We discovered this place and its team, and since then, it's been a must-visit every time we come. The food is a delight and regularly updated. 13/08/2026: Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Took my 5 month old with my husband. Was lucky enough to get a table for lunch. Had wonderful service and the food was the best, most complex and special food we had on our trip. I would come back here any time.

He also spoke impeccable English—a massive relief for our dining experience, if a slight setback for my ambitious plans to practice my French. It’s a relatively small restaurant with few tables that filled quickly, we had made reservations.

The service was friendly , attentive, and welcoming, even though we were visiting from the United States. The atmosphere was relaxing and made for a memorable evening. The owner made the best of the language barrier and we had the most delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Thank you to the owner for our first taste of Chartreuse! 07/10/2026: Our most disappointing meal in France. The oysters were shucked but not separated from the shell. The sea bass was okay but sat on top of a ratatouille which was bland. The Dover sole which was quite expensive was a small portion and quite dry. Our wine was delicious. When paying he asked us how much tip we wanted to add. Interestingly this was the only restaurant in our 16 days in France that pushed us to leave a tip.

06/10/2026: We had a very good dinner with friends at this lovely restaurant. We were warmly greeted and shown to our very comfortable table with nice big chairs to sit and relax in. Our waiter was very good and also spoke very good English which made things easier for us. We started with a selection of oysters which were fabulous and super fresh, accompanied by a nice bottle of Deutz champagne. I had the blue lobster which was a special of the day with roast potatoes and salad. The lobster was cooked perfectly, lovely and moist and tasty with a nice garlic/ persilade marinade/ dressing. Our wonderful waiter also recommended a very good local Rose which we all won. My wife and friends also very much enjoyed their meals and it make a great occasion for catching up with our best friends.

27/09/2026: Thank you for your attention to my daughter's allergy. The food was excellent, the staff genuinely smiled, the interactions with them were pleasant, and the prices were very reasonable with a sea view. I highly recommend it.
