09/06/2026: Our first vacation in almost 10 years, we chose this hotel on the Alsace Wine Route, and despite the weather, we loved the area. As for the hotel itself, with its regional decor, we can only echo the rave reviews: a warm welcome, a cozy room with a view of the vineyards and Haut-Kœnigsberg. The home-style cooking was perfect. Congratulations to both the chefs and the attentive waiters. Having returned two days ago, we've already recommended this hotel to two other families.

07/06/2026: A very nice hotel with a view of Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle from the room. The room was lovely and very clean, the set menu was excellent, and the breakfast was generous. The staff were professional and approachable. The owner was friendly and took the time to visit each table and chat with the guests. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

18/09/2025: A spontaneous stop at this restaurant in Moret. A short menu, but full of surprises. Fusion cuisine with global influences, but unpretentious. Pleasant service, lovely terrace. Set menu and daily specials.

10/11/2025: Thank you to the restaurant owners for their warm welcome and kindness; as we say back home, they treated us to a wonderful meal. I highly recommend the cheese selection, especially the crème brûlée—wow, excellent! High-quality products, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back.

14/03/2026: Stoped en route to alps, easy parking, late check in and we were given a code, and the lady waited for us. Room was clean, comfortable bed, furniture and fittings (bathroom) a bit dated but all worked and was warm. Lovely old town with lots of nice shops and eateries. This is our second visit and we will return Family of three adults For a two star hotel this was perfect

04/03/2026: We came for lunch as a family. The starters were good. As for the main courses, some seemed a bit dry or too fatty, especially the foie gras, which had more fat than meat. The beef Rossini with foie gras was excellent. However, the dishes were served lukewarm, and some side dishes were missing, or they didn't arrive at the same time, which made the plates get cold. The chocolate mousse and the pavlova were excellent! The service was good. On the other hand, the lack of background music was a bit of a shame.

18/08/2026: We hired Lion d'Or for our wedding reception and dinner. The service was flawlessly executed. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The team was efficient and helpful. Thank you again to you and your team!

21/07/2026: The only positive point: the reception staff. For over €110 a night (without breakfast), the service is unacceptable. The room is in the attic where the heat is unbearable; only a small €10 fan is provided. The bathtub is under a sloping ceiling, leaving you with barely 50cm of space to take a shower. The TV works intermittently. The exterior metal shutter is completely rusted and unusable. The floorboards creak everywhere. As an option, you can rent a closed garage (the reason I stayed at this hotel). For €18 a night, the garages are 200m from the hotel, with wooden doors dating back to the 1960s... a simple kick would be enough to open them... Avoid at all costs. I've stayed in hotels costing €50-60 a night that offered far more comfort and service. And this is in the Creuse region, so the price is completely unjustified.

26/06/2026: First visit since the change of ownership. A "hello" wasn't exactly customary at Françoise's, as everyone knew. It's a shame the two new young owners haven't brought this magic word back into fashion. Even when you arrive with your hands full. Is this a cursed place for saying hello with a smile? Otherwise, two of the three waitresses are smiling and friendly. Given the choice between two places serving coffee for €1.50, which do you think you'd go to? With or without a smile?

20/04/2026: By far my favorite café in Avignon! A very warm atmosphere, ideal for getting some work done, with delicious pastries of course ;) Update 4 years later: A landmark is closing… we'll miss you.

26/11/2025: A very bad experience at La Caverne des Artistes. The galettes and crêpes are clearly lacking in quality: soggy batter, often low-end and tasteless fillings—one wonders if the ingredients come from a discount wholesaler rather than a real chef. The prices are high—absolutely no value for money. The service is appalling when the restaurant is finally open; the welcome needs improvement, and you can't rely on either the menu or the advertised opening hours. As it stands, I strongly advise against going: it's best to avoid it altogether.

02/08/2026: Everything is very fresh, the store is always clean. The staff is always friendly. The food prepared on-site is of good quality. The prices are reasonable.

08/10/2026: Good brasserie, a bit pricey though for a quick lunch; expect to pay €25-30, which isn't really commensurate with the quality of the food. Qualified and pleasant staff.

03/10/2026: Two similar experiences at this restaurant. Poor organization in the dining room with a very long wait for orders, a very long wait at the till, a goat cheese salad for 19 euros that consisted of a plate piled high with green salad, a few cherry tomatoes, and bacon bits, and an unfriendly owner who reprimanded his staff in front of customers. A shame, because the establishment and location are really nice.
