02/06/2026: We came as a family for Mother's Day on Sunday evening, May 31st. We received VIP treatment; we no longer needed to give our names, as we're now a regular and they know us. We ate very well, as usual: snails, roast beef, escalope, grilled salmon with aioli, and impeccable service from Laurent. A lovely little touch was a rose offered for Mother's Day; even my daughter (22 years old) received a rose, which we appreciated. You really pamper your customers! 01/06/2026: I love this restaurant!! The food, the atmosphere, the service... everything is perfect. I've known it since I was a child, back when Paillette beer was still brewed just a stone's throw from the restaurant. Some waiters and bartenders have left, but the service has remained impeccable. The menu has been slightly modified but is still enticing, with dishes that are just as delicious. I did feel a pang of disappointment, though, to see that the bavette steak with shallots was no longer on the menu... The quality is consistently high, and the prices aren't exorbitant. In short, Taverne Paillette remains a Le Havre institution. A must-try, and a place to return to again and again!!

26/05/2026: The setting is simple and pleasant. The cuisine is very traditional but extremely generous (the portions are enormous). Having said that, it's really important to keep in mind that it took us over four hours for our starter, main course, and dessert. We arrived at 12:25 PM, received our aperitif at 1:15 PM, our starter at 2:00 PM, the main course at 3:15 PM, and dessert after 4:00 PM... we rushed to pay the bill at 4:30 PM. We were a group of 11 people, and the restaurant had another group of 12 and several tables in the dining room. I understand. But in that case, we could have arrived at 1:30 PM... if they had told us. In short, an unreal lunch, or even though we didn't have anything else important planned (we had planned a walk that we canceled), it caused fatigue and annoyance among the children and teenagers. Finally, regarding the price, I understand the generous portions... but I ate the day before at another restaurant (a small Relais in Coligny) where I had the same thing (snails with morels, Bresse chicken with morels, cheese, and dessert) for €55 (instead of €75 here) with much more refined cuisine (and admittedly smaller portions, but still more than enough) and a two-hour lunch in total. In short, a strange experience.

24/05/2026: Passing through on our motorcycles by chance, we received a very warm welcome, friendly service, and excellent cuisine made with local products. We returned home with full stomachs and will definitely be back.

23/05/2026: We went there as a family and the food was excellent, the welcome was very pleasant, and the setting is beautiful. It's advisable to book in advance. If you're looking for a crêperie in the area, I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

16/05/2026: The savory crepes are a bit dry, not the best, contrary to their reputation. As for the sweet crepes, I think they were afraid they'd run out of toppings; they were almost empty, and the industrial ice cream wasn't the best.

28/06/2026: The medieval castle, surrounded by vineyards, offers a unique setting that blends architectural heritage with natural beauty. The visit is very well organized: tours of the castle and vineyards, clear explanations of winemaking, and tastings that allow you to discover elegant and balanced wines. Lunch is also available on-site.

01/01/2026: Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. There was a bit of a wait, but that's the price of authenticity. The welcome was incredibly friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. A wonderful discovery. I also recommend checking out their vending machine for their homemade products. They're excellent there too, and the prices are very fair. Thank you for everything!

07/06/2026: We went to Blois to visit the Castle. At lunchtime, after some online research, we headed to this little restaurant in the old town. A gentleman, I think the owner, greeted us, and he also cooked galettes and crepes. We had two succulent galettes for lunch and then finished the meal with a crepe flambéed with Grand Marnier, spectacularly flambéed at the table. Both were delicious. Congratulations on creating these two little culinary gems.

30/05/2026: We had a light meal before visiting the Loire Valley châteaux. We received a very warm welcome and were seated. There's a good selection of savory and sweet crêpes, something to please everyone. The quantity and quality are excellent, especially for the price: €8 for a crêpe with ham, cheese, egg, and a small salad. For dessert, we had a crêpe tatin (€11) with candied apples, homemade whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and salted caramel. The ingredients are fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. A must-see in Blois, both for its friendly atmosphere and its excellent value.

15/04/2026: I received a very poor welcome from the manager or owner, who made me wait to the side because I wanted a table in the sun. There were at least four to six empty tables on the sunny terrace, yet he seated several people before me. When, after I insisted, he finally showed me to a table, he shoved me from behind.
