25/07/2026: Unpleasant waiter. Pushed to buy more (one drink per table, even for a child) with a terrace that was 90% empty. Toilet not very clean.

02/11/2025: To all people of foreign origin: Avoid this place at all costs!!!! To make it clearer, I'm a local. After I'd paid everything, the owner asked me to vote for Marine Le Pen or Bardella, even though I was with my husband, who is North African. He'd just been speaking to Bardella, so it was obvious he was North African, and visually there was no mistaking it. It's outrageous! When you're a business owner, you keep your political opinions to yourself. At the very least, stand by them and don't take money from foreigners. Luckily, we had a wonderful stay and were incredibly well received by the people of Balagne, because otherwise, what a deplorable impression you would have left us of this beautiful region.

02/11/2025: A disgrace. The manager is awful, speaks rudely to customers, and thinks he's above everyone else. A €15 ice cream that wasn't even worth €3—unheard of! No sense of service, no politeness whatsoever. You almost feel like you're bothering them when you pay. Avoid at all costs.

26/07/2026: Really too expensive, they charged us 20 euros for four glasses of water. Not recommended.

26/07/2026: Horrible, not worth it. We had to ask for our desserts 3 times because they never brought them, and when they finally arrived, one dessert was missing. They asked us to change tables so they could take the smelly trash cans from the floor below via a floor elevator, and the cans smelled really bad. A Croque Madame that could more accurately be called a ham toast, and that's saying a lot. A roast chicken that's more like a boiled chicken without seasoning, because it had zero flavor. And the staff are far too arrogant. Don't be fooled by the location.

And to clarify, I came back here not because I'm a masochist, but because it's Sunday morning and the cafés in front of the Pradié fountain are closed... go figure... Previous review: The Google rating is well-deserved; the service is mediocre, which is regrettable considering the owner also runs the Chez Hubert restaurant next door, which is much appreciated. The worst part: they don't serve ice cubes with your fingers, and when you point it out, there's no apology, just "I'll talk to the manager." Well, now he knows! That's how you ruin a location of exceptional quality!

04/08/2026: I've never seen such dirty toilets in a McDonald's. They're stingy with the sauces (one mayo, not even one ketchup). The service is very slow. The fries arrived cold even though we were there.

25/02/2026: I had booked a month and a half in advance, explaining it was for a marriage proposal. I had requested a secluded spot on the terrace and a bottle of non-alcoholic Champagne so I could toast with my partner, who has suffered three strokes. Upon arrival, there was no record of our reservation. We were simply seated on the terrace. Apparently, the supplier doesn't carry that type of drink, but I suspect it was simply overlooked, just like our reservation. The staff seemed far more preoccupied with chatting and laughing than attending to customers until I voiced my dissatisfaction. The meal ended without dessert, as you can imagine. We had come last year, and everything was perfect. After tonight, we will certainly never return to this restaurant.
