08/06/2026: I had the opportunity to discover Le Couvent des Minimes during a dinner at its Michelin-starred restaurant, and the experience was remarkable. The setting is simply sublime, one of the most beautiful establishments I have ever visited. The welcome was warm and professional, and the staff were incredibly attentive throughout the evening. Dinner was a truly delightful discovery, with refined cuisine that cleverly blends the influences of Burgundy and Provence. The flavor combinations were original and offered wonderful gastronomic discoveries. The only slight point to note: several dishes featured very pronounced flavors of anise, fennel, and tarragon. Those who appreciate these flavors will undoubtedly enjoy them, but it's best to have a taste for them to fully appreciate the menu. A truly wonderful experience in an exceptional setting, which I highly recommend.

21/07/2026: A restaurant where the food is excellent, with a wide variety of choices. We were even able to take home the leftover pizza I hadn't finished, which is rare for a restaurant! A wonderful family meal, excellent and generous portions – we certainly didn't leave hungry! The service was very pleasant and welcoming. I highly recommend it! Thank you so much!!

14/08/2026: We came for lunch on Tuesday and received a very warm welcome. The staff is very friendly and the food is truly excellent! We had a wonderful meal, with a delicious main course and dessert. 😋 We ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce and the profiteroles for dessert, which I highly recommend you try! I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the team! 😊

15/08/2026: The waitresses were very awkward with my friend and me: being of Asian descent, we spoke to them in French because it's our native language and the only language we speak, and they answered us in French and then switched to English mid-sentence. Needless to say, we didn't sit down.

13/08/2026: We had high expectations of this place and sadly they weren’t met. Too many herbs everywhere, chutney was off and the bread not fresh. We won’t recommend, probably we got hyped by internet Service was friendly and fast, and the place itself is cute, too bad the kitchen is not matching that standard.

13/08/2026: The meal overall was rather mixed. The servers were so stressed that the atmosphere was quite anxiety-inducing. We waited about ten minutes for our order to be taken and another ten minutes for our food. The dish I ordered (Camembert and charcuterie) was nothing special; the charcuterie was supermarket-quality, and I make the same thing at home using products from the local Leclerc, so there's no point in doing that in a restaurant. However, the chicken burger and the ravioli looked quite substantial.

30/01/2026: We had a wonderful dinner in La Pharmacie. The steak was delicious, wine was carefully picked by the waiter and they had vegetarian options. The desserts were also amazing. Overrall, this is my favourite French food place in the city so far!

28/07/2026: A superb, iconic brasserie in the heart of Limoges, located opposite the town hall and the Limoges Aquarium. The welcome is warm and the service is friendly and professional. In addition to lunchtime meals and a bar, the brasserie also sells tobacco. Many thanks to Aurélie and Mickaël, the owners, and their entire team for their cheerful atmosphere and excellent value. I will definitely return and highly recommend it!

23/07/2026: Dreamy macarons, but all the other baked goods were simply incredibly delicious. The filled baguettes were also very tasty. The lady who served us was so attentive. Prices are naturally higher for the quality, but it's worth it!

15/06/2026: We were disappointed by this restaurant. While the room was pleasant and the server was too, the service and the pacing was very, very slow. After about 3 hours, we had our dessert. There was only one server for all of the tables (the restaurant was full). It was actually boring and painful. The next thing we didn’t like was that there was no à la carte menu (which we did not realize when we looked at the website). We had to have two 3-course menus. It was too much food for Audre and we asked to take course after course home after she tasted each dish. They had no containers and put 2 courses of fish in a jar together. There were 4 amuse bouche. The first 3 were undistinguished: a beet raviolo, a tasty tarte of the cheek of St Pierre and a fish ball pate with bottarga/poutargue on top (that had no taste). The 4th amuse was a lobster bisque that was good. Our entrée was small pieces rouget of top of peas. It wasn’t bad. Our plat was a fillet of Saint Pierre with baby artichokes and a jus d’arêtes. It was good enough. We had one of each dessert: the baba and the clafouti, with cherries in a buttermilk soup on the side. Both were good enough. We spent 170€ and left unhappy.
