17/02/2026: What we disliked was the cold and unpleasant welcome. We were shown to our table with a wave of the hand. We were seated in a corner where there was a lot of foot traffic: the waiters were constantly going back and forth to fetch cutlery from a cabinet right behind us. There was no eye contact, no smile when we ordered. We were quickly rushed through the bill. Thankfully, the waiters who brought the food were friendly and pleasant. The food was average but acceptable.

18/03/2026: A charming village restaurant housed in a former village school. Simple, good, and generous French cuisine. It's everything we love. It's far better than all the junk food that's flooding France with kebabs and tacos.

29/11/2025: The food was excellent: fresh ingredients, clean flavors, beautifully plated. The service, however, was unprofessional and abysmal. After the fish course, the dirty plates sat untouched for 45 minutes, until I finally bussed them myself because they smelled. I had to wander the restaurant to find the server and ask for the check, cancelling dessert. When I said I shouldn’t be charged for a dish I no longer wanted, the waiter snapped, “You chose it, you pay for it.” This place is not worth it.

25/11/2025: A well-deserved 5 stars. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, everything was perfect. The ingredients were very fresh, local, and chosen according to what's available at the market. Not to mention the very friendly welcome and impeccable service. Excellent value for money. You absolutely must go.

I highly recommend this superb inn located in this charming village nestled at the foot of the Gorges du Tarn and the Jonte, with its enchanting landscapes.

07/02/2026: There are set menus and daily menus available. A daily set menu includes an appetizer and main course for €20, with dessert costing an extra €3. A two-course set menu costs €29, and a three-course set menu costs €34. Google reviews of the dishes are positive. The goat cheese salad features fried hot cheese—a must-try for cheese lovers. For those who don't like cheese, the salmon salad is a great option, topped with plenty of sesame oil and very fragrant. The menu is available in English, which is a great feature. The staff are also very friendly.

09/02/2026: Hello everyone, here's a seaside restaurant in "Vieille-Chapelle" where everything is homemade, all-you-can-eat, delicious, beautifully presented, with smiling, friendly, efficient service and a magnificent view of Pointe Rouge Bay! I highly recommend it.
