28/02/2026: A particularly friendly welcome, but also a fantastic meal! The starter, the Egg Cocotte with Auvergne Blue Cream, was truly delicious. The Beef Tartare was tasty but also presented with care. My wife had a Cabillaud on a bed of ratatouille and had to think long and hard about when she had ever had such a delicious meal. For dessert, we chose the Crème Brûlée, which we hadn't encountered in years. In short, highly recommended!

06/08/2026: What a true pleasure it was to discover this "café-restaurant" in the village of Grillon (84). A real village restaurant. Family-run, friendly, welcoming... nothing but good qualities. How could anyone not fall under the spell of this establishment? Not Michelin-starred, not stuffy. Not "pretentious." And as for the food, it's truly very fresh, cooked to order. Everything is produced within a 20km radius. For example, the melons that were intended for the starters arrived 10 minutes before the evening service. Frankly, those who pass through Grillon without stopping at "La Truffe Noire" won't be going to heaven...lol

The only downside: they're closed for part of August, so our friends from Nantes visiting Auvergne won't have the great opportunity to experience these two passionate and talented restaurateurs! 10/08/2026: A fantastic dining experience at Le Chaperon Rouge in Cannes! 🇫🇷 This is truly a restaurant that delivers on French cuisine. The atmosphere is incredibly charming and authentic, and the food was simply delicious. The steak was absolutely amazing and perfectly cooked, incredibly tender and full of flavor. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time. But the highlight? The frog legs. Honestly, the best frog legs I've had in all of France! Perfectly cooked, flavorful and with a fantastic sauce. In addition, the service was absolutely wonderful. Very nice, attentive and professional service that really made the evening even better. It's clear that they care about both the food and the guests. Everything from the food, the service and the atmosphere made this an evening we will never forget. Le Chaperon Rouge is truly a little gem in Cannes, and a place I would definitely recommend to others. 5/5 – and the frog legs alone are worth the trip! 🇫🇷🥩🐸

02/08/2026: First time I tried frog, and it was delicious. Duck & tiramisu were absolutely amazing. Owners are very friendly, had the chance to meet the chef! Thanks for the company that evening, I will absolutely come back.
