17/07/2026: Exceptional service and menu is delicious! This was one of our favorite meals in Paris, including the best fish entree I had during our trip, the chocolate dessert is a must try!!

16/07/2026: Family meal after the Bastille Day parade. Fresh and well-prepared food. Air-conditioned dining room. Very pleasant atmosphere. Discreet and efficient service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful time.

26/06/2026: "Le P'tit Resto," discovered by chance at the end of a small street (a humorous sign mentions the restaurant at the very end of the very end of the street—actually, it's only 30 meters away, as the street is quite narrow). No children's menu (a plus for me), a well-written menu with a limited selection, a nicely decorated restaurant serving French cuisine—everything seemed appealing. The dining room was small (plus another upstairs), and it was almost full, which was reassuring. There was no wait, and the waiter was pleasant. The prices aren't the same as the restaurants facing the port (it's more expensive here, but it feels less touristy and more authentic). The dishes are beautiful and well-presented. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the starter (Asian-style tuna tartare): the salad was poorly seasoned, the tartare was tiny, the tuna flavor was very strong, and I didn't detect any Asian flavors. As for the main course, the burger was good. I asked if I could have two homemade sauces, and they... They said yes, without mentioning that they would be extra. The fries are homemade, but average. I was very disappointed by the dessert, the profiteroles, which you can order 1, 2, or 3 of... the choux pastry was hard, really, not tasty at all, the ice cream was bland, tasteless, and the chocolate was a very dark liquid, a basic, mass-produced chocolate. Only the whipped cream was good, with a strawberry. Overall, it's beautiful, the presentation is nice, but the value for money is poor in my opinion. I don't recommend this restaurant, and I won't be going back. It's too expensive for the quality it offers. The goat cheese salad was passable, the beef tartare was good, but nothing special. In conclusion; the restaurant gives the impression of being gourmet, or semi-gourmet, when it isn't. I generally give rather generous ratings, and I'm surprised that the overall rating for the restaurant is 4.8... It doesn't reflect the quality of my experience.

04/06/2026: A tale of two visits. Dinner the night before was great, with good service and food. Lunch the next day was terrible. Food was below average and the waiter war horrendous, serving three (French) tables that sat down after we had ordered. Couldn't be more disrespectful. Consider somewhere else if you aren't a local. A real shame.

14/07/2026: Restaurant Jan was incredible from beginning to end. Every course outdid the last, and the trip to the cheese room was truly unexpected and stood out from the handful of other Michelin starred establishments we have visited. The wine pairing was also wonderful as was the somm who explained each, as well as the whole team there.

06/06/2026: Help, the service! The service was incredibly pushy... she spoke loudly and was insistent. We said we didn't want dessert, and she replied, "Well, I don't care, I'm paid to give you the menu and tell you about today's desserts." Then she shoved the dessert menu in front of us, recited all the desserts, and said she'd be back in two minutes to take our order. In short, we wanted a quiet lunch break, but that was a disaster. Not only did we not get dessert, but we didn't even get coffee as we'd wanted because the waitress was so annoying!

19/07/2026: We just came across this restaurant because we went and toured the Castle near by a must do if you are in the area. Our food was delicious but this restaurant was more than the food. It was a whole experience. We showed up to the cows heading out to pasture after being milked. Then we got to go see and pet the super cute baby cows. Last week sat down to eat the yummy cheese that is make right there with meat and bread. I highly recommend all this restaurant. The view is stunning, the food is excellent and the wait staff is so kind and friendly. This is an experience we will forever remember.
