10/06/2026: If you're looking for an establishment whose management lacks consideration for artists, this example unfortunately deserves mention. I learned that one of my concert dates had been canceled on the very day of the performance, and only because I had followed up with the establishment regarding a declaration and payment that still hadn't been processed. Without this action on my part, I would have simply driven there for nothing that evening. A month later, I learned that the other scheduled concert dates were also canceled. Again, without the slightest apology. Yet, after the first cancellation, I had taken the time to write a lengthy email to make management aware of the realities of being a freelance performing artist. In it, I explained, in particular, that the bulk of our work is concentrated during the peak season and that last-minute cancellations have real consequences for our work and our income. If every venue were to cancel performances at the last minute, without respecting commitments or showing any consideration for the professionals involved, it would simply become impossible for many artists to make a living from their craft. Clearly, this message wasn't enough to make management understand that music isn't just a hobby, but a real profession, practiced by professionals who deserve the same respect as any other service provider.

06/04/2026: We had lunch on Easter Sunday at noon. There were six of us: four adults and two teenagers, aged 15 and 18 respectively. The adults opted for scallops and fish, while the teenagers chose chicken ballotines and lamb chops. This morning, we discovered that our two teenagers had had a very bad night, suffering from stomach pains until the 18-year-old became unwell and vomited up her undigested meal. Her brother fasted all day and felt unwell all day Monday. Why assume the restaurant is to blame? Simply because the only meal they ate on Sunday was at the restaurant, and it was the only time they ate differently from the four adults. €79 for a meal that resulted in illness is a bit steep. It's a shame, because the setting is very pleasant, the service impeccable, and until this incident, we were very happy. This message is to let you know that your meat supplier might need to be reviewed. Obviously, I can't prove anything; the two Parisian teenagers have gone back to Paris. Too bad!

The owner welcomed us warmly at the last minute, even though the restaurant was almost full and the other restaurants had been rather unfriendly. This restaurant only offers plain fondue, but what a feast! A true delight 💓 And the desserts made with local ingredients were the perfect ending to the meal! Yum! The waitress was lovely and attentive, and thanks to her, we had a dream evening! Thank you to everyone who works to make our experience enjoyable at this restaurant, which truly lives up to its name, "THE DREAM SPOT"!!

Three weeks before our arrival, our reservation was cancelled due to a simple "technical problem," without any further explanation or proposed solution. This late cancellation puts us in a difficult situation, as our entire weekend was already planned around this stay. We are disappointed by the lack of information and support regarding this issue. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but we would have appreciated greater transparency and assistance in finding an alternative.

As a specialized technical educator, I am particularly drawn to organizations that succeed in promoting inclusion. ESAT Le Grand Réal achieves this with great compassion and dedication. The young people and their support staff had a wonderful time in a warm and welcoming setting. We left delighted with this experience and will return without hesitation on our next trip to the region. 29/05/2026: We had a very pleasant early evening dinner great menu the octopus and beef tagliata both main course were excellent. We were severed by a wonderful young waitress (I think Manu) who was attending to all the immediate tables around us with charm and efficiency.

03/06/2026: Love to give this restaurant a better review but please don't seat someone for 10 minutes and then ignore them no offer of water or anything and you weren't busy. Food in the main was good but the tuna tartare was awful grey tuna too much oil . Service did improve but the dye was cast Conclusion just ok but probably worth a visit.
