06/12/2025: I had a lovely, lovely stay at La Villa duflot. The hotel is exceptional, with high-quality amenities everything, from the shampoo and shower gel to the creams, is supplied in collaboration with Nuxe brands, and even the spa uses these products. The hotel is pet-friendly, has its own parking, and offers electric and hybrid car charging, which is very convenient. While the location is a little far from the city center, it’s perfect if you have a car. They even have food delivery available through Uber Eats. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with great showers, separate bathrooms, and super cozy beds and pillows. The view from the rooms, overlooking the pool, adds to the experience. Service is excellent and attentive throughout. Overall, it was a wonderful stay —relaxing, comfortable, and well thought out. Highly recommended.

14/09/2024: What can I say? Delicious food, super atmosphere and very friendly waiters. And all for a very fair price. I am so glad I've discovered this restaurant in Avignon. Now I can come back and have dinner where I feel at home.

04/09/2024: Very good restaurant, and no you are not dreaming, the pancakes are as desired and very consistent. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. To all the comments which indicated that it was long when there were people, it should be noted that the pancakes are made live and not prepared in advance. Guaranteed freshness. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is worth the detour, I am delighted to have discovered it. Being from Seine et Marne, even my neighbor, who is of Breton origin, didn't believe me 🤣.

30/08/2024: Un peu sceptique du fait du concept à volonté mais la qualité et le choix ont été au rendez vous. Les crêpes aussi bien salées que sucrées étaient excellentes (aussi bonnes et garnies que dans une crêperie "classique") L'accueil et le service étaient au top. Une belle façons de terminer nos vacances en Bretagne.

25/10/2025: I've visited the Marquine farmhouse inn several times. A rustic place with a strong Landes feel, and more specifically, Chalosse. It offers a warm, even friendly welcome. The dishes offered are almost all farm-fresh. Cooked and served with love and the spirit of the land. Which includes, among others: Garbure Landaise, a rustic vegetable and duck confit soup, Foie gras, confit gizzard, and smoked duck breast make up the Landes salad. Unbeatable prices for value for money. (Producer to consumer). Parking is available in the farmyard. A drawback for people with reduced mobility: access to the inn and restrooms is not easy. The inn is located near Mugron, a quiet and peaceful place with very easy access. This village, nicknamed "the belvedere of Chalosse" due to its altitude, offers breathtaking views of the region. In Mugron, a cinema shows mainstream and art-house films. Nearby: Kiwi plantations, with the possibility of direct sales to consumers. The Abbey of Notre-Dame de Maylis has been an Olivetan Benedictine abbey since August 30, 1948. It is located in Maylis (10 km from Mugron). Gregorian chants are sung by the abbey's monks during services. The Chalosse Museum in Montfort presents a typical 19th-century farm estate (10 km from Mugron). In addition, Numerous traditional festivals take place in the surrounding area from April to October.

05/10/2025: Magnificent manor house nestled in the countryside. The rooms, despite their old-fashioned decor, are comfortable, pleasant, and very spacious. What really lets it down is the welcome and service. No information upon arrival, the service is not provided (we had requested a duvet that was never delivered to the room), and the contact is barely friendly... It's a shame.

03/06/2025: We went there last Sunday, and prior going, I tried to call at 1.40, to ensure they were still open, it says 15.00 on Google map, no answer. We still went. We arrive at 14.10, struggled to park, no real parking area, we waited by the patio entrance. We were eventually greeted by a waitress, out of breath carrying plates. We asked if we could eat, we were 2. She mumbled something like, "No, were only two doing the service, and i don't have the time" and she moved on. There were only about 5 tables with customers on the patio. What a waste of a journey going there.

25/05/2025: If you're a foodie, you love nature, peace and quiet, and being on the banks of the Charente River, then you've found the right place. A plate full of originality, homemade bread. Thanks to a service provided in the region, we found L'Amaranthe. Thank you for this wonderful discovery in Port d'Envaux, this pretty little village.

09/12/2025: Hello, We stayed at Domaine de la Corniche. The hotel isn't cheap, and I don't think it offers good value for money. In the room, there was a lot of damaged furniture, and it wasn't very clean. The decor isn't up-to-date. The first evening, we dined at the Michelin-starred restaurant, which was truly excellent, and the second evening at Le 20 du Domaine, where everything was also very good. Regarding breakfast, the staff is less than pleasant; they run out of bread very quickly, and if you ask for more, even at the beginning of breakfast, it's impossible. As for the spa, it's mediocre at best, with mold starting to appear in the changing rooms. The pool area gives the impression that it's unfinished—one part is finished, and the other is bare concrete. The hammam wasn't working. Overall, a good stay with a breathtaking view of the hotel. But €440 for 2 nights seems excessive for this experience. We wanted to thank Vanessa and the sommelier who made a very strong impression on us with their incredible service.
