22/09/2024: 6/5 stars! If visiting Paris, immerse yourself and try this excellent french restaurant in the charming Batignolle area. There's no english menu so just have a go and have fun. The owners do speak english and were very happy to help us as we stumbled our way through the evening (thank you Phillippe). We ordered the jour de beouf and it was melt in your mouth heaven. A must try is the mille-feuille, it was exquisite. When we return to Paris, we will be back.
21/09/2024: This little restaurant on rue des Dames doesn't look like much from the outside but the locals are not mistaken, you have to make a reservation as it's often full. Philippe the boss is very attentive to his customers, the cuisine is refined and the choice of wines is perfect, the slightly high prices are justified by the quality

08/12/2024: What a pleasant surprise! This restaurant is very very good value for money. We ordered Entrecôte and a tart. The meat was tender and delicious, with home made fresh fries (not the ones that have been re-re-recooked. Tart was tasty.
The room is a bit old - just forget and focus on food. Very worth it so conveniently close to Gare de Lyon.
24/11/2024: Very good experience, great team who accepted a late welcome (12:30 a.m.) and very good! Duck breast burger and couscous at the top

The welcome is warm and friendly, the cuisine is a delight, each dish is prepared with care and the flavors are simply exquisite. The products are fresh, the portions generous, and the presentation is neat, a pure delight! I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and is looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience!

20/09/2024: Food poisoning after our visit to this restaurant. I don't recommend it at all, the chicken is not prepared fresh, a bacteria made us sick. In addition, we cannot sit where we want in the restaurant even though there was room. The knives cut poorly and the hygiene of the toilets needs to be reviewed. Finally, be careful, the waiter was pleasant but he did not give us the correct amount in change.

02/07/2025: This place has become truly pathetic, it's crazy. The waitress drops buckets of mussel shells on the table and floor. It's frenzied madness. She doesn't care. She cleans up two-thirds or three-quarters of them and leaves, leaving empty shells on the table until dessert without paying attention.
This should be avoided since it's no longer called "Léon de Bruxelles. WARNING!!!!" It's just "Léon." Don't confuse them. It's completely different (especially the all-you-can-eat raw vegetable buffet, which has been removed to make way for mozzarella sticks in a €19.90 starter-main course or main course-dessert menu without coffee). There's much less choice, and the staff and restaurant management aren't up to par. It's ridiculous.
