25/09/2026: Excellent value for money! The calf's head was very well cooked and the waitress was fantastic! I highly recommend it!

05/09/2026: The service was poor; the peanuts were reserved for bar customers, and there was no choice of food other than what the waitress suggested (no menu). It was Saturday, and supposedly the price was higher than during the week, but there was no more choice. Very, very, very disappointed... I will not recommend it to any of my friends. Over 60 euros for two people: salad, a slice of pâté, a slice of pancetta, and a slice of cured ham for the starter. A slice of cooked ham and about ten frog legs with potato gratin (dauphinois). No choice of side dishes for the main courses. A slice of fig tart and a crème brûlée for dessert. We didn't know if they had cheese... we weren't offered anything. A glass of Communard and a mint water. I gave it one star, otherwise I can't publish it.

23/09/2026: A wonderful discovery today. The food was excellent, the waitress was smiling and friendly, and the service was quick – what more could you ask for? I will definitely be back.

14/07/2026: Fantastic experience. The waiter was incredibly attentive and genuinely kind, which was a nice change. We had a wonderful meal; the fried carp was delicious and perfectly crispy. The foie gras was excellent, and the onion compote with raspberry vinegar was superb! In short, everything was perfect. Thank you so much!

24/06/2026: Very simple but a little gem with a room overlooking the Allier River. Good breakfast. The hotel also has a restaurant with a sheltered outdoor terrace in summer.

09/09/2026: My croque monsieur was burnt, as was my gizzard salad; the gizzards had stuck to the pan or grill and tasted like everything but gizzards.

04/04/2026: While the products are very good, the Caen store is rather small, making it difficult to move around when there are several customers. It's very unpleasant to be told "can I help you?" after only five seconds in the store.

22/09/2026: Twenty years later, the restaurant has changed a lot! It's no longer the Relais de Beaufort of yesteryear! Expensive for mediocre food. What a shame… You'll eat much better elsewhere.

30/09/2026: The restaurant is well located; it's lovely to eat while looking at the sea. 🌊 However, I found the prices a bit high. The meals were good but barely lukewarm, 🍔🥗🍲🍝🍴 and some of the cutlery wasn't clean. The waiters were friendly, however, one of them took the liberty of asking me to put down my phone when I was taking pictures of my food 🤨 (my first reaction was: what's it to you? Isn't it forbidden to have a phone? 😄 Since I was with family, I refrained). Personally, I like to see in the reviews what the dishes offered in a restaurant actually look like...
