19/04/2026: Original yet excellent recipes: scallops with rhubarb, apples, and walnuts, beautifully presented... so tempting, you could eat it! Duck breast with melon and barbecue sauce is a must-try. I was hesitant about the barbecue sauce, but I was wrong... It was excellent. Other recipes are also worth discovering... Bravo for your originality and this delightful culinary experience!

06/06/2026: Worst milkshake of my life. Probably just water mixed with some vague vanilla syrup. And a milkshake should have ice cream, which I'm still looking for. I would have preferred the waiter to insult my mother; I wouldn't have taken it so badly, considering the price of the milkshake.
31/05/2026: We're sitting on the terrace; it's Sunday, 6:20 pm, and I want to thank the young man serving on the terrace. He's very friendly, professional, helpful, and always smiling!

We were delighted to rediscover dishes that are no longer available anywhere and are part of the French culinary heritage (rillettes, mushrooms à la grecque, snout in vinaigrette, celery remoulade, etc.).

I said sauce, but it was something else entirely.
The waitress who cooked, I think, was very dirty, with stains all over her shirt and pants.
1 point for the baba dessert, which wasn't bad. Avoid at all costs. It was impossible to take a picture for those watching.

13/04/2026: A charming, northern French atmosphere in the heart of Mons-en-Pévèle. The chicken casserole with Maroilles cheese was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful. However, the woman who worked at the reception/cook was less than welcoming. No greeting, and her approach to taking payment was reminiscent of a "give me your money and get out" attitude.

P.S.: For raclette, you need to reserve so the restaurant can prepare the equipment. 😉

12/12/2025: The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, not very convenient for public transport, especially since there are practically no sidewalks along the roads. The hotel is fairly comfortable but a bit dated. The restaurant is a bit pricey and offers limited choices. The spa is a major plus and very good.
08/12/2025: I only tried the spa, where I was kindly invited by my best friend. After paying our entrance fee, we went down to the spa and waited 10 minutes at reception before realizing that no one was coming. There were no more bathrobes available in the changing rooms, and no one to tell us anything. We took the two remaining bath towels and went around. There was no hot water for the herbal teas. In short, it was very, very poor! I won't be going back.
