09/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Auberge du Froehn. The menu was excellent, the decor very elegant and charming. We especially loved the orange-carrot-ginger sorbet with its gingerbread liqueur: an original and truly delicious combination. While I don't usually like mango, I discovered a superb pairing of flavors with the caramel milk ice cream... simply sublime. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end and recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

09/05/2026: The place is alright. Nothing special or fancy. Just a small home style restaurant that serves crepes and gallettes. Savoury gallettes I found lacked a bit of flavour, perhaps salt but something was definitely missing. I recommend ordering the sweet crepes with any of the Chantilly options. Much better with that.

12/06/2026: Delicious carpaccio de poulpe and moules with a roquefort sauce (and excellent frites). Very attentive service and lovely vibe with gentle Brazilian music playing in the background. Good views of the port. Loved it.

28/06/2026: A first for us, L5. Absolutely amazing! The grated potatoes weren't heavy or greasy at all! Perfectly crispy! Served with unlimited refills, a well-seasoned fromage blanc, a nice salad, and charcuterie. Dessert! And it's all homemade! What more could you ask for to have a fantastic culinary experience! Still as good as ever, the only downside is why go looking for langoustines in Scotland, so-called ice langoustines, when the region has several fishing ports offering live langoustines at reasonable prices during this season, a shame for the planet and for fishing professionals.

23/05/2026: My mother and I came for lunch, we had booked, we ate very well (sea bream with Nantais butter) and we wanted to highlight the impeccable service from Romiane who was very attentive throughout the meal, befitting the prestige of the place ✨

23/06/2026: Just okay. Elaborate French cuisine, but lacking charisma. Dishes that were off-center, lackluster, bland, and lacking in effort... We tried the entire menu: both tasting menus, in their two variations. No dish stood out, rather errors in plate design and preparation: impossible flavors, poorly achieved textures, badly executed techniques... There's a lot of culinary work missing here. Aside from that, an enviable location, a beautiful, spacious, and well-decorated restaurant, good service... And the house wine was spectacular!
