12/04/2026: I was so happy to celebrate my birthday at this inn. The staff were so kind, friendly, and professional, not to mention the delicious and generous portions. I was a little apprehensive about how the day would go, especially the food, since I organized everything by phone and email while in Marseille. But I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. I will definitely be back. All my guests were delighted.

08/04/2026: Outstanding! A must have for truffle lovers. The quality of the food is excellent, the portions are substantial, and the truffles are plenty. They offer their own wine brand, Peyrassol, which is excellent. We were happy with the food and the service.

08/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, great food and a warm welcome. As someone with a nut and peanut allergy, they provided an allergen information sheet and were very accommodating. It's just a shame that peanuts are present in most of the dishes.

02/04/2026: Back at this restaurant after about ten years… and still just as good. The experience was exceptional, a true restaurant, with all that implies. A well-crafted menu, dishes that flowed seamlessly, each with its own unique touch and impeccable execution. A very pleasant surprise on the wine front as well, with a quality selection that perfectly complemented the meal. But the real highlight was the desserts: you immediately know they're their specialty. Precise execution, indulgence, balance… it's hard to imagine anything better. An establishment that has evolved while retaining its soul. I highly recommend it.

01/04/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! Today was my third time dining at this restaurant, so I took the time and pleasure to review it. The French-Japanese fusion is perfectly executed! The flavors complement each other with precision and creativity. The menus are intelligently designed, showcasing high-quality ingredients, treated with care at every stage. From appetizer to dessert, the cooking is impeccable, demonstrating true expertise. A big thank you also to the service, which was welcoming and warm. The staff takes the time to explain the dishes, sometimes surprising, but always delicious. A culinary experience as enjoyable as it is memorable!

30/04/2026: The Col de la Croix Morand is an exceptional site that is truly worth a visit. We cannot say the same for the restaurant "Le Buron du Col de la Croix Morand." We received a very poor welcome from a highly unpleasant person who openly criticized the customers: a customer seated at a nearby table was, and I quote, "aggressive." No wonder, given the reception! This waitress showed absolutely no restraint. She's surely the same person who takes reservations over the phone! Furthermore, upon our arrival around noon, we were told: "Your table is reserved again for 2 p.m." In short, a dreadful welcome. As for the food, there was nothing of quality about it. We ate poorly; it wasn't good, in a very noisy atmosphere. An unpleasant experience in many respects, despite the magnificent surrounding nature.

24/03/2026: The best food in all of Mont-Dore. Incredible value for money, but above all, dishes cooked with passion and expertise. I highly recommend it!

17/03/2026: A flawless experience at this charming, authentic café/bistro, where you're greeted with warmth and smiles by two waitresses whose anecdotes are as delightful as the food. The Auvergne-style garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew) is wonderfully comforting, while the homemade desserts are a feast for the eyes. Take, for example, the lightly sweetened and airy chocolate mousse, or the rice pudding, which is its complete opposite (and we couldn't be happier). A perfect spot for lunch.

19/04/2026: I had the pleasure of returning to this restaurant recently, and the experience lived up to my expectations. The meal was excellent, meticulously prepared, with true skill and great sensitivity in the dishes. But beyond the food, it's also a wonderful story: that of a young man from the village who worked diligently and determinedly in prestigious establishments to reach where he is today. Seeing him take over with such talent and commitment is truly gratifying. Well done, Paul-Antoine.
