09/05/2026: Visited early on a Saturday morning in our first day in Bordeaux. Greeted with a friendly smile from the staff and enjoyed a nice conversation in my broken French and English. Almond croissants were delish, as was the coffee. I would definitely return and recommend. PS hey, it may not be a high end Boulanger but the croissants were wonderful as were the staff.

11/07/2026: Hello, I highly recommend this restaurant. I have to say, the atmosphere is superb. Especially the waiter, Jérôme. I was there last night, and honestly, we had a great time and a good laugh. A real treat. Seriously, you have to go. Say hi to Jérôme and keep being the way you are. I personally love you.

09/07/2026: A very disappointing experience. The quality of the food was poor and fell far short of expectations. The steak was far too fatty, making it unpleasant to eat. The cordon bleu was poorly prepared and had an odd color, which didn't inspire confidence in its cooking. The fries were soggy, overly wet, and had an unpleasant, unusual taste. For this level of quality, the price is certainly not justified. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and I won't be returning anytime soon.

23/07/2026: €22.50 for a “Caesar Salad”… clearly made with chopped chicken nuggets, more like something from a high-rise cafeteria than a Parisian bistro. When my daughter questioned this curious interpretation of the dish, the waiter offered us this nugget of culinary wisdom: “They’re nuggets, and nuggets are meat too.” Thanks for the gastronomy lesson; we had no idea that the frozen food aisle was now considered a great tradition of French cuisine. We hope at least that the “do not refreeze” warning was heeded; it seems to be the only quality standard this place has. As for the croutons, they had clearly been deep-fried for an extended period—shining as if they had just been refried. At €34.25 per person, we expected a little more respect for the word “Caesar.”

22/07/2026: The atmosphere is cold in this bistro. The service is unpleasant. Furthermore, paying 15 euros for two lemonades is outrageous. I strongly advise against going there.

15/07/2026: Efficient service, good value for money. Breathtaking view of the port and the bay of Calvi. In short, I recommend it.

11/07/2026: Positive points: The view, the fast service, the cocktails. Negative points: The salads were tasteless, just green leaves (for €17), and the table was dirty. The bill was exorbitant: €60 for two salads, two drinks, and a small charcuterie platter. The manager had the nerve to criticize his server, loudly telling him to get moving to show he was in charge (ridiculous), even though the server was doing his job perfectly well. Very disappointed!!

29/04/2026: Friendly welcome, good food, reasonable prices, and a complimentary glass of génépi liqueur. I highly recommend it. Plus, it's one of the few restaurants that stays open after the season. Thank you!

15/02/2026: We booked a table for two last night, February 14th, 2026, for Valentine's Day... We arrived and found the door locked! 😡 Imagine our surprise! We had come all the way from Concarneau. How could they leave their customers stranded without any warning?! What a lack of professionalism! I don't understand! We went to nearby restaurants, most of which were, of course, fully booked. But they told us that this was typical behavior at this restaurant... Luckily, a competent and professional restaurateur took us in. He saved our evening, which was much better thanks to him.

30/05/2026: Nice restaurant for healthy lunch and quick service, the prices seem to be a little over the top for a plate of veggies with no seasoning however.

12/06/2026: My partner is vegetarian, so we asked for a salad instead of meat. No salad, no tomatoes, no cucumbers—in short, nothing but the ingredients listed in the three dishes on the menu. Suffice it to say, this is no restaurant. I pointed this out to him, and he replied, "I hate vegetarians!" What a great business sense. Run away!

22/05/2026: To all vegetarians, be warned: you won't be welcomed with open arms. The owner, in fact, "hates" vegetarians. For vegans, it will be even more complicated. This is exactly the kind of place you should avoid when you hear this kind of talk.

14/07/2026: Discovered by chance after a morning of shopping, the service was efficient and the croque monsieur was generous and delicious. I highly recommend it and I won't hesitate to go back!

28/06/2026: A very bad experience. We had a terrible meal. I ordered a goat cheese and honey pizza that tasted like a frozen pizza, way overcooked and frankly tasteless. My partner ordered goat cheese and honey pasta: the worst pasta we've ever eaten. It was swimming in a liquid that looked like colored water, with no creaminess or flavor whatsoever. I also ordered a glass of wine to go with my meal… I'm still waiting for it. The only positive point was the cocktail, which was good. Otherwise, we felt like we were eating in a school cafeteria. Furthermore, the staff were unpleasant and unwelcoming, which only made this very bad experience worse. We will not be returning and absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

03/11/2025: I'm leaving this review because it's not the first time this has happened. When I go to drop off several games, maybe 15 or 20, the guy serving us breathes in my face and says he doesn't want to, and when he scans them he says it's a pain in the ass right in front of me, completely showing he doesn't want to do his job. You need to review your staff because this is the second time this has happened and I won't be back.
