05/08/2026: Disappointment!!! This was our third visit. It will be the last. There were only 3 tables in the dining room! Starter: terrine... No preparation required, just presentation... The starters took 50 minutes to arrive! The portions have been reduced, which is a real shame. This used to be our favorite little restaurant on the slopes...

26/08/2026: A real discovery this weekend! There were four of us, and honestly, it had been a while since we'd eaten so well! Everything was incredible, from start to finish. And in terms of value for money, it was unbeatable: for around €40 per person, we had an aperitif, a starter, a main course, a bottle of wine, a cheese plate, dessert, and even a digestif (from Dom Papa to Takamaka 😍). An amazing meal, a truly memorable experience, and above all, a wonderful team! The servers were incredibly friendly, offered excellent advice, and we really felt right at home. A huge thank you to the restaurant for this fantastic experience; we highly recommend it! A little tip: remember to book ahead; it's definitely worth it!

12/09/2026: Very welcoming staff. The meat (ribeye or duck breast) was excellent, cooked to perfection. The two sauces offered were very good. The homemade ratatouille and the sautéed potatoes with garlic and rosemary were fantastic! Very generous portions. Definitely worth trying! Thanks again!

15/08/2026: My daughter, whom I visit every year in Castellane, recommended this restaurant. I love good meat, and I was blown away! A beautiful 500g ribeye steak from Piedmont, Italy. I asked for it rare, and it was perfectly cooked and tender. Congratulations to the chefs! My mouth is still watering. It's a shame I live so far away (Saint-Malo, Brittany). Finally, a place that does its job so well! Hats off to you, and keep up the good work! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

11/10/2026: My partner and I stopped by La Cabanon de la Butte for a lovely lunch on our way to Sacré-Cœur, and I’m so glad we did! The food was amazing, and the service was absolutely impeccable. Everyone was so kind, welcoming and helpful, which made the whole experience even more special. We tried the escargots, beef bourguignon and beef tartare, and it was such a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some classic French dishes. For dessert we had an apple tart each, which was served with chantilly cream and salted caramel sauce (so beautiful! Chef's kiss!). It was such a lovely little stop during our time in Paris, and we left feeling genuinely happy with our experience. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! 🇫🇷❤️

25/05/2026: Wonderful memories of our week-long stay at La Buffe during the February school holidays. The hotel is very well located, close to the village center, cross-country ski trails, the shuttle to the downhill ski slopes, and hiking trails (for the summer). Breakfast and dinner (half-board) are very good, quite generous, and with a real effort to use local products (including a wine list featuring some delightful surprises from the Isère region). Finally, the service is always efficient and friendly. In short, a very good stay in Autrans!

29/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at Le Bouton d’Or. I ordered a Black Angus ribeye steak cooked rare. Unfortunately, it was served medium-rare. The meat was not what I expected, given the dish's description and price. The seared tuna was also, in our opinion, far too dry and nowhere near what we expected from a seared tuna. Another disappointment came with the aperitif: we were served simple, mass-produced crackers on a plate. For a bill of around €90 for two people, including only two courses and two glasses of wine, we expected a higher standard of service. The only positive point was the presentation of the dishes, which we found very attractive. Unfortunately, this was not enough to compensate for our disappointment with the food and the service. The service was also very disappointing. When paying, I calmly explained that we were disappointed with our meal. I felt that my comment wasn't really taken into account. We then left without a "thank you," "goodbye," or any other kind of exchange. For nearly €90, we left with a real sense of disappointment and felt that the value for money wasn't there. This review reflects only our personal experience during our visit and our feelings as customers. Unfortunately, we will not be repeating the experience.

21/09/2026: Highly recommended by the Routard guide!!! I honestly don't understand. The welcome was very cold, the set menu was a typical truck stop meal for 18 euros, tasteless, and they're taking advantage of their location with no competition in the village square. It's outrageous.
