20/01/2026: Pleasantly surprised by the decor and atmosphere. I ordered a vegetable stir-fry and made the owner laugh by saying I was surprised to find pieces of beef in the dish 🐂... The cook explained that they were meat substitutes. Well, I loved it!!! A very nice experience for a meat lover like me. And the dessert was original and delicious. I'll be back... #### January 20, 2026: I returned to enjoy a hot spiced apple juice 🍏. Original and delicious, just like the Bohemian decor. I'll be back.....

18/01/2026: An incredible experience! A must-try. They've succeeded in creating amazing vegan alternatives that are virtually indistinguishable from whipped cream. We recommend the waffle and the crumble. The service was incredibly friendly. A lovely break that will refresh your taste buds. Bonus: you'll feel light after your meal.

30/05/2026: It was a sweltering evening, but the service was outside. The water wasn't cold, and there were too many people in the area. Fortunately, the food more than made up for it.

29/05/2026: We celebrated our 12th anniversary at Chez Julien, and it was an absolutely magical evening. The restaurant’s outdoor terrace creates a wonderfully romantic atmosphere—perfect for a special occasion, and we can wholeheartedly confirm this based on our experience. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. They went out of their way to help us overcome any misunderstandings caused by language and cultural differences, offering thoughtful solutions with a smile. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was a highlight: we savored a perfectly prepared steak, cooked to absolute perfection with all the right touches. Every bite was enjoyed with genuine pleasure. If you’re looking for a romantic setting, excellent service, and delicious French cuisine, Chez Julien is a must-visit—especially for milestones like ours.

19/05/2026: This is not a venue for tourists. We wanted to have dinner, but were broadly ignored. Drinks were great, Aperol Spritz was very good, bar staff lovely. As people around us were served, we seemed to be ignored by waiting staff. Happy ending as we discovered Goloso Pizza just down the road. Gorgeous pizzas. Avoid Paris Europe and go straight to Goloso.

19/03/2026: I have a wonderful time at this neighborhood bar; the staff are incredibly attentive and take care of you with care and warmth. If you only have time for one place in Paris, this is the one!

13/04/2026: We had a wonderful meal. A small group of nine for the end of the season. Dishes included Savoyard tart, crosiflette... everything was delicious. Thank you to the owner for the lovely time we had. The prices are very reasonable, unlike in Megève. Keep up the good work!

17/05/2026: We went there for a family lunch on the weekend while we were visiting the town. The food was great, the fish and meat were high quality, well cooked and seasoned. On each dish, great attention was given to the sauce and the presentation which really made the dishes stand out. The lunch menu is very affordable given the quality of the food. Highly recommended. The staff did a great job too. Reservation might be needed during the week.

29/05/2026: My partner and I eat at this restaurant regularly. We were there at lunchtime and once again, we left having had a wonderful meal! The welcome is very friendly, the staff are pleasant and always smiling! The dishes are simple but delicious, served on really pretty tableware and beautifully presented... we enjoy them every time! The set menu during the week is €20 (starter/main course/dessert, wine and coffee included). Several other menus are available and are very affordable considering the quality of the ingredients! Fresh ingredients and regularly changing dishes offer a variety of options! They are very accommodating when possible (food intolerances, etc.).

10/05/2026: A very warm welcome at this small restaurant in a hamlet in the southern Ardèche; however, the terrace is truly basic and poorly maintained. For a €37 menu, it deserves a minimum of decor and cleanliness. The set menu is overpriced: three olives upon arrival and a starter that was good but very simple, and a main course that was also good but very simple. In my opinion, the menu is €10 too expensive… The atmosphere is average.
