It was truly delicious, so much so that I won't forget this meal anytime soon. ❤️ On my next visit to Paris, I'll definitely book a table to come back and see you. 20/09/2026: A last-minute lunch that had no business being this good. The Tops This was one of those lucky finds — a last-minute family lunch, a table booked against the odds, and a restaurant that immediately made the effort worth it. Service started early, at 12:30, and stayed attentive the entire meal without ever hovering. The menu structure is smart: two set formules, either starter-plus-main or main-plus-dessert, both reasonably priced for the quality on the plate. The owner has real opinions and isn't shy about sharing them — the kind of guidance that actually improves your order instead of just steering you toward whatever needs to move that day. Three glasses of Chablis in, and the whole table was fully converted. We started with a Tartare de bar à la fleur de sel, condiments, lemon and cider vinegar, and white asparagus from Maine-et-Loire prepared façon gribiche. The tartare was the standout of the two — fresh, clean, well-balanced acidity, exactly what a fish tartare should be and rarely is. For mains, two of us went with the fish of the day, a rascasse, served with a cauliflower mousseline and a watercress coulis with its own condiments — delicate without being timid. The third plate was a seared tuna over crushed potatoes, spiced vinaigrette, sucrine lettuce, and parmesan shavings, and it came in a genuinely generous portion — no plating tricks to make a small piece look important. Dessert closed things out on a high note: a roasted peach with Cognac and lemon crème brûlée, and a Valrhona Caraïbe 66% chocolate soufflé with caramelized puffed rice. Both desserts were composed, not just sweet — the kind of finish that makes you linger at the table longer than planned. The Meh Nothing to flag on the food or service. If there's a catch, it's that the place is genuinely popular — a real mix of regulars and tourists — so getting a table isn't always as easy as we got it this time. The People An opinionated owner who clearly cares, a team that speaks English fluently and gives confident, well-informed wine recommendations. The kind of staff you trust with the decision, not just the delivery. Yes — already planning to come back to try dinner.

16/09/2026: In this touristy spot, you'd expect much better. Nothing good from appetizer to dessert. Yuck! The food was tasteless; we left everything after tasting the dishes. Avoid this place.

20/09/2026: Excellent restaurant in the 17th arrondissement, I highly recommend it! The ingredients are fresh and the menu changes regularly. Just one small thing to keep in mind before going: there are no vegetarian options.

25/08/2026: Family dinner. The food was excellent and we had a very pleasant time. The selection of Savoy wines allowed us to discover two real gems. It's an incident with the service that prevents me from giving it 5 stars. We took our order in advance by phone to allow us to plan ahead, which was fine in principle. However, the starter wasn't what we had ordered. The waiter then insisted he was right, that his order was correct, and that we had all made a mistake collectively (there were nine of us!). Not a word of apology and absolutely no humility! If we weren't on vacation and looking to spend an evening with family, you would have had nine €60 menus on your hands! I thank our waitress who took over for the rest of the meal...

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this establishment. The morel mushroom tart and the andouillette sausage were absolutely divine. We will gladly return.
