07/06/2026: Gluten-free option in the medieval city of Carcassonne. We chose the €21 set menu. The first course was baked Camembert, very good; the second course was cod with garnish, excellent; and my husband ordered the duck casserole and said it was finger-licking good (this dish contains gluten, so I couldn't try it). Dessert was panna cotta with raspberry and crème brûlée (a type of Catalan cream). The service was very friendly and they speak Spanish.

30/06/2026: A terrible experience at Léon restaurant this lunchtime. At first, everything seemed fine; we were allowed to choose our table. But then it was a disaster from beginning to end. In the middle of a heatwave, we waited over 30 minutes just for a carafe of water and for someone to take our order, even though the restaurant was practically empty. The service was extremely unprofessional. The waitress brought my friend a Coke with a glass, ice cubes, and a lemon, while my Orangina arrived without a glass. When I asked for a glass, she replied, "Do you want one too?" which seemed perfectly normal. What's more, she had forgotten to open the bottle and had to come back later. Then there was an even longer wait between each course. As for the food, the mussels were okay, but the fries were clearly mass-produced and of poor quality. My friend initially wanted a rare hamburger, but the waitress told her that wasn't possible. She then asked for her fish to be cooked rare, and the waitress replied, “I’ll try to do it.” At that point, we quickly realized it was going to be difficult, so my friend changed her mind and ordered fish and chips. But there again, it was a huge disappointment: the fish was so soaked in oil that it was literally dripping. My friend could barely eat it. When the waitress came to clear the table and asked if “everything was alright,” we explained the problem. Her response was, “Yes, but it’s deep-fried, it’s normal to have oil.” A frankly unacceptable reaction instead of acknowledging the problem. To compensate, a Coke was offered, but honestly, it didn’t make up for the overall experience. The waitress remained unpleasant and unfriendly throughout the meal, with a curt tone, and even ended up bumping into me as she left. Between the interminable wait, the lack of professionalism, the poor quality of the food, and the attitude of the service, this lunch was a huge disappointment. We will not be returning.

14/05/2026: A very warm welcome awaits you at this country restaurant. Homemade cuisine and unbeatable prices. The outdoor setting is lush and green, and parking is very easy. Every lunchtime, a simple yet hearty and complete set menu is offered at a very reasonable price.

17/05/2026: I went there with my wife on May 15th. We came for a "reconnaissance" around lunchtime and returned around 7 pm, having made a reservation by phone on the restaurant's mobile number. Craaaa! We had to make a reservation on their landline and they were fully booked. But they admitted us anyway, and it turned out to be one of my best evenings out at a restaurant. We chose the Thai section of the menu and were both delighted. The service was impeccable. I felt so at home that I wanted to address the waiter informally... He managed a table of six screaming children like a pro. The food was perfect, and generous portions too. We were lucky enough to be able to greet and congratulate the chef. And we finished our wine at the bar with a whole group of regulars. A fantastic evening. Highly recommended.

16/05/2026: I highly recommend it, the best pizza in the Basque Country! The welcome and service are impeccable, just like the pizzas, without exception. Nice setting with parking available; in short, when you're craving pizza, this is the place to go!

03/04/2026: Excellent pizzas, limited cheese options, but only quality ingredients, a nice thin crust, and generous toppings. In short, go without hesitation. Plus, the pizza makers are very friendly and extremely professional, and the wait time is ridiculously short.

11/06/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant. We were the first customers! The welcome was warm. The bistro-style food was excellent. The price might be a little high, but that's the current economic climate. This can be justified by the quality of the ingredients used. Known for its mushroom-based dishes in the fall, it's open year-round. Slightly off the beaten path from other restaurants in the area, it's a place worth discovering!

10/06/2026: Everything was great: Maxence's welcome, the quick and high-quality service, and the truly excellent starter and dessert. The only slight issue was that my meat was initially undercooked and then overcooked with a burnt taste. These things happen, but everything is homemade. I highly recommend it! The owner is very kind.

23/04/2026: Probably one of the most beautiful hotels (and room) we have stayed in. Welcomed in the hotel and spacious room with a cake and pastry and been showed around the hotel by the staff! Two small, personal remarks, I’m not a fan of sensor lighting as going to the restroom in the middle of the night I don’t need all the lights waking me up while going to the toilet. And we were missing a Bluetooth speaker in the room to play some music. The bartender that day wasn’t the best service, ofcourse expecting it to be spot on for a hotel this level. He could also just have had a bad day as it was more a more cold and uninterested vibe he was having. The diner that night was excellent! So many staff walking around but everything flawless. Original flavors and textures of ingredients which were very nice discoveries ! Ofcourse the signature dish was to die for. I’d only suggest to some of the staff to talk a little bit louder as it was sometimes hard to understand when explaining the dishes. The breakfast the next day was delicious!! It just kept coming, hard to say no as I wanted to try it all!! Impeccable service and both sweet and savory parts were super! Congratulations!

30/03/2026: Wow, what a place! We went for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The room, service and of course the restaurant were all exceptional! I must also the incredible breakfast!!
