29/08/2026: A beautiful bistro, full of flavor, nestled amidst the fields. The dining room perfectly blends the atmosphere of a bistro with that of a farmhouse, with great charm. On the plate, a generous parmigiana, gnocchi with smoked bacon, and pork tenderloin piccata: fragrant dishes, perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. All accompanied by equally delightful wines. The service was dynamic, warm, and very pleasant. A truly wonderful place!

The service was attentive and perfectly timed. The decor is modern, understated, yet inviting and warm. The beehive on the roof and the drought resistant garden underline the intentions of the restaurant’s “natural” concept. Bravo.

09/09/2026: A lovely little restaurant where we had a great time. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent; the only problem is finding a parking spot nearby. Reservations are necessary as it's often full. The grilled meats are perfect and cooked right in front of you, and the portions are generous. The desserts are also delicious, especially the French toast, which is very substantial.

25/09/2026: An excellent lunch, great value for money. The set menu was €21, including everything from starter to dessert. The portions were very generous, the atmosphere pleasant, and the staff very friendly. I was even able to take my dessert, a plum tart, home with me because I was too full after the starter and main course. And I must say, the tart was delicious; I don't regret asking if I could take it home 😊 The chef even came to check on us to see if everything was alright. If he reads this, I can confirm that his tart was excellent, just like the rest of the meal. I highly recommend this establishment.

04/10/2026: I was looking for a good place for a decent cassoulet, and I ended up at Le Pailleron. The welcome was pleasant, the service quick... a lovely, very good Lyonnaise salad preceded my much-anticipated dish: the cassoulet! The casserole arrived, full and appetizing. However, in my opinion, the sauce was too acidic and detracted from the richness of the dish... and, again in my opinion, the beans were too firm... but that's just my opinion! That didn't stop me from finishing my meal 😊

13/09/2026: This restaurant is simply a haven of peace. The view of Sainte-Victoire is breathtaking. It's a guaranteed relaxing experience. The food is excellent, and the menu is varied. Furthermore, the staff is very warm and welcoming, and the service is very pleasant. My partner and I love going there.

The tripe is drowned in an excessively thick coating: it looks like cheap fried chicken, not a traditional Lyonnais dish. The pike quenelle, meanwhile, is bland, pasty, and almost disgusting. For this price, you expect better than heavy, poorly executed, and clearly overpriced food. Don't waste your time or money here. A €35 "Lyonnais menu," and honestly, it's not worth it. The main courses feel closer to fast food than to a proper Lyonnais. The tripe is buried under a coating that's far too thick—more like cheap fried chicken than a classic Lyonnais dish. The pike quenelle is bland, pasty, and frankly unpleasant. At this price, you expect better than heavy, poorly executed, completely overpriced food. Don't waste your time or your money here.
