05/07/2026: Good restaurant, good food, good atmosphere. It's a shame we had the unpleasant surprise of being charged an extra €13 per person for the live music without being informed before the bill. We had made a reservation, and there was no mention of this extra charge at reception or when we booked.

13/05/2026: A few years ago, this was a truly wonderful place. Today, it's clear they've lost their way and don't know how to retain their clientele. There's no consistency in their menu. I think they're completely off track with their culinary approach. Go back to good, healthy, classic food. It's a shame they don't restore the waterwheels.

28/12/2025: It has been almost four months since my first visit to Atome. Yes — this is that type of place, where you have such a phenomenal experience that it keeps coming back to your mind long after you leave. And this place is unique for many reasons: 1. Everything is intentional Everything is well thought out — from the incredible locally sourced food, to the one-of-a-kind wine selection, and even the music. Nothing feels random. 2. People come first This is a place where you connect, learn, and have fun with other tables. Wine is not treated as a beverage, but as a portrait — an extension of the people who worked so hard to make it. 3. Generosity Aline and Eric are incredibly knowledgeable and endlessly generous in sharing experiences, stories, and special moments. 4. A masterclass in hosting I’ve never seen better hosts. From orchestrating the wines, to the music, to thoughtfully placing guests together — everything feels natural and perfectly timed. A special shout-out to Anaïs as well — extremely knowledgeable and generous, sharing many resources that helped me continue advancing on my wine journey. Bravo. I can’t wait to come back. 26/06/2026: We had a lovely time at this brasserie, where the quality-price ratio is very good. Simple and satisfying dishes, served very quickly, and the servers are both efficient and friendly. There's a large outdoor terrace. I recommend it for a good and quick meal.

19/06/2026: A pleasant, refreshing break with a delicious ice cream sundae on the terrace. However, the prices are very high. It's a Carrefour in Chalon, not by the sea.

17/03/2026: We spent one night at the Hôtel L’Ermitage, and frankly, the current 3.9/5 rating on Google doesn't reflect our experience. We had booked the Belvédère room, which offers an absolutely incredible view of the Monts d’Or and Lyon. The setting is calm, peaceful, and truly magnificent—a real haven of tranquility. Upon arrival, we had a drink on the restaurant terrace, bathed in sunshine: a very pleasant way to start our stay. We then had the relaxation area to ourselves, allowing us to truly unwind, exactly what we were looking for. In the evening, we dined at the hotel restaurant: excellent cuisine, discreet and pleasant service. We had a wonderful evening. The next morning, breakfast was a very pleasant surprise: a well-organized buffet with a high-quality savory selection (which is quite rare and worth mentioning), featuring organic and seasonal products. The desserts were also excellent: pastries, delicious bread, praline brioche, organic products, and a superb homemade pear compote. We were able to enjoy the relaxation area one last time before our departure. The early check-out before noon is a real plus, allowing you to fully enjoy the morning. Of course, having a professional eye for the restaurant industry ourselves, we noticed a few imperfections, particularly regarding the cleanliness of the relaxation area (chewing gum and hair were found on the edge of the jacuzzi upon our arrival, and these hadn't been cleaned up by our departure). The facilities also show some signs of age. However, this didn't spoil our stay in any way. The staff was lovely from beginning to end, and the overall experience remains very positive. We loved our stay, so kudos to the team, and we will most likely be back next month.

14/03/2026: Quite disappointed by this otherwise well-known hotel. The reception wasn't very welcoming; the person was on the phone for at least five minutes without telling us they'd be there in a few minutes. The room was nice enough, but the floor wasn't clean, there was only one large towel for two people, and no phone to contact reception. The pool is tiny, with just two sun loungers practically next to each other, water everywhere, and no one to even mop it up. The spa was very nice! Breakfast was very good with a magnificent view, but forget about a friendly welcome and a smile from the staff—they must not be paid for that! Would I recommend it? No! There are so many better options elsewhere for the same price.

09/01/2026: Perfect bakery and pastry shop. Everything is delicious: the bread, the pastries—they have raisin bread, chocolate brioches with a blend of old-fashioned and modern flavors, and very generous portions... The olive oil bread is superb... The brioche des rois and the frangipane galette are top-notch. The cakes are also very generously portioned. All this at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. My only regret is that it's not in my neighborhood, but I go there as often as I can.

05/07/2026: We went there after a concert to watch the World Cup round of 16 match. The bouncer warned us he'd only let us through the first half. Very efficient service at sending €14 beers, but just as efficient at stopping the match at 40 minutes and clapping to herd us out like cattle.

21/06/2026: Ideally located next to the Stade de France. They seated us on the terrace opposite the stadium. Quieter, outdoors, but very hot. Too hot considering the oppressive heat of Thursday, June 18th. The food, for me, was bland; the chicken salad was frankly tasteless. Outside the restaurant on the stadium side, there was a cacophonous and unbearable battle of DJs playing music. THIS MUST BE REGULATED!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

09/04/2026: Passing through Turini, we made a quick stop at the Hôtel Restaurant des 3 Vallées for a drink and to enjoy the rally museum. The drink quickly turned into a meal, as the staff were so friendly and welcoming. A truly wonderful time in this legendary place. Thank you to them!

05/07/2026: The atmosphere is festive and welcoming, with real energy throughout the evening. The staff is friendly, and overall it's a great place to spend time with friends over drinks. However, it can get quite crowded, and the atmosphere can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming or anxiety-inducing. Despite this, it's a good place that I recommend.

15/02/2026: My husband and I came for our second Valentine's Day. It was a truly delightful experience, filled with sweetness, flavor, and generosity. As we were leaving, the manager told us we were the last customers before the restaurant closed. This touched us deeply and I think it will stay with us for a very long time. Thank you to this restaurant for making this dinner such a wonderful memory. 🙌 And a special mention to the owners: you managed to convey your generosity and love through the food and the memories we will cherish. 🩷

04/02/2026: Flexible regarding arrival time (we informed them of our delay and the manager didn't hold it against us). Charming, rather intimate setting. Quick and efficient service. Good food but relatively expensive. Value for money 3/5. Friendly welcome. Clean restrooms. Extensive wine list. We had a pleasant time.

28/06/2026: I'm forced to give it one star, but the experience in this dump of a hotel was more like zero. Upon arrival, the door was locked and there was no one to greet us. A sign on the door asked us to call a number on WhatsApp, and a guest finally opened it for us. A key with our name and room number was left in front of reception. When we entered the room, we were shocked to find it hadn't been cleaned: the previous guest's sheets were crumpled, and there were piles of laundry on the floor. We called the number on the door, and the unashamed person told us to choose another key at the hotel entrance—unbelievable! So we went to the second room and discovered a squalid room: stained carpet, an old-fashioned blanket riddled with cigarette burns or something similar, a bed made with questionable sheets, and a horrible smell of stale tobacco. The bathroom wasn't any better: very dilapidated, a dirty sink, and urine in the toilet! It was impossible for us to sleep in that room, so we left immediately without staying there. After several months of correspondence with the owners and promises of refunds, we realized that this hotel is a well-orchestrated scam!

26/06/2026: We had been here before but had a terrible experience, so we wanted to give it a second chance 😱😱 which was just as bad. We ordered an inedible andouillette sausage that tasted like it had been reheated, and the fries were cold. Avoid this place at all costs; it's not real food.

26/06/2026: Having the boss examined, as muscular as he is unpleasant, is completely crazy. To speak to employees and customers like that, you have to be sick, especially in the restaurant business. Perhaps the excess of dietary supplements and the products he takes to build muscle have made him this way, or perhaps the nutrients are no longer going to his brain but only to his muscles (besides, his musculature seems very unnatural to me, and we know that people on performance-enhancing drugs tend to be very irritable, but I'm not accusing him of anything, it's just a hypothesis). In any case, dear reader, if you don't want to have a very bad experience, go elsewhere and go to McDonald's across the street; you won't be as disappointed as you were at Flunch.
