31/10/2024: A stylish place, a unique atmosphere that reminds me of a manor or a castle. It's worth visiting and staying overnight. The service was very nice, helpful and interested in ensuring the guests' well-being. The rooms are clean, well-kept, tastefully decorated, rather old-style, lots of dark wood. Hotel on the edge of the charming French countryside. You just have to go there!

22/11/2024: La note très bien signifie, dans sa catégorie, petit restaurant à prix modérés, en face de la gare, loin des endroits touristiques. Les menus sont à 12 et 14 euros, selon la formule, et vous en avez pour votre argent. C'est simple mais bon et assez copieux pour moi. Par exemple, langue de porc en sauce piquante, ce plat n'est plus courant , et cela fait plaisir de trouver des plats typiques. De plus le service est rapide et les gens très aimables. Vraiment rien à redire, si vous passez par là, pour déjeuner pas cher, il est très bien.

29/08/2024: Le Chalet du Lac is set up primarily for dining, but there is a comfortable outdoor seating area set aside for people who simply want a beer or two. It’s situated on the lakeside garden of an old villa and is perfectly charming. The location, service and beers were spot on. Another nice place to drink in this beautiful village.

17/08/2024: Table too small for 5, rosé wine not fresh. Asked to eat outside because it was too hot inside, we were told that all the tables were taken even though many were free. Very poor performance. I do not recommend!

11/09/2025: Have cycled through the area for 20 years and have never been there before. The restaurant is located on one of the small roads leading out of town a few hundred meters from the center. We happened to pass by and decided to have lunch here. Chose the menu of the day. 3 courses. Starter. Homemade terrine. Main course. Leg of pentade with fig sauce. Dessert. Tiramisu with apricot. Nice presentation. Absolutely delicious. The hostess. Sweet, friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere. We sat outside. In a quiet and shady area, with quiet guests. It seemed cozy. Highly recommended as a good place to visit if you come to town.

27/05/2025: Booked a restraunt table for 2pm. Staff very attentive and the food was fabulous. Even had a little boogie outside with DJ playing afterwards. Would have popped in everyday if I could 😍

03/07/2025: When you are alone and you order sparkling water they bring you a 0.75 cl bottle for 7 euros while they have 0.25 cl Perrier which is not offered, I think the customer is not their priority!

16/11/2025: Hello, this is a truly excellent restaurant where you receive a very warm welcome in a simple and elegant setting, in a lovely veranda. The food is delicious and of high quality, with subtle flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The service is done under a cloche, adding a touch of magic to the experience of discovering each course. Thank you to the waitress who takes the time to chat and even joke with professionalism. Thanks also to her two colleagues. This establishment is well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. The best part is that if you book a table (highly recommended) for lunch and would like to enjoy a pleasant stroll, you can even walk along the Erdre River, which is located not far from the restaurant. 👍 Thank you again to all the staff who made our evening so enjoyable. My guests and I left with only positive memories.

We expected much better 🥲 The appetizers were not good 🤢 The white wine was served too late; we had almost finished our starter 😡 The fish was undercooked and the beurre blanc sauce had curdled 😱 The side dishes were inappropriate (polenta and rice) 😤 The desserts were too sweet; were they store-bought? 🤔 Ultimately, the value for money was very average
