The welcome is warm and the atmosphere convivial. A wonderful place that does justice to Breton culture. I highly recommend it!

05/08/2026: A really excellent but not pretentious restaurant. The wait staff were extremely friendly and knowledgable about all of the food and wine on the menu. Food came quickly and was delicious (as well as filling, which is unusual for high-end dining). If you are going for two courses, we’d recommend the main and dessert, but getting all three for €4 extra is a no brainer. We would definitely revisit if ever in Montpellier again!

15/07/2026: A bistro that doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a real treat, and very affordable! Last-minute reservation for July 14th! A super friendly, smiling, and efficient team of servers. We arrived with two little boys, and the server was quick to prepare their meal and very kind to them! We'll be back!!

31/07/2026: Four-course menu (€48), vegan for me and the classic for my partner. We both absolutely loved it; we savored every single dish! It's wonderful to find such refined and flavorful cuisine, even in the vegan version, which is very similar to the classic menu. The ingredients are high-quality, everything is homemade, and you can taste the difference! The service was impeccable. I highly recommend it; it's an experience well worth the price. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area!

02/08/2026: It's difficult to describe such an experience. The welcome was impeccable, combining warmth and professionalism. The customer is the focus, and everything is done to ensure their satisfaction. You immediately feel at ease with the team who greet, organize, and serve the guests. The amuse-bouches at the start of the meal are always a highlight in this type of restaurant. Special mention goes to the biju (a type of oyster), which I hadn't tried before, and the celery remoulade tartlet. - Seafood course: Arborrien oyster (Marseillan, Thau Lagoon) in seawater gel, smoked oyster tartare, a sweet pearl to be broken with a hammer, beechwood smoke. - Grilled sardine, "mini summer barbecue" style, with piquillo peppers, black olives, basil; biscuit, head and bone stuffing, grilled bone to eat. - Vegetable platter: stuffed zucchini blossom, vegetable broth flavored with cardamom. - Main course: Occitan bourride (monkfish, eel, pike-perch), reimagined after the fire of August 5th. The vegetables bear the marks of ash; squid ink croutons evoke the charred trees. - Cheeses presented in progression from mildest to strongest; tasting advice from left to right. - Cheeses mentioned: Bergeronnette de Lozère (sheep's milk), Chef de l'Orne (Carrus farm), Saint-Julien (cow's milk tomme), beer-washed sheep's milk, Saint-Félix-Braguet cow's milk (18 months), goat's milk (24 months), Roquefort Vieux Berger, Bleu de Causse, Bleu de Bryolat (the only blue cow's milk cheese from the Aude region), cheese washed with Rivesaltes wine. Accompaniment: fig jam flavored with lemon. For dessert, two courses: The "faux" Menton lemon, a culinary feat with bold and refreshing flavors, followed by apricot. 13/07/2026: I still love this restaurant, which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. However, I didn't understand why, on our last visit, we didn't receive the same appetizers as the other customers who arrived before and after us. We usually adore the cream puffs we saw being served at the tables around us, but we were served pickled zucchini, and the vinegar is a matter of taste... unfortunately, it was a deal-breaker for us. We wondered why we weren't served like everyone else, and we were told it was to coordinate with our aperitifs, even though our neighbors had the same type of aperitif as us. It's a small detail, admittedly, nitpicking, perhaps. But it's important when you become a regular, and indeed, until now we've never had anything to complain about. If I may just suggest an additional vegetarian option... A superb restaurant that deserves to be better known! From the welcome and service to the menu, everything was perfect. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was perfect and so tasty! You might want to bring a good knife for the meat... but that's really because there's absolutely nothing to criticize. Thank you for your kindness; we all had a wonderful time. The restaurant was packed, and deservedly so. See you soon!

27/06/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! A restaurant of exceptional gastronomy. Each dish is a journey of flavors, a feast for the eyes and the palate. You don't want to finish the dish; you want it to last forever. The tasting experience takes on its full meaning. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. A must-try meal to discover a beautiful culinary world.

01/05/2026: If you love Middle Eastern cuisine, then Bougaci will leave you speechless with its marvelous couscous, offering up to five meats of your choice. The quality is remarkable; the couscous is light and melts in your mouth. We would have just asked for a slightly spicier sauce, but otherwise, it's a wonderful experience to share with friends. If you order a three-meat couscous, a coffee, and a small glass of wine as a starter, expect to pay around 50 euros per person. A very reasonable price for the quality of the meal we enjoyed. As an added bonus, a belly dancer performs a dance halfway through the meal. The restaurant is popular, and the servers are very pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return to share it with others. A big thumbs up! Thank you!

03/08/2026: We contacted Eric based on his social media presence. However, getting in touch was complicated: right up until two days before our wedding, we were stressed about having to answer simple questions that should have been resolved long ago (the reception venue address was requested repeatedly, the dessert selection was unclear, etc.). My husband wanted to change caterers, but I refused because we only had 15 guests. For 100 people, we would never have booked him. He had no sense of organization, a lack of transparency regarding the quote, and, to top it off, some unpleasant surprises when it came time to pay the balance. During our first meeting, he told us he was in a dispute with a client who refused to pay... and he ended up doing the same thing to us. We paid for peace of mind, but what a disappointment! My husband signed a document confirming that the staff had finished at 12:15 a.m., but Eric charged us for an additional 30 minutes, as well as an unannounced surcharge for desserts. If we were to rate only the day itself, which was managed by Guillaume and Aurore, we would have given it 5 stars. They were attentive and responsive, and all our guests appreciated them. The meal was fabulous, and they adapted perfectly to the venue. Unfortunately, that's not everything: the before and after also matter, and they left us with a bitter taste.

26/07/2026: A small restaurant I discovered last year, truly excellent, serving Lyonnaise cuisine with just the right touch from the chef, without ever compromising the integrity of the ingredients. Returning this year, even better: tongue with gribiche sauce and green bean salad, followed by perfectly pink veal liver – a delight from start to finish. Excellent wine selection and very helpful recommendations. Impeccable welcome and service.

25/07/2026: An unusual, almost timeless place with Belle Époque charm. The personalized welcome sets the tone: everyone at the restaurant goes out of their way to ensure we have a wonderful time. The beautifully presented dishes, a feast for the eyes, awaken our taste buds and ignite our pleasure in tasting them. A wide selection of rum and/or whisky will delight connoisseurs. The Champagne and Wine list is extensive and impressive, offering epicureans plenty to enjoy.
