15/09/2024: Loyal customers of the Sarreguemines restaurant "A l'Ange gourmand" since its acquisition by Christine and Philippe, my wife and I never stop saying how delighted we are to have found in this establishment, a meeting place much more friendly than commercial, a warm and friendly welcome, traditional cuisine of such quality that our ancestors can feel relieved, reassured and almost jealous. Our weekly meeting in this magical place is always a great reward after a week of activity. Whether it's the menus, the daily specials or certain one-off services, there is no dish that will not delight our taste buds. The kitchens are behind the scenes where each raw food benefits from a top-notch culinary metamorphosis for the well-being of an increasingly demanding clientele that has already been won over. As for Christine and Philippe, always very close to your table, smiling and providing excellent advice, they form an inseparable and complementary couple for a result that meets your expectations. But let's not forget the rising star, Webmaster and head waiter in his spare time, the essential Nicolas, the couple's young prodigy. Finally, by taking the plunge, “A l’Ange gourmand” will reward you with a caring, warm atmosphere and a very pleasant moment. Thanks to the whole team!

08/07/2025: Very disappointing. Mediocre service with a rude waitress who barely spoke to us. The food was pretty good, but the value for money was poor. The only positive aspect was the consideration given to someone with dietary restrictions.

19/06/2025: A small restaurant in a tiny courtyard guarded by an old fig tree. A pleasant, unpretentious atmosphere. You don't notice the hustle and bustle of the street. At lunch, there were only two dishes to choose from per course (starter, main course, dessert). The dishes are original and creative, and good to very good, but not (yet?) Michelin-star worthy. However, you'll definitely be full. Three menus and two glasses of wine cost around 100 euros. The restaurant isn't particularly suitable for small children, but it's highly recommended for a refined break from sightseeing. The starter of baked eggplant and olive oil mayonnaise was very delicately seasoned, while the main course of rice was a bit dry. The service was a bit cool, but the owner was very friendly. I would go again.

03/12/2024: Staff who take great care of customers, doing everything to satisfy us. We really feel welcomed. The rooms are pretty and clean, well soundproofed, the bedding comfortable. The bathroom is the only point to improve: the shower head which cannot be adjusted in height and a non-watertight wall which means that water gets everywhere. It's very unpleasant. On the other hand, I appreciated the Nuxe products.

04/12/2024: The stay was perfect, we had excellent memories. The decor of the establishment is tasteful, both outside and inside. With lots of greenery. The care & well-being area is complete: sauna, hammam, swimming pool, massage. The dining room and bar are welcoming. The room we had was spacious, pretty, clean. Everything is functional. The breakfast is delicious and complete. Special mention to Mr. Esteban D. the director who pampered us. 1000 thanks for EVERYTHING. We wanted to thank you in person but we didn't know who you were :) I have never seen in my life (and I have been in hotels around the world) such friendliness and sense of service. We have already recommended you to friends. Bravo for the quality of your establishment. Continue like this.

03/12/2024: Regarding the restaurant: We discovered the restaurant as a family during lunch. The setting is very pleasant and warm, the service as well, the value for money is very good. We ate quality products in a pleasant atmosphere and had a great time. Bravo for these redevelopments and this place that I didn't know, we will come back to it!

21/09/2024: An intimate place, perfect service and tasty and inventive cuisine far from traditional Alsatian dishes. Taste the dishes of this restaurant for the first time and you will undoubtedly come back!

07/09/2024: I chose a cod steak with lemon with coconut milk and risotto and vegetables. Very well served. The service was pleasant and fast despite the crowds this Saturday and the terrace is pleasant in this weather. I recommend.
