06/05/2026: We chose this venue to celebrate our daughter's christening. There were 13 of us, and we had a small private room. That morning, they emailed me to choose between indoors or outdoors (it was windy that day). The welcome was fantastic, the service was excellent, everything went perfectly. Our guests and we ourselves enjoyed a wonderful meal. Not a single flaw.

26/06/2026: We stopped in Montbrun-les-Bains for a meal and we weren't disappointed we chose this restaurant. Shaded terrace, welcoming staff, delicious food. If you're passing through, book a table in advance so you don't miss out on this culinary experience! I highly recommend it.

04/06/2026: Very colorful restaurant on a corner with outdoor and indoor tables. Steak and fries were great as was the service. Menu in is French with descriptions in English. Highly recommend for a relaxed, reasonably priced dinner.

Yet, there is one refuge where the ordinary fades away, giving way to magic: Chez Georges. From the moment you cross the threshold, time seems to hold its breath. The welcome is an art, the service a choreography of kindness, and the legendary decor whispers the secrets of old Paris. You don't just sit down to dinner; you travel back in time. Then comes the first ritual. When the rillettes arrive at the table, accompanied by their inseparable jar of cornichons, the moment becomes sacred. It's a true transcendence, a return to the very essence of flavor. The rest of the menu is equally exquisite, a flawless composition. But my heart invariably surrenders to the rump steak with Maille sauce. A masterful cut of meat, coated in a sauce whose secret is so well-kept that it remains unparalleled, unavailable elsewhere, etched in the memory of my taste buds. To conclude this feast, the desserts arrive like divine temptations. Simply mentioning that voluptuous fromage blanc, paired with the richness of a chestnut cream, is enough to awaken my senses. 04/08/2026: This small, somewhat unusual restaurant was a lucky find, and we were so glad we stopped. The staff were very friendly, and the service was impeccable. The menu wasn't extensive, but the food was excellent and well-prepared. We'll definitely be back.

03/08/2026: We had a wonderful lunch at the foot of the stairs. The homemade iced tea was excellent, the desserts had rich and varied flavors, and the vegetarian dish delighted me. In addition, the terrace is perfectly picturesque and the staff is welcoming. The ingredients are carefully and ethically sourced. An ideal restaurant for a delightful meal. Thank you, Merlin!

30/06/2026: Excellent experience. Quick and friendly service. Traditional beef tartare and salad: simple, fresh, and well-seasoned. A real treat in this heat! The dining room is spacious and pleasant, but I opted for the shaded terrace, ideal during a heatwave.

23/06/2026: We had 30 minutes before our TGV departure. And yet, both our meals were served in record time and were absolutely delicious! An excellent place where I will gladly return to try the other dishes on the menu! Furthermore, the waitress was very pleasant, helpful, and always smiling. A real treat!

25/05/2026: Very disappointed given the numerous positive reviews. The waitress was very serious but not very welcoming. As for the food, both the appetizer and the main course lacked seasoning and flavor. The presentation was visually appealing, but one expects to be pleasantly surprised by the taste, which unfortunately wasn't the case. Finally, the dessert ended the meal on a sour note with bruised strawberries. Overall, a disappointing experience.

As for the food, it was a real treat: from the appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious, with high-quality ingredients and perfectly executed dishes. An excellent restaurant in the Chevreuse Valley, where we will gladly return. Everything was perfect!

29/07/2026: A wonderful discovery in Béziers. The dishes were perfectly prepared; the sweetbreads and rabbit, which are hard to find in restaurants, were delicious. There was a lovely emphasis on vegetables, expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The cheese platter was also a delightful journey through the regions of France. The small Corsican cheese was excellent. Thank you for this wonderful evening. The chef's visit at the end of the meal is always a welcome touch.
