of Indian origin. I wasn't aggressive at any point! Good luck to the department managers!

02/05/2026: I'm only giving one star so my comment gets seen and taken into consideration. There's a children's play area opposite the Etam lingerie store. I find it surprising that there's an Etam advertising screen inside the store, directly facing the play area, where we can see women in bras and very sexy lace outfits... I find this very inappropriate and disturbing. Perhaps you could consider doing something about it... I'm an early childhood professional, and I've noticed that practically every child playing in this area has their eyes on this screen. All this sexualization bothers me, and apparently no one else finds it problematic... It's a real shame that adults are losing sight of the importance of protecting children.

14/07/2026: Very disappointed. I ordered a piña kebab, but it wasn't kebab meat; it was something else entirely. It wasn't good at all. The dough was okay, that's all! My mother ordered one with snails, and two-thirds of them were floating around. My mother didn't like it. Furthermore, as soon as we sat down, the waitress asked us if we had chosen our order. "Uh, no, we just sat down," I replied. The waiter, although friendly, kept coming over to ask if we were finished. Seriously! It used to be good, but honestly, I'm very, very disappointed.

03/06/2026: Great time..Cool atmosphere. Top notch cuisine..

20/06/2026: The guest rooms are very clean, and we slept extremely well. The delicatessen has excellent quality Corsican products. The couple is welcoming, and breakfast was more than perfect, with exceptional jam. The parking is very accessible, and the jacuzzi is huge and relaxing. I recommend it on behalf of the three colleagues whose car got a flat tire... you'll know who we are.

03/04/2026: The room was outdated, damp, and to top it all off, Charlie's reception was appalling! What a shame to tarnish the image of such a beautiful island; avoid Cala Rossa. And unfortunately, any complaints have to be made through Google, because when there's a problem, Charlie prefers to simply ignore them.

25/07/2026: At Hortense's, everything is mediocre except for the view (which is the same in any restaurant on the Bassin d'Arcachon). Between the canteen-style tables, the greasy and decidedly unlocal cuisine (look at the origins...), the exorbitant bill considering the quality, and the service worthy of a Louis de Funès film, you'd be wise to go elsewhere.

07/07/2026: This is the last time I'm coming! The waiters and waitresses don't realize what they're doing and are more interested in watching what's happening on their own terrace than what's happening on the street!

06/07/2026: Once again, we spent 15 minutes on the terrace, saw three waiters or waitresses, and none of them came to take our order. A quick glance and... nothing. You should pay attention to this recurring problem, which is mentioned in many reviews of your establishment.

23/07/2026: DON'T BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. Don't believe me? Think I'm exaggerating? Before you order, Go to use the bathroom and look at the kitchen and see if you want to put that food in your mouth, stomach and intestines. Unbelievably bad place. AVOID. You're better off going hungry. They admitted to pasta cooked the day before. THEY THINK IT'S NORMAL TO SERVE LEFTOVER PASTA FOR LUNCH. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Worst food I've ever had in France. The waitress was very nice. We only paid for the drinks which was fair since I have leftovers in my fridge back home that are probably. fresher. Oh and the kitchen is filthy and my wife saw one of the cooks drop a knife on the floor and just pick it up and use it without washing it while she was taking my son to the bathroom.

14/07/2026: The location right on the water with a pleasant, cool breeze was lovely. We received a warm welcome, with smiles and a friendly, unpretentious atmosphere. The food was good and plentiful, and the prices were quite reasonable.
