08/02/2026: We celebrated our friend's 40th birthday yesterday at Auberge du Manel, and it was an absolute success. The setting is magnificent, both elegant and cozy, perfect for a special evening. The staff was helpful and professional, and the service was impeccable. The dinner dishes were excellent and prepared with care. We were even able to extend the celebration until 2:00 a.m., which greatly contributed to making the evening memorable. In short, an exceptional experience that undoubtedly deserves five stars! A highly recommended address for those seeking elegance, comfort, and a successful private event. Of course. 19/01/2026: I've been coming to the Gouverneur for several years now, both for professional and personal reasons. The setting is magnificent, and the seminar facilities, restaurant, and hotel are very welcoming. Finally, the service is always impeccable. In short, I highly recommend it.

07/01/2025: Disappointed with the last visit, the fish & chips, the fish was very good, and the fries were quite average. On the other hand, serving sachet mayonnaise as a sauce is very limited, we weren't at McDonald's!!! Amazing not to be able to make homemade mayonnaise or aioli. Next time we'll see...

07/03/2026: A wonderful place, a castle and grounds worthy of the finest establishments. The rooms are tastefully decorated, each with its own unique ambiance. The restaurant and breakfast are truly gourmet. Special mention goes to the desserts created by an extraordinary pastry chef.

10/03/2026: A rustic inn ideally located in a quiet spot on the edge of the forest. A pleasant little spa with a jacuzzi, sauna, and hammam (unfortunately, it wasn't working), and a games room with a pool table, foosball, and ping-pong table. A lovely terrace overlooking the ponds. Dinner and breakfast were very good and plentiful. A great find, highly recommended as a base for sightseeing or hiking. The owner is very friendly.

The welcome is friendly, it's very down-to-earth, and that's what makes this place a warm, welcoming place where you feel good and want to come back. The owner and her team are super friendly. We recommend it without hesitation :)

23/08/2025: Reservations are highly recommended. Café de l'Étoile / Baramoules was recommended to us during our vacation, and we're delighted to have enjoyed some excellent moules frites there! A variety of sauces are offered, all excellent! We go there for the simplicity, the owner Viviane, the very pleasant waitresses, and the beach buckets as shell buckets! 😉 €125 / 5 people, main course, dessert, drinks

01/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic! We'd been a few years ago, and the welcome was very warm. The young woman clearly loves what she does, and it shows in her smile. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but that's to be expected when it's homemade. The food was a delight from start to finish, and the quality-price ratio was excellent. We had a truly wonderful time and will definitely be back. Just so you know, I never leave reviews for restaurants where I've been disappointed; we eat at one or two different places each week.
