17/08/2026: Carl and his team are top-notch, friendly and smiling, a good brasserie for lunch or simply to come and have a drink on the terrace.

30/05/2026: DISAPPOINTED. We arrived during a heat wave and were told there was no air conditioning due to concern for the environment, and we were advised to open the windows. The room was intolerably warm during the day and still uncomfortable at night. There were no screens on the windows so all the insects flew in. Additionally, there were bedside reading lights and small lamps, but you couldn't turn them on independently. There was one master switch that turned on all of the lights, and you couldn't use the reading lamps without the bank of overhead lights being on at the same time. So, one person sleeping while the other reads a book with the aid of a discreet bedside lamp was not an option. The breakfast was €22 per person and there were no lunch or brunch options after 10:00. They only have the same limited menu that is offered at dinner. When you ordered on the terrace bar, they immediately charged your card before serving you and we weren't allowed to start a 'tab' for our group. While we were there, they were hedging every part of the property with a loud, gas hedge trimmer for two days, which began before 8:00. Of course, we had the windows open so this was very disruptive and sleeping in was not an option.

08/07/2026: Family meal, neutral opinion but exorbitant prices, especially for a piece of sausage with fries and mushroom sauce at... €22.50. And then an extra €3 if you order aligot, I think that's clearly outrageous, especially considering it's a local specialty, so there's no need to inflate the prices (it's not like the product comes from the other end of France with added costs). That's my opinion. A bit disappointed by these "tourist" practices.

02/07/2026: For guests with reduced mobility, this isn't the place for you! There's only one accessible room, and it's not actually accessible. It's impossible to get into bed because there isn't enough space between the walls and the (sealed) bed for a wheelchair. This didn't seem to bother them too much. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place with a stunning view and a very nice restaurant.

15/07/2026: Great place!!! Top-notch salad bar. The food is delicious!!! The daily specials are reasonably priced and of good quality. The staff is super friendly and energetic, I highly recommend it!

14/05/2026: I'm very surprised by some of the negative comments, especially regarding portion sizes. I've been a customer for a while now and I always find the plates very generous, the selection is varied with something for everyone, and above all, everything is delicious. As a true foodie, I absolutely love the desserts! And as a bonus, the manager is lovely. I highly recommend it.

20/09/2026: This is a friendly restaurant in a central location with simple cuisine and good value for money. The servers are extremely helpful and respectful. They even take care of thirsty dogs 👍 The restaurant's star attraction is the all-you-can-eat mussels and fries at an unbeatable price. On market days—Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday—there is no seating available for lunch.

15/09/2026: A wide selection of very well-prepared dishes, the "Chef's Menu" is currently €19.90 (starter, main course + dessert). Friendly staff, a welcoming owner Monsieur Robert, a pleasant place in every respect. We'll gladly return, as we do almost every year 🤗😋

25/10/2026: To begin with, I'll never set foot in that place again. The bar is awful, the atmosphere is terrible, the staff is disrespectful, they made racist and inappropriate jokes towards me, the bartender even hid my drink. I used to like the atmosphere a few years ago, but it's gone downhill. In short, I advise everyone against going there, especially if you're Black; they'll miss you and make racist remarks.

21/10/2026: Happy hour applies to some draft beers but not all, there's no warning message, and the waiter, who looks like he's at a funeral, doesn't say a word. So €9.50 is a total rip-off! Avoid it.

03/11/2026: A very good restaurant to try, especially the cassoulet. A great place we'll definitely return to.

24/10/2026: A restaurant with impeccable food and service. We always order the rib steak, and it's always delicious and cooked to perfection. Kudos to Chef Micka and the entire team!

16/09/2026: We'd been wanting to eat here for a long time, surrounded by this magnificent setting. The welcome was very friendly too, but oh dear, the food! Four people, four different dishes, four disappointments. It's a real shame. For example, I had the salmon carpaccio with passion fruit. It felt like I was eating sand with the fruit seeds...it was very unpleasant! Removing them would have made for a much better mouthfeel. In short, it's a real shame; we'll come back for a stroll here, but not to eat here.

14/09/2026: No dialogue possible when there's a minor issue with the table or service… The young waiter's response (that's how it's done here): "Waiter not passionate about his job, he should be trimming the giraffe's hair." A word to the wise.

06/09/2026: We came for breakfast and the atmosphere was friendly; the staff were very pleasant. Excellent value for money with delicious toast and pastries. I highly recommend it!

09/10/2026: The staff are welcoming and do their job well, but the dining room is a bit small and therefore noisy. I went there on a Friday at lunchtime and I would have loved to have some fish, what a shame! The meat was good, but the fries were reheated.

09/10/2026: The food wasn't too bad. The welcome was good. The owner was funny until he brought the bill...then the laughter stopped. It must have been written on the menu (I didn't have my glasses on) or said by the waitress (I couldn't hear over the noise), but I clearly saw the number on the card terminal without my glasses: €27.80. For a sausage from Lozère at €18...and then the rest... The chocolate profiteroles were good but far from exceptional...€9.80...I didn't see a Michelin star when I went in...or when I left, for that matter. 😉
