20/02/2026: It's not what it used to be. Before, you could go there, have a nice Alsatian dish, and enjoy a pleasant time. Now, the staff's only concern seems to be increasing the bill. It's a shame; Kochersberg is losing a great place.

15/02/2026: The Valentine's Day menu was exceptional, truly beautiful and delicious. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The setting and decor were magnificent.

10/03/2026: The food is very good. I had the carbonnade, it was perfect and reasonably priced at €19. The week before, we went to a chain restaurant (the dumpster fire), I had the carbonnade there too, and I paid the same price only to have heartburn all afternoon. So I think it might be a good idea to go back more often to small restaurants like this one where the food isn't mass-produced and the waitress is friendlier.

We were served by Othmane, who was excellent in every way. Very professional and attentive to his customers. We will definitely return on our next trip to Paris!

23/02/2026: In a sumptuous setting and relaxing atmosphere, La Mare au Diable offers gourmet cuisine at an acceptable price. A mini raw fish taco and three amuse-bouches are served before the starter, then nothing between courses. I think a different distribution would be appreciated. The tagliatelle in the Parmesan wheel is very comforting, but one expects more, perhaps a bit more texture... The shrimp and lobster ravioli is sorely lacking in generosity; one feels a slight frustration that is out of place when one only allows oneself this kind of outing a handful of times a year. Otherwise, everything was perfect: service worthy of a fine restaurant, just the right seasoning, perfect cooking... A moment suspended in time in the house of George Sand...

11/01/2026: Beware of groups with children!!! The manager refused to serve us, claiming he was out of crepes... The real reason was that we had several children... A couple came in right after us to ask for crepes, and the manager welcomed them. He could have simply told us there were too many of us, and we would have accepted it.

However, the lunch menu is a bit pricey for my taste, although understandable given the quality of the ingredients, all organic! (only available as a set menu). There are many extra charges for the chef's suggestion and some desserts… The portions could also be more generous…
