02/07/2026: The waiters and waitresses were very courteous. I recommend them.

01/07/2026: If you want friendliness, go to the corner shop; you'll find it there. Except for the young man, who must be the owner, who is much friendlier than the lady and the other gentleman. Reasonable prices. When we bought scratch-off tickets for €30, I felt like I was bothering the gentleman with his boxes.

18/06/2026: Appalling service. The welcome was icy cold, so much so that even with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius outside, we were almost freezing upon entering. We honestly wondered if we were walking into a bar or a prison. Then came the moment when, in the middle of a heatwave, we simply asked for a carafe of water. The waiter's response: "We're in Paris here, madam. Do you think you can fool me? If you're not happy, you can just leave. Have a good evening." So, the waiter's own advice: don't come, ladies and gentlemen, you're not welcome. As a reminder, restaurants are legally obligated to provide water when requested.

03/07/2026: I strongly advise against the tartare, which was just a cheap, squashed hamburger. The wrap was missing half of it, and I won't even mention the service. The waiter was filthy, stinky, and scratched his hair before serving you. And when it came time for dessert, well, there was no dessert because the waiter was eating something surreal. The toilets were so bad you could catch tetanus!

25/06/2026: They refused to prepare a takeaway meal for a disabled person, even though doggy bags are mandatory. Shame on you!

14/07/2026: I came this Sunday, July 12th, for the Gayant parade. It was a sad experience choosing this café for a drink. A group of badly beaten men were harassing the customers, hurling insults and using filth (blowing their noses with their fingers right behind customers) without any real intervention from the staff. Apparently, they were regulars. It's a really bad crowd. I strongly advise against going there, especially given the hygiene of the tables.

28/05/2026: It's a nightmare buying cigarettes on Sundays; there's a queue at peak times.

10/07/2026: I don't like it much anymore because the prices have gotten higher and the quality of the pastries has gone down. The Paris-Brest pastries aren't the same anymore, the trompe-l'oeil cakes have no taste, and the viennoiseries are overcooked...it's a shame because of the change of pastry chef, so go to Rue Blanche instead.

24/07/2026: French pastries and a great atmosphere. There is a large selection of French pastries that look delicate and delicious. The ones we had tasted really good.

22/07/2026: A man was standing in line to pay for two drinks, while eight people behind him who had ordered bread were being paid before him. When he politely inquired about this, he received a rude reply. Very impolite staff.

10/05/2026: We went to this restaurant two years ago and it was fantastic, a real gourmet establishment. This year we booked for a birthday. The food was inedible. There were 14 of us, and half the table didn't finish their plates. We were VERY disappointed. My lasagna was burnt, and what's more, none of the dishes were salty; we had to add salt to everything. The chicken was like the chicken you get in a school cafeteria. The duck breast was served with whole potatoes, no salt or pepper, just tossed in the oven. The prices, however, were the same as before, even though the quality is incredibly low (around 50 euros per person). You don't eat like that in a budget brasserie. The non-alcoholic cocktails, which were supposed to have mint instead of basil, were served without mint; they just tasted like mixed fruit juice (but they were 9 euros a glass). I'm attaching a photo of my unfinished lasagna. You can compare this to the previous photos; the presentation of the dishes was really good. Unfortunately, we won't be going back.

25/04/2026: A welcome reopening. The menu is very (too) meat-oriented; the lack of snacks and fish options is a shame. The waitstaff (who are lovely!) are sometimes few in number and have to rush to keep up with service. The manager occasionally lent a hand, but only slightly. So, expect some delays. A quality lunch nonetheless.

25/05/2026: We had a fantastic stay, perfect and enjoyable. The owner is wonderful, and the amazing Fany served us with kindness, responsiveness, and intelligence. There were 30 of us, and we truly felt like family. Not forgetting the chef, who is a culinary virtuoso! We left with 2 kg more, hahaha. Thank you so much, and see you very soon! Estelle

08/05/2026: We arrived today, May 8th, 2026, at approximately 3 PM to stay two nights. The place appears to be closed. Everything is locked, nothing to see. There's no information about opening hours online. If I'm mistaken, I'll of course retract the one star, since you have to rate something with "at least one star"... There's probably no point in going there right now...

20/12/2025: While looking for a local spot away from the tourist traps, I found La Suite, and what a delightful surprise. The colorful, inviting interior felt like stepping into someone’s warm, welcoming home. The lunch menu was fantastic. I had the split pea soup, which was rich and comforting, followed by beautifully seasoned eggplant caviar paired with a great glass of wine recommended by the staff. French, English and a little Spanish is spoken. For dessert, the chocolate coulant cake was absolutely heavenly, warm, decadent, and perfectly gooey in the center. La Suite is exactly the kind of authentic, heartfelt restaurant you hope to find when traveling. I left feeling genuinely nourished and can’t wait to come back someday. If you’re in Perpignan and want a meal that feels like home, this little gem is a must visit.

08/11/2025: An unusual restaurant with Mediterranean flair. Simple and delicious dishes in a warm atmosphere.

28/12/2025: The lady was super kind and nice, and the hotel in general was good. The room was big enough and clean, and there is a backyard where you can park your car. There were two small things we didn’t like, however: 1. Since it is a pet-friendly hotel, you may sometimes hear dogs barking during the night. 2. There was no trash bin in the toilet, and the toilet and bathroom were separate, which was a bit inconvenient.

11/12/2025: I went to lunch at the Notre Dame restaurant and ordered a Bibelesskas. I was frankly disappointed; it was just a small bowl of potatoes, two pieces of ham that were mostly fat, and two pieces of Black Forest cake. It's 5 PM and I'm already cooking because I'm so hungry. A dish like this should be much more substantial.

28/05/2026: A nasty surprise, as my experience was nothing like the reviews! Neither the food nor the service was good. My photo speaks for itself... It's a shame we can't give less than one star. Avoid!

16/06/2026: Review: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ We had booked in advance for 7 people, which made for a nice little table. We chose to be seated inside. The restaurant has a lovely dining room with pleasant decor, but despite our reservation and the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated in the entrance area, a high-traffic zone. This wasn't very comfortable, and we couldn't fully appreciate the restaurant's ambiance. The welcome was pleasant, and the staff courteous. However, several things disappointed us. First, our aperitif was served without any accompaniments: no amuse-bouche, not even a small ramekin of savory biscuits. Upon arrival, we were also informed that the chicken supreme from the €29 set menu was no longer available, with no alternative offered. We therefore opted for the à la carte menu, which was rather limited and less appealing, as the higher-priced set menu was more expensive. We ordered five ham hocks with Munster sauce and two other dishes. A few minutes after placing our order, we were told that only two of the five ham hocks were left. We therefore had to choose the duck breast option offered instead, at the same price. Finally, the "gourmet coffee" turned out to be very basic considering the price. In the end, we found the value for money disappointing, with a limited selection and rather small portions. It's a shame, because the dishes served were actually good. This series of disappointments nevertheless spoiled part of our experience.

10/07/2026: Stopped here for a Vendôme sandwich during the canicule and I absolutely loved it. Fresh baguette, tasty saucissons and delicious cheese: the magic is in the simplicity. The service was warm and friendly. The air conditioning was the real hero of the visit, providing much needed relief from the 38°C heat outside. Great spot to cool down and enjoy an authentic French style sandwich.

10/07/2026: When I went in today, I was roughly shoved by an employee (a young blond man). No "sorry" or anything; he just kept walking without looking back. The cashier at the back took my payment, and I asked for a bag (with everything I'd bought). She gave it to me and said it was normally an extra charge. I told her I didn't know that, that she hadn't told me beforehand, otherwise I would have asked. She then made me pay 10 cents for the bag by card, looking annoyed because she didn't like my answer. Knowing that I'd been given one for free the day before, I thought the bags were free. A real lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. Avoid this bakery! It's a shame you've lost a customer who's just been transferred to a nearby location…

18/06/2026: Excellent service, attentive and very helpful staff, with a real passion for their craft and a genuine desire to do things well. Kudos to the pastry chef, who clearly knows her stuff. A place I highly recommend.
