24/06/2025: Very calm, low key restaurant with friendly staff and good food. It was hotter than hell out and they adjusted their menu. Other restaurants keep their heavy dishes.

07/07/2025: Great 5 course dinner last night for a private party. The food was pretty tasty and plated nicely. I loved the sea bass. The cheese plate was ok. The chicken was pretty good.

05/07/2025: Excellent cuisine, friendly and attentive service... finally we found a place in Paris that had excellent non-alcoholic wine... And definitely try Vol-Au-Vent, you will fall in love with this dish.)

16/06/2025: One of my top places in Paris when visiting, friendly and wonderful staff, delicious and proportionate dishes, beautiful interior decor, and an overall joy of a restaurant. The food is one of the highlights, the steak, savory yet balanced with a wonderfully crisp peppered texture. Although, I recommend the cheesy umami onion soup and the side of crispy macaroni is a must when visiting. Edit: yes don’t worry they are super welcoming to tourists, don’t be scared of the other old reviews, the food is impeccable and shouldn’t be described as just “ok”. Enjoy!

31/10/2025: We had lunch at this country restaurant on October 28, 2025, in the purest tradition of this type of establishment. The owner gave us a friendly, smiling, and warm welcome, even though there were only two of us dining. We enjoyed the local aperitif, Lo Cul Dra Haut, made with kirsch and cherry syrup. Then came a very generous country-style menu: omelet, sausage, salad, cheeses (a tasting plate), and tart. Alsatian white wine by the glass was also available (very good). The owner was open to conversation while respecting local traditions. So, if you're out hiking, stop by Gaby's and give it a try!

01/07/2025: Warm welcome, atmosphere, service. Lovers of beef tartare, we were seduced by the wide selection and were not disappointed by the Spanish tartare with chorizo. A bottle of L'enfant terrible (CDR) red wine to accompany all this. And the sum is good 😂 More seriously, excellent value for money. An address saved in our favorites. We will be back 😉

12/09/2024: Nice Parisian atmosphere in this bar/bistro. Saying that most of the guests spoke English. The menu changes up to three times a week. It is a set menu. In our case it was a starter of Vichyssoise, a main of braised beef cheeks, followed by a cheese plate, finishing with raspberry panna cotta.. The Vichyssoise reached us lukewarm - once replaced with something hot, it was actually quite nice. The braised beef cheek portion was very generous. The beef was braised with patatos and vegetables added. It was nice, though it could have done with a bit of acidity or spice to lift it. It was a bit flat. The cheese and chutney were lovely. The panna cotta was nice but could have done with more raspberry coulis. The owner has a large wine cellar and chose a superb bottle of wine to accompany the meal. Weirdly, there is a € 7 corkage charge for wine you buy by the bottle. All in all, the food is freshly cooked local fare, the atmosphere is good, there is a large selection of wine to choose from. I would go and try it again.

08/09/2024: Great surprise! Recommended on Trip Advisor. No ala carte menu. Served the market menu which consisted of a lovely potato and leek soup, a beef cheek stew, a blue cheese with fig, and a pannacotta with figs. Absolutely delicious. The host recommended a lovely red wine. Beautiful atmosphere, lively & full of character. Wonderful service. A must for anyone visiting Paris.

23/09/2024: By far the best mussels I have eaten. Usually, in the restaurants in which I ate them, the mussels were overcooked, rubbery, there were mussels a la minute. A treat! The waitress is very pleasant and smiling.

15/09/2024: Lunch in this restaurant on a Monday lunchtime as we were passing through the area. Quick and pleasant welcome. We love the fireplace kitchen. The interior has character. You have to like the old one but it's well decorated. We had a burger and andouillette. It was very good. Too bad the fries are not homemade (I often repeat myself on this aspect in my reviews but I love homemade fries). Otherwise everything was very good. Very good value for money. Very nice chef

The service was very friendly, in particular the waiter's impressive fillet haul... it's worth seeing The products are quality and the price seemed fair to us compared to other cards Plus we leave with the leftovers and serve ourselves again at home.. In short, a great experience
