27/08/2025: At the beginning of the summer, I had the chance to go to this restaurant with my family. The owner of the establishment was very friendly and we were able to talk with her at length during our visit. In terms of gastronomy, everything on the menu was tempting. Each dish was made with local products. I personally had the right to a succulent goat cheese and honey salad with seasonal vegetables and goat cheese from a producer near Vals, it was delicious. In summary, I recommend anyone coming to Vals to try this restaurant, it is well worth the detour.

02/01/2026: Almost daily, I go to "Les Tontons," which has gradually become "My headquarters"!!! I stay for about two and a half hours each time, at the bar, and regularly in the restaurant, with friends. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and we're all on a first-name basis—Stevens (the owner), the waitresses, and me. The food is excellent and plentiful. The decor is simple but tasteful. The waitresses are very friendly, both at the bar, where Alizé works and prepares drink orders for the dining room (you need an amazing memory, often with four colleagues in the dining room, and the owner also serving!!!), and in the dining room, where Loetitia, Morgan, Maelle, and Laurine busily manage the numerous tables (150 covers possible). In short, a great place to be!!! Thank you all (don't forget the chef and his assistants). Since this review, I've witnessed scenes where people are completely lacking in manners. They walk in, as if it's a free-for-all, and go straight to the restroom, of course, without even ordering a glass of mineral water! This attitude speaks volumes about the indifference of some people who think they can get away with anything, and who are then surprised when someone points it out and refuses them entry! "Les Tontons" is a restaurant, not a public urinal! At my parents' brasserie, this kind of behavior earned its perpetrators a bucket of ice water down their underwear, to the laughter of the customers, including police officers, and believe me, they weren't going to "file a complaint," because the police would throw them out!

11/01/2026: Excellent value for money. Only one set menu, but good, perfectly cooked ingredients. No frills. Very friendly chef and waitress. Highly recommended.

02/01/2026: A great experience! The entire inn has a classic décor that immediately puts you in touch with the style of the southern French countryside. The location is strategic, allowing easy visits to cities like Carcassonne, Toulouse and Albi, as well as other equally charming smaller towns. The breakfast was sensational, with an excellent selection of local products. The owners were always very helpful, promptly assisting whenever we needed information or any extra service. The room, spacious, very comfortable and quiet, provided us with great hours of rest. A stay that combines charm, tranquility and hospitality.

02/12/2025: A delightful surprise! We received a very warm welcome. Tina, Jost, and Charles are hosts who know how to make your stay enjoyable. The setting is idyllic and the place is very peaceful. Breakfast was fantastic! I highly recommend it.

27/08/2025: A little tea room in Lourmarin… I was just planning on sipping a quiet cup of tea, and then the owner (a lovely old lady) showed up with mini lemon cakes. Seriously… they weren't cakes, they were bursts of sunshine packed into bite-sized pieces. I took a bite and Provence flashed before my eyes: the cicadas, the kitschy tablecloths with olives, it was all there. Before going in, I was just a curious tourist. When I left, I was still a curious tourist… but completely hooked on those divine lemon cakes.

05/11/2025: There were 5 of us as a family on November 1st, it was perfect, very warm welcome and very good meal, we'll definitely do it again.

08/12/2025: Upon entering this farm inn, you'll immediately notice the large fireplace where meats are cooking – it's enough to make your mouth water. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The attentive owners serve the most succulent and hearty regional cuisine. These rediscovered flavors transport you back to the time of your grandmothers. Between sharing recipes and anecdotes, the experience is unforgettable.

06/10/2025: A very pleasant and unpretentious welcome, simply warm. A very "farmhouse inn" atmosphere, generous and tasty cuisine, remarkable wine (Syrah), a sweet note considering the service. We will definitely return on our next visit to this region.

13/02/2026: Emilie and Sophie's welcome and attentiveness were simply EXCEPTIONAL! Thank you to them! The room was so clean, and the shower was spotless, nothing to complain about! The homemade meals, morning and evening, were just SO GOOD!!! The slopes are only 1km away, and there's a shuttle right outside the hotel, so it's a 15/10 overall! I can't wait to come back

01/02/2026: Three nights at the Adray for a ski trip with friends. First of all, the hotel is very easy to reach from Moutiers with few winding roads. That's a definite plus. No parking problems at the hotel. It takes less than five minutes by car to get to the Montalbert ski lifts, and parking is readily available. Alternatively, there's a shuttle bus with a stop just 30 meters away. The hotel, with its intimate size, has a family atmosphere and a certain cozy mountain charm, enhanced by the warm welcome and kindness of Sophie and Emilie. The hotel has its strengths and a few weaknesses, but for this price range, it's hard to find better in a large resort like La Plagne.

18/02/2026: It's always a real pleasure to have lunch here: excellent seasonal menu, top-notch staff with great advice, and a friendly atmosphere. In short, a must.

18/02/2026: My wife and I had lunch at this place. The food was decent, with a few minor issues, but moving on. However, the service was completely inadequate. The waiter wasn't friendly enough!
