29/08/2026: This was the pleasant culinary surprise of our trip along the Canal du Midi. Delicious food, good value for money. Attentive and impeccable service.

28/08/2026: Google said it was open until 10 pm, but we arrived at 5:30 pm on a Friday and the store was closed. Our day was ruined.

31/07/2026: The paella of the day was really disappointing; the rice was overcooked, and the chicken and shrimp were undercooked. It's a shame, because the service and welcome were excellent, but the paella was not.

The food was absolutely delicious, they were open all day, the waitresses were friendly and helpful, the restrooms were clean—in short, everything was perfect! 28/09/2026: It is with mixed feelings that I write this review. Although Le Trumilou looks the same as the 30 years we have been eating there, I could immediately tell something had changed. The menu was much smaller and we could not locate any of the people who owned it for so many years. Then I found out the Dumond family sold it in 2024. I am sad to say that the menu selection is too limited, the food is not as good and the service is adequate but not like it used to be. The involvement of a family who owns and runs the place obviously makes a big difference. I wish the Dumond family well and will always remember the many good times we had at Le Trumilou. Hard to realize we will not be making anymore memories there.

25/09/2026: ★★★★★ We had a wonderful evening at Trumilou with a group of seven, and I can’t recommend it enough, especially for larger groups. The restaurant is incredibly accommodating, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a fantastic location right on the banks of the Seine … a lovely surprise! considering it’s location, it has surprisingly few tourist and a lot of French people will go here which is a good sign. The food is traditional French cuisine at its best: duck with prune sauce, classic steak frites, and an excellent daily fish special. Everything feels authentic and unpretentious. But what really makes Trumilou special is Olivier and his wonderful team. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality make you feel right at home. A true Parisian gem, and a place we’ll happily return to!

31/08/2026: Everything is perfect! A superb location, especially the view from our table overlooking the Grand Somme. The service was very pleasant, and the daily specials, featuring local produce and saffron grown on-site, were delicious. The €29 set menu changes depending on the harvest. A must-try! I highly recommend it.

31/08/2026: This establishment is nestled in a verdant setting in the heart of the Chartreuse mountains. The welcome is discreet yet friendly. On this sunny day, we had lunch outside in the shade, enjoying the pleasant breeze. The meal was simple, featuring local or farm-fresh produce. Enhanced with the house herbs and saffron, it was a delight, as evidenced by the beautifully presented dishes. All this with young and very efficient service, and with Capucine's warm smile. We were absolutely delighted. Thank you for this moment of pure bliss.

28/02/2026: A particularly friendly welcome, but also a fantastic meal! The starter, the Egg Cocotte with Auvergne Blue Cream, was truly delicious. The Beef Tartare was tasty but also presented with care. My wife had a Cabillaud on a bed of ratatouille and had to think long and hard about when she had ever had such a delicious meal. For dessert, we chose the Crème Brûlée, which we hadn't encountered in years. In short, highly recommended!

18/09/2026: Beautiful setting, terrace facing meadows where cows sometimes graze, very good local cuisine, warm welcome, a good moment of relaxation for coffee on some comfortable deck chairs and armchairs on the terrace.

06/09/2026: The setting is very pleasant, the products are homemade, and what I ate was good. However, I was very disappointed with the "gourmet tea" at €9.50. When the plate arrived, I was truly surprised by the quantities: a scoop of ice cream served in a small shot glass, a small chocolate mousse in a similar container, and a tiny slice of tart. I completely understand the concept of petit fours, but the portions seemed truly paltry. At €9.50, I was expecting something genuinely indulgent. For me, the value for money was simply not there. It's a shame, because the setting is very nice and the homemade food is good.

25/09/2026: A fantastic discovery! I had the crispy prawns with basil as a starter, followed by the Black Angus as a main course, and everything was absolutely excellent! The ingredients were flavorful, the cooking perfectly executed, and the flavor combinations truly successful. The service was also very pleasant and the atmosphere warm and inviting. A wonderful restaurant in Fontainebleau, which I highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

24/03/2026: We stopped there by chance because the ski lift was out of order. And that's when the "trap" tightened: Excellent experience! Warm service, delicious and beautifully presented dishes. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the culinary expertise. And reasonable prices. We went back three times! I highly recommend it!
