26/06/2026: So, this superb little brasserie on Rue Lamarck, right in the heart of Montmartre, very close to Sacré-Cœur... Great wines, superb beers... Great food... And above all, superb, super friendly staff! That's it, folks! 🥰

27/06/2026: A true 5/5! Le Bistrot du Paradou is a restaurant with a unique soul. I would say it’s one of the best meals I ever had. Authentic to Paradou and unique on its own. We went on Friday, they served an amazing soup and lamb. Their cheese plate and desserts are incredible too. Staff is happy and you can feel it. They are warm and welcoming. At the end it turns into a party, people dancing and sharing a good time. Can’t wait to be back. There’s no restaurant that can beat a home-kind place.

10/06/2026: The hotel is definitely convenient because it's very close to Disneyland Paris, whether you're driving or walking: a 10-minute walk takes you to the Bussy Saint George station, and two stops on the RER A takes you to the park entrances. That said, I wasn't thrilled with the hotel, which was undergoing renovations, and as a result, everything was poorly organized: it wasn't clear where the reception was, and we even had trouble getting to the rooms and elevators. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing, but for me, there were two major downsides: the light in the room at night was as bright as day, probably due to the streetlights outside, but mostly because the curtains didn't cover the window properly, so I couldn't sleep; another problem was that there was only one towel per person: no hand towel, and no extra small one, which is essential on some occasions. The breakfast was plentiful, but nothing special. Overall, a good place to stay, but with some aspects that could definitely be improved. I hope that these little things will improve as the work is completed. The quality-price ratio is still good.

10/06/2026: After a 3-day seminar, the only positive point was the bedding; otherwise, for 170 euros plus meals, it was a disaster. The breakfast buffet was the poorest in France, and the chicken and fish meals were always the same. Apart from the welcome by a charming lady, it's unacceptable to charge such an amount. Furthermore, the arrival was chaotic, with a manager who, I think, dismissed a new employee while yelling at him. There was no housekeeping during our stay, and no towels were provided.

13/06/2026: Overall, a decent experience at this restaurant. The welcome lacked a bit of warmth: the service felt a little rushed, which is understandable in this industry, but a more relaxed approach would have been appreciated to make us feel more welcome 🤩. Fortunately, the young waiter definitely raised the bar with his pleasant and professional attitude, making the experience smoother and more enjoyable. As for the food, the dishes were perfectly acceptable, without any particular flaws. I was initially aiming for a 3-star rating… but there was a little twist at the end: when I paid the bill a bit too confidently (without checking 😅), a billing error was made, and the cashier caught up with me just before I left to give me the difference. An honest and much appreciated gesture that clearly changed my final impression. In short: an average experience, but saved by a good waiter and honest service at the till 👌🏿.

31/05/2026: I had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Hotel Les Terrasses. My room was spacious and comfortable, and impeccably clean. The garden is a real bonus for relaxing and enjoying a drink served by very pleasant hosts. There's a large shopping center right next door, and an underpass beneath the train station provides quick access to the city center and old town.

18/04/2026: Exceptional restaurant, The best restaurant in Mantes-la-Jolie. Impeccable service, everything is homemade with quality ingredients and generous portions. The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Excellent value for money, €37 for a starter, main course, and dessert. Given the quality of the food, I really expected to pay more. I will definitely be back. The only thing missing, I would say, was some background music. Thank you again for your warm welcome and for the wonderful meal.

14/04/2026: A truly beautiful, intimate place that gently transports you back in time. The food is absolutely delicious, made with fresh, homemade ingredients. The beef cheek is braised to perfection. The service is relaxed; you should take the time to savor this convivial moment in this lovely, warm dining room. We'll definitely be back to try the small outdoor courtyard when the weather is nicer...

03/07/2026: Meal for two following recommendations from previous reviews. Sat outside with our dog which wasn’t a problem. Ordered the veal and mixed grill. Cooking good but quality of produce not the best we’ve tasted. Staff lovely and supported our poor attempts at speaking French.

03/06/2026: Wonderful pizzas and good service, unfortunately the service deteriorates when it comes time to pay. We waited 30 minutes before we could leave, which was a bit disappointing.

30/04/2026: A wonderful discovery, both in terms of the hotel and the restaurant. I recommend booking a room with a sea view, which is very close to the hotel. While parking isn't the most convenient, the major advantage is that it's free all around the hotel and year-round in Luc-sur-Mer.

14/04/2026: I want to apologize for yesterday. I was the one singing on the terrace, and I apologize if the songs were disturbing. The bartenders weren't responsible and asked us several times to stop, which we didn't. They did their job very well; it's simply that we didn't respect their requests.

13/04/2026: I just left that bar and I'll never be seen there again, even though I'm a regular. On the terrace, a group of 8 to 10 people started chanting homophobic songs, eventually singing "Marc Dutrou is innocent, the liars are the children," and "the children under the terrace and the woman under the terrace," referring to Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès. A waiter from the bar was singing with them. We reported this to the other waiters, but they weren't bothered and didn't ask them to leave.
