10/11/2025: I went to eat French cuisine prepared by a Japanese chef. I was extremely satisfied with the atmosphere of the restaurant, the service and explanations of the dishes by the staff, the wide selection of wines, and the taste of the food itself. The specialty croquettes, scallops, monkfish meunière, and Iberian pork were all excellent. It's a restaurant I'd like to visit again.

30/10/2025: Wonderful, cosy ambience, relaxing atmosphere with great music, very attentive service and the starter, fish, bread and desserts were done well. Amuse bouche and beef could have been better.

23/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family-run hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner is a true chef who knows how to delight the palate and satisfy even the heartiest appetites. As a gourmet and gourmand, I was in heaven. The owner's wife welcomes and serves you. The breakfast is very comprehensive. The hotel is quiet and very well insulated. Ideally located for immersing yourself in the world of Ferdinand Cheval, whose tomb on one side and ideal palace on the other are just a few minutes' walk away in the town of Hauterives itself. The parking lot is gated and the entrance is secured with a keypad. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in a beautiful region nestled between the countryside and the mountains.

28/05/2026: A great stopover at the inn before our stay in Annecy; don't miss the Bresse chicken! The welcome was pleasant and professional. We didn't try the pool, but we'll have to come back. A stop not to be missed.

From the brilliant organization of the entire event by Anne and her team, to the execution on the day itself, everything was perfect! Our guests had a wonderful time, and the decorations (springlike during our visit) were magical! 08/05/2026: A huge thank you to Anne and her entire team. We had an unforgettable wedding in a magical setting. Anne guided us through every step of the preparations. On the big day, we had a wonderful evening, thanks to Chef Guillaume for the meal, and the following day we finished with a magnificent brunch. Not to mention the beautiful rooms where we stayed. In short, everything was perfect.

The service was impeccable, quick, and seamless. The welcome was pleasant and efficient. A 10/10, and the prices are more than reasonable.

18/03/2026: Certainly the best hotel in the region. The welcome was warm and very professional. The room was large, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was spacious with fresh towels (no old rags) and a heated towel rail. The restaurant was equally excellent, serving fresh, skillfully prepared food. I'm adding this because it's become rare these days in the hotel industry.

17/05/2026: Excellent stay at this hotel, I highly recommend it! The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly, and always available. The location is ideal: quiet yet close to the motorway, Spain, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, etc. The room was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant. A wonderful experience; we will gladly return.

16/05/2026: We got married at Les Jardins de Bakea on April 25, 2026, and we want to thank Corine and Eric Duval and their entire team from the bottom of our hearts for this perfect moment. Everyone was extremely professional and welcoming, both during the preparations and on the wedding day itself. The cocktail hour was fantastic, the meal delicious, and the setting charming. Once again, we couldn't have dreamed of anything better for this special day. Thank you again, Thomas and Sarah.

22/04/2025: We had a wonderful meal at La Lyriste. The three-course menu was surprisingly delicious. Every dish was carefully prepared and very flavorful. The children's menu was also surprising; not the standard fries and chicken nuggets, but a smaller version of the menu that was also carefully considered. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely eat there again.
