21/02/2026: For once, we followed TripAdvisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. The roast chicken and its jus were excellent. There's no doubt about the origin of the poultry; it's farm-raised. The service was very pleasant, and the portions were generous.

28/04/2026: Meh! This bistro is only good for the decor and the atmosphere. The menu looks promising, but the lentils on my plate were tasteless. The waitress brought me a vinaigrette to "improve" the flavor, and my dish was bland. The veal carpaccio with Piedmontese sauce was also tasteless as a starter. We were told about the side dish options, and we chose one that was never served. Instead, we ended up with fries. Where did the mashed potatoes go, the waitress asked? We took the bill and left. An address to forget.

27/04/2026: Avoid this place… They ask you to leave as soon as you've finished your plate… Service is rushed to speed things up and increase sales… It's a shame, the setting is nice, but that's all…

05/05/2026: We've had the pleasure of stopping at Les Marmottes several times, both in summer and winter, and it's always a real treat ⛰️ In winter, under the snow, the atmosphere is magical: few people, a peaceful setting, perfect for taking a break and warming up with a nice hot drink ☕️ In summer, it's a completely different atmosphere, much more lively! The restaurant is extremely popular (and you quickly understand why), so it's best to plan ahead and book if possible. Even so, the wait is pleasant: there are shaded outdoor tables and a small bar where you can enjoy a drink while taking in the surroundings 🌿 The location is ideal, with a large, easily accessible parking lot and, above all, an absolutely stunning 360° view of the Pyrenees, with animals roaming freely all around… an incredible setting 🐄 Inside, you'll find yourself in a true mountain restaurant: all wood, warm, and welcoming. The staff are very dedicated, energetic, and genuinely friendly, even when it's busy. As for the food, it's flawless: local, homemade dishes that are generous and delicious. The portions are substantial, colorful, and well-balanced… we tried several dishes, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them from start to finish 🍽️ Whether for a quick bite or a truly indulgent experience, it's a place we always return to with pleasure. A wonderful stop, as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate ✨

23/04/2026: We've been bereft since it closed. Claude had done a great job succeeding Serge, with whom we also got along very well. It's sad to visit Le Soulor without having eaten there, and without experiencing the wonderful atmosphere that used to be there.

08/05/2026: The service was perfect, but the food was a different story altogether: hair in the turbot dish, a shrimp antenna in the sweetbreads. The cooking was inconsistent. The dessert menu featured an excellent crème brûlée, a poorly balanced raspberry-pistachio entremet with very little raspberry, a Calais cake with far too much buttercream and a dry glaze, and a macaron with a Bueno spread—they could have done better. The owner offered us complimentary aperitifs. A disappointing experience.

24/04/2026: A Christmas gift from our son, we discovered this place on Thursday, April 23, 2026. A wonderful time, an excellent meal. From the aperitif to the chicory at the end, everything was delicious. A warm welcome, the dishes were explained, everything was fresh and homemade. The couple who run it are friendly and helpful. A must-try.
