04/05/2026: We had come for a quick bite while waiting for our train. Usually, the restaurants near train stations serve very mediocre, or even bad, food. We were very pleasantly surprised: a very professional and friendly welcome, a lovely and refined setting, excellent food, very good value for money, and impeccable service. In short, a perfect experience.

03/05/2026: A coffee on Sunday morning: very friendly waiter and the Americano was reasonably priced.

23/02/2026: I came to eat with my friend after a great day of skiing. The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was friendly. We chose the tartiflette and it was delicious. Thank you to the Crot mountain pasture for the warm welcome.

27/04/2026: I went to eat at La Pause Gourmande with a friend who owns a restaurant and also used to run a butcher shop and catering business with her husband. The daily special was advertised as salmon, but it was definitely not salmon. We pointed this out, and they told us it was wild salmon, which is truly disrespectful and deceiving. The fish was very white, with only the sauce having a hint of pink, and certainly no salmon flavor. Furthermore, we both ordered quiches for dinner, and we were disappointed there as well. You really had to search for the ham; my friend counted them and found four measly little cubes of ham in her small quiche. I wonder where the 4.8 rating on Google comes from.

22/04/2026: We've been going to La Pause Gourmande for three years now. Morning coffee or takeaway meals, and this year we're having lunch there. Super friendly welcome, excellent value for money. Homemade. A must-try! 😊

08/05/2026: The height of disrespect and poor service. We asked to be seated on the terrace for a drink. The waiter said yes, no one came to see us, and after a 20-minute wait, another waiter came to tell us they were no longer serving, despite my having told him we'd been waiting for 20 minutes and that a table had already been served, even though they arrived well after us and were seated without asking first. The waiter wouldn't listen. I really won't be coming back; it's a lack of organization and respect for customers.

08/05/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is very welcoming. The team takes the time to attend to customers and take orders without any pressure. The food is excellent, beautifully presented, and of high quality. A superb restaurant, truly fantastic!

20/04/2026: The residence is very well located. The accommodation is a bit cramped (theoretically for 6, but in practice for 4 or 5 max). There are a lot of stairs to climb up and down, but the staff are very welcoming and professional.

02/12/2025: How sad to learn of the closure of Bistrot du Parc... The food was perfect, everything you could ask for in a bistro. You could go there without hesitation, for lunch or a drink, and you were always greeted with a smile. It felt like home... This is the first time I've felt so sad about the closure of an establishment. We'll miss the whole team. And especially Cédric, with his humor and kindness. Best of luck to the whole team. And good luck to Bistrot de Loulou, which is taking its place, to try and maintain the same high standards...

07/05/2026: I ordered the vegetarian option; it wasn't great, not much flavor, but the presentation was beautiful. The non-vegetarian options were very good.

05/05/2026: I've been a customer since the beginning; I love their cuisine—it's refined with vibrant flavors. The lunch menu offers excellent value for money and is a real treat. The new premises are also a success, and the servers are friendly and professional.

07/04/2026: The quality of the food has declined since my last visit. I found the burger-style dishes to be heavy (very thick buns that weren't cooked enough), and the ground beef patties were undercooked. The food is still homemade, which is a plus. However, I avoid this place because I'm no longer satisfied with the food.

13/05/2026: We arrived on May 13th at 7 pm for three people. We were very pleasantly surprised to find expertly prepared dishes with exquisite flavors. The meat was incredibly tender, the young rooster divine, and the sea bream with a heavenly dill sauce was delicious. The limoncello tiramisu was amazing, and the crème brûlée was a delight. Not to mention an exceptional Nicolas de Bourgueil. Everything was perfect, and the service from the attentive and very kind staff was excellent. All this at a reasonable price.
