10/08/2026: The establishment lives up to its name. The food is simple, but the service is a bit slow. The staff is friendly, and the decor has a casual, open-air feel, but it's a little dated for my taste. It has a good seating capacity.

15/10/2026: Good evening. I went yesterday with my son and noticed some changes. The service was slow and not very courteous. No more chips with the aperitif. I ordered a pepper steak and was very disappointed; there were only six small slices. I'm a regular customer, and normally the steak is twice the size. So we didn't have dessert. I think we'll look for another restaurant. Have a good evening.

09/06/2026: So, it's been almost a year. We decided to book La Chartreuse du Bignac for our wedding. It was a natural progression for us, since the proposal took place in this breathtaking setting. For the past year, La Chartreuse has been with us every step of the way, helping us choose the menu, the wines, and organizing everything. The big day was on June 6th, with exclusive use of the estate so our guests could extend the celebration. This weekend was unforgettable for everyone, from the planning to the culinary delights. Everything was wonderful, from the cocktail hour to the meal, and even breakfast. Thank you to Jean Twari and his team for the culinary creations, thank you to Marina Arfeuille for the organization and her support, thank you to Pauline Lavignerie and Bastien for the service in the rooms. Thank you to the entire team at La Chartreuse. For a truly unique and unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this estate; it's simply perfect.

25/05/2026: An authentic country house, renovated with great care and taste. The ideal place for a charming and very relaxing stay, whether by the pool overlooking the surrounding hills, in the shade of the chestnut trees or on the terrace of the excellent restaurant.

04/07/2026: Here, we love: Rachelle's cooking and her delicious dishes. Eating local. Arnaud's good humor and wit. We also love lingering after our meal to chat with them. The restaurant is a must-visit in town. You can no longer fill up your car here, but you can fill up on good times. 5 stars, and if I could have given more, I would have been delighted.

The restaurant is very clean, the service is impeccable, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the lovely bouquet of flowers on each table, as well as the basket of assorted breads—a very nice and original touch. The dishes were delicious and served promptly. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend. We will gladly return!

27/08/2026: Opera is one of my favourite cakes and i had to try it in the place it was invented. It was perfect, the standard that all Opera cakes should be measured by. We also bought a croissant and a pain au chocolat to go, they were amaizing as well. The service was impeccable, the waiter was very polite and we had a nice conversation. When in Paris i will visit them for sure 🙂
