30/03/2026: Very tasty crêpes and a wide selection, both sweet and savory. Unfortunately, one of our crêpe orders was misunderstood, and the hot chocolate wasn't as chocolatey as we'd hoped.

20/04/2026: A restaurant well worth the detour. The welcome was fabulous, our server was truly excellent. The meal was superb; we had a guest with gluten and lactose intolerance, and they did everything they could to accommodate their dietary needs. I highly recommend it.

04/04/2026: We love coming here for lunch while skiing: It's well located right next to the lift station, you can sit in the sun, the service is very friendly and attentive, and there's a nice selection of good, freshly cooked dishes: salads, pasta, burgers, casseroles, tartiflette, and much more. We'll definitely be back!

17/04/2026: I've been to La Crémerie several times now, and I'm never disappointed! Last time, I tried their homemade burger, and it was amazing! The waiter, Léo, is super friendly and quick, which is perfect for a Friday night. Plus, the atmosphere is really pleasant; it makes you want to stay. Honestly, if you're looking for a good restaurant in the area, don't hesitate, go for it!

The setting is superb and very pleasant, ideal for such an important event. The organization was impeccable; everything ran with great professionalism and seamlessly. The meal was of high quality and enjoyed by all our guests. We would also like to highlight the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff, who were always attentive and smiling, which greatly contributed to the success of this beautiful day. The setting is simply magnificent: an elegant, peaceful, and exotic location, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a timeless moment. 11/05/2026: Seems this place has been here for decades. Quaint atmosphere with very good food and excellent service. Several languages spoken. Set and daily menus in English. Limited wine by the glass.

08/05/2026: My bad feeling turned into certainty the moment I noticed the staff member clearly ignoring us after we greeted them upon entering the restaurant. While my partner was in the restroom, I saw them kick a chair twice, apparently finding it inconvenient in the cramped space. The service from the bespectacled staff member was the worst I've ever experienced in any restaurant around the world. I had high expectations because it was listed in several guidebooks, but I wouldn't recommend going because the service was so bad. I suspect that staff member only wants locals. The owner is busy cooking in the kitchen, so it's probably impossible for them to observe the staff's service, but I think you should check it out somehow. It completely ruins the otherwise delicious food.

20/02/2026: A very comfortable mountain refuge that has retained its authentic charm. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The owner is passionate and enthusiastically shares the history of the refuge. Excellent fondue. Good value for money. Perfect conditions with over 2 meters of snow outside. Magical!

18/02/2026: We had booked a meal and night toboggan run package at the Refuge du Tornieux, but unfortunately, the experience turned dangerous. The information we received by email indicated the existence of a groomed track. Upon arriving at the parking lot, we saw no clear signs and only a hiking trail to the left. We followed it, thinking we would eventually reach the groomed track, especially since there were tracks in the snow. After several minutes, we realized it wasn't the right path, but the signs still pointed to the refuge, so we continued. With the amount of snow, the trails were no longer visible, and we simply followed the path through the snow. The refuge signs disappeared, and we came across a sign indicating "Plaine des Mayères." We then called the refuge to ask whether we should continue or turn back. We were told that many people make the same mistake but that we could follow the sign. The situation quickly became extremely dangerous: waist-deep snow, repeated falls, pitch-black night, and no way to see the trail. After wandering for over two hours, we called again. Two women tried to help us, but in the background, we could clearly hear the person in charge saying, "I worked all day to welcome them; they're on their own." We were even told that some had managed to find their way back... in four hours. Faced with the danger and the lack of any real assistance, we turned back. The result: nearly three hours of wandering in the middle of the night in extremely risky conditions. The most shocking thing was the lack of safety measures and clear signage, even though it's acknowledged that "many people get lost." A simple, small sign, visible from the start, at the barrier leading to the trail, clearly indicating that it wasn't the right path, would have been enough to avoid this situation. At no point did anyone check that we had made it back safely. We are extremely disappointed and especially shocked by the lack of prevention and consideration of the danger.
