10/07/2025: Mixed experience. We won't be back. Let's start with the positive: - The flank steak was good, well-seasoned; - The sides were also well prepared, especially the cauliflower one; - Little touches in the savory and then sweet appetizers. Now for the negative: - We barely had time to sit down before we were rushed to order; - For those who don't like goat cheese, there was too much on the menu; - We didn't understand the choice of bread. Why this bread? Homemade, okay, but compact, almost dry, unpleasant to eat, and it can even ruin a meal if you like to dip or eat cheese with it; - A really unpleasant smell for 5 minutes at a table right next to the kitchen (presumably the smell of seared knives), which made us leave quickly, luckily the meal was over; - Desserts that we found too sweet: 1. The chocolate caramel one, too heavy, not airy enough, a sort of larger Oreo. 2. The floating island, an original dessert in a strawberry sauce, however, it was reminiscent of cotton candy, and the only thing left in our mouths was almost nothing but sugar. - Regarding the prices: we found them too expensive for what we ordered. PS: We downgraded our review from 3 stars initially to 1 star. After reading all the negative comments left by customers, including ours, we realize that the restaurant is unable to accept even the slightest criticism.

09/07/2025: A very bad experience. We made a reservation at 8:45 p.m., but our table wasn't free. I was told there would be a 15-20 minute wait, and the previous guests were just finishing their meals. After inquiries, the 20 minutes turned into 30 minutes. There was no goodwill gesture (a free drink while I waited, or an offer to come back another time in better conditions, for example), just a "it's not my fault, they're not finished yet." For a restaurant that emphasizes having two sittings, it seems their service doesn't allow them to respect reservation times. And the receptionist's reaction is appalling. Edit: if you don't schedule the service, don't take reservations, and don't display the service times on your website... there's no risk of me coming back for the first sitting, don't worry about me! (Or the second)

03/12/2024: We had a wonderful time. The staff is pleasant, the room is warm and tastefully decorated. Regarding the dishes, we enjoyed ourselves. I had a risotto with fish which was cooked perfectly, everything was tender and balanced in terms of flavors. My companion had octopus which was also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

29/08/2024: A meal on the terrace overlooking the plain: a feast for the eyes. A refined menu, elegant, original, simple but effective cuisine: a treat for the senses. Gazpacho tartare of crab and prawns with mozzarella ice cream and olive mouillettes and crushed tomato. Rabbit, green beans and stuffed zucchini. Creamy mascarpone and white chocolate with raspberries. Go find out. It's not for everyone, but you'll get more than your money's worth.

25/08/2024: Excellent evening meal. The summer menu is delicious. We took the menu of two starters, main course, cheese, pre-dessert and dessert for €68. Perfect.

02/11/2024: Be careful if you don't like pork, you will be poorly received, humiliating remarks! Be careful to specify your choices carefully because a 26 euro bottle of wine can cost 50 euros! Bad experience for us!

24/10/2024: An authentic restaurant with homemade cuisine, all the dishes were delicious. The service was perfect. Very well maintained establishment and excellent value for money! I recommend!!!

31/08/2024: Très bon restaurant avec du personnel très sympathique et très compétant. Vous pouvez prendre des pizzas ou des salades au le menu gourmand. Tout est au top avec des produits frais.

17/12/2024: One of my favorite restaurants! Good brasserie cuisine. Very good service and a great boss! And a view of the concierge and the Eiffel Tower! Especially at sunset. In short, a good address!

09/09/2024: Typical French mountain auberge restaurant. We had a cheese fondue with ham and salad and it was great. Very good quality food. The rest of menu looked great with local products (you could see the other customers plates looking very nice). Service was perfect and staff very friendly. Well worth the visit.

17/08/2024: Bravo. Quel plaisir de trouver un tel endroit. Le service est souriant, le cadre chaleureux et dans l assiette on sent la passion du chef et de son équipe. Les produits sont bons, les recettes recherchées, plein de petits détails font la différence. Nous y sommes venus 2 fois en une semaine. Ici les gens ont à cœur de faire plaisir.

15/09/2024: Avec 29 camarades randonneuses et randonneurs à la fin de notre magnifique randonnée sur les hauteurs de Cabrerets nous nous sommes rendus dans cet établissement pour prendre une collation bien méritée aux alentours de 15h30. 2 clients étaient présents dans le restaurant des Grottes donc l'établissement était quasiment vide. Nous nous sommes installés sur la terrasse abritée avec vue sur le Lot car il pleuvait. Le patron a pris nos commandes (soft, glaces, bières et autres) table de 4 par table de 4 et nous a servi au fur et à mesure, tout se passait pour le mieux. Une randonneuse qui faisait partie de notre groupe de 30 personnes n'a pas souhaité prendre une consommation alors que les autres à sa table ont commandé quelque chose, le patron lui a demandé de sortir car elle ne consommait pas !!! Sidération, elle faisait partie de notre groupe... Si nous avions su nous aurions passé notre chemin : Accueil et respect de la personne ne semblent pas être les maîtres-mots de cet établisement. Dommage c'était un beau site qui affiche d'ailleur "Accueil Pélerins" ??? Nous avons pris nos consommations très déçus de la situation, nous avons payé et sommes partis ...

12/09/2024: Accueil du patron laborieux vraiment pas commerçant ce monsieur Le déjeuner sur la terrasse très agréable. Côté cuisine les mets sont fait maison et rien à redire (delicieux foie gras) Et pour le service bravo au jeune serveur disponible souriant
