24/04/2026: And yes, it's the end of an era. We've been eating at La Galettière for 39 years. One of the first customers in 1987 and one of the last to celebrate its closing last Saturday. The best crêperie, I've never found better anywhere else. Very family-oriented. Philippe has always been the same, all these years. Professional, helpful, smiling, friendly, and what more can I say... He introduced me to so many people in the professional world. Over the years, a true friendship developed. Yes, it's true, we're going to miss eating delicious crêpes so much. Now, you definitely deserve to rest and enjoy the good life. Hugs and all the best. Your friends, Gilou and Samia.

24/04/2026: It took an hour to be served, and they gave me a different galette than the one I ordered: not a single discount on the bill. The galette was very greasy. I'm struggling to understand the Google rating.

02/07/2026: There were two of us, and we ate the same sandwich, and we both got sick… The connection to the sandwich was quickly made because it was the only thing/place we ate together. I don't know if it was the ingredients or the kitchen hygiene, but it's surprising for a bakery.

18/06/2026: We just finished up a 2.5 week visit, staying in an Airbnb down the street from this boulanger. I would go each morning to get my daily supply of baguettes traditions and Bhaskar croissants and pains au chocolat. Sometimes I'd get one if their sandwiches, salad, or pastries. Everything was fresh and perfectly delicieux!!! And the staff was TOPS!!! I was greeted each morning by a wonderful woman who tolerated my poor French, and spoke clearly and slowly for me. Afternoons, I'd have a sweet girl who would throw in a treat every now and then. They were wonderful and always treated me, am obvious foreigner, with the utmost respect and friendliness!! The only downside was that they were closed on weekend, but we found out that the multiple baguettes could be purchased on Friday and last until they opened again on Monday! I'll miss them and their delicious goodies so much!! MERCI BIEN!!!

14/09/2026: A very good restaurant with a sea view. I'm deducting one star for the food because there wasn't enough fish on the menu, just because I'm picky. But having eaten there twice with children, I can say there's something to please everyone, and the waitstaff is very pleasant and attentive.

29/08/2026: Absolutely delicious! The saucy dishes are particularly excellent and very flavorful. However, it's a shame the portions are so large, as this can lead to a lot of waste. The wait time is also quite long, which is a bit of a drawback. Despite these negative points, the quality of the food is still excellent, and we had a great time.

11/07/2026: We went for a lunch at the restaurant only, so I can only comment on the food. We were walk-ins. The service was a little slow but adequate. The staff were friendly enough. Thw appetisers were lovely. Very tasty. Things were off to a good start. My husband had the menu of the day which was chicken skewers (which he said lacked salt) and a starter and cheesecake for dessert. He said overall it was nice. I only had a mixed plate of 4 different pieces of fish: one prawn, one cuttlefish, a flat white fish (can't remember the name) and salmon. The salmon was dreadfully undercooked, and so I asked for it to be cooked some more.. The waiter wholeheartedly agreed and apologised. It however returned and was not cooked much more. I said this to the waiter who said that is the way they cook it, to this point. It would then be useful to ask customers how they like their salmon cooked on ordering because I prefer it cooked through but not burned on the outside. I didn't end up eating the salmon, and only half the cuttlefish which was rubbery and lacked any flavour. Anyway, the fish platter was an overall disappointment and the fish in itself didn't have the freshest of tastes if I compare it to other places we've eaten at by the sea. They took the price of the coffee off the bill as a gesture and on driving away we realised they forgot to charge us for the side of chips we ordered (these were nice, large portion). But we decided this would also compensate for paying €35 for a fish platter that wasn't worth it at all and I only ate half of. The other veggies on the plate were nice, grilled courgette and a tomatoe with alioli.. I wish had ordered the lamb, I think it would have been much better. I just made a bad choice. We wouldn't return.

06/07/2026: We stayed there for a weekend for a family reunion. The food was exceptional! Everything was delicious and expertly prepared. The service was top-notch, with great adaptability and patience! The accommodation was very good! Clean room, comfortable bed. The pool is lovely, as is the location. The free, covered private parking is a real plus. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This establishment deserves a 4-star rating; I think it wouldn't take much to achieve it.

08/08/2026: An excellent rest stop for a night en route. Fabulous restaurant with s great wine list. Good EV charging available. The hotel is a little dated, but make up for it with friendly service, excellent meals, clean rooms and charm. Recommended for tired travellers.

02/05/2026: Passing through the region for personal reasons, I spent two nights at a hotel. The rooms are very quiet and pleasant. The meals and breakfasts are excellent. A special mention goes to the staff, who are very attentive and caring. I highly recommend it.

29/08/2026: We came to share a meal with friends and ended up having a wonderful experience. A superb setting in a beautiful village. Simple yet delicious dishes, local produce, and excellent, fast, and friendly service. I highly recommend it to everyone, whether you're staying in the area or just passing through – don't hesitate!

28/08/2026: They were already super nice on the phone when making the reservation. Dogs were allowed. We had a delicious meal. And the service was top-notch.

06/10/2026: We had two great meals at Sir Winston whilst holidaying in Paris. Sir Winston was family friendly and both our boys loved the food and both wait staff each night were exceptional. Thank you Sir Winston. If we are ever back on Paris, we'll certainly return for a meal.

05/10/2026: I love coming to Sir Winston for the decor, the atmosphere, the service, and their chicken salad! It's absolutely delicious! I also really enjoy their Viennese hot chocolate with a madeleine. It's my little sweet ritual when I'm in Paris. See you soon!

15/08/2026: I stumbled upon this lovely place. A bar-restaurant with a beautiful hidden terrace, I received a very warm welcome and ordered a salad that was good value for money. The service was friendly and the DJ set was great, keeping the music just right.

15/08/2026: Great restaurant with fresh and varied food. You can tell the food is homemade and the dishes are made with love. The servers are very friendly and the white wine is really good (and sulfite-free). I highly recommend this restaurant.

28/09/2026: Excellent concept combining self-service and table service. The buffets are well-stocked and varied. The food is very good.

27/09/2026: We were very disappointed with our last visit. We had been coming regularly for the past few months and were very satisfied with the restaurant, the buffet selection, and the hot dishes, especially the butcher-style steaks. These have been replaced with cheap, low-quality steaks, among other things, as several other items have been changed. The brownie dessert, for example, is where the brownies disappear over time... It's a shame, we would have been willing to pay a few euros more to continue enjoying this restaurant with an all-you-can-eat option for €19.90...

08/08/2026: A brasserie where you can eat well and quickly. They're always accommodating in finding a table, but unfortunately sometimes victims of their own success at lunchtime, so hurry and book and order the daily specials because they sell out fast!

21/07/2026: I come here regularly to eat. The welcome is warm, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is convivial. The food is good, with more than generous portions for a reasonable price. One small drawback…it's closed on Saturday evenings :(
